Hot Tan

Out of business. Just paid almost 100.00 for sessions. Went back a few days later to use, they are out of business. They knew they were closing, yet they took my money.

I went in for the first time and Drew helped me out. He gave me a tour first thing and was very informative. I will definitely be going back. My first experience here was amazing thanks to Drew.

I was told I had to PRE PAY for part of my spray tan, so drove down a few weeks before my appointment to do so, on the day off my appointment about 1 hour before, was told the spray tan person cancelled, I had already taken off work and was set to leave town the next day, too late to reschedule and had to call all over town for someone else to do it, then HAD to drive back to them for my refund. I’m thinking if I had cancelled they would have kept my deposit, but for my inconvenience, I got a «I’m sorry». Won’t ever go here.

I signed up for the $ 95.00 unlimited for 3 months. I actually went 3 times. Bulbs were missing in 2 of the rooms. And had apparently been that way for months. The guy who works there in the morning is super cool and was quite accomadating. But he could only do so much. They let me out of the 3 month. But charged me $ 95.00 for 3 Times tanning. I spoke with the Manager. And she said the owner was out of town. Haven’t heard back. The rooms need cleaning. LESSON LEARNED: just because a business says: «Luxury Tanning» DOESN’T NOT MEAN THAT!!! LOOK. AND MAKE SURE ALL BULBS ARE PROPERKY WORKING. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! LUXURY. according to whom? Not a indoor tanner. that’s for sure. Sit outside. for free! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME. NOR MONEY.NOR LOTION.

This place is super cute and I love all the accessories they have here. Things you wouldn’t find just anywhere.
I originally came in to Tan but ended up buying jewelry, glasses, purse and even a matching wallet. Since then I have purchased many other fashion accessories for a night on the town .
I attended a Yonka event where I received free gifts and also purchased Cleanser/​Toner/​Facial lotions and puffy under eye cream. When your my age 36 it is important to keep up your face as well as your body. Before it is too late.
I had my Tan/​Eyelashes/​and facial all done here for my wedding.

. I had a spray tan a few weeks ago. My first spray ever .I came in with questions. She Answered all my questions n Also giving me additional information on how to keep my tan. .
Initially I thought it was a bit dark. She told me it would lighten up after I shower (within 8 hours).. I left it on for about 7 hours. I was amazed at the result. I absolutely fell in love with tan. It covered a lot of my scars. And one thing I love the most. I look skinnier.
I’m a happy customer.

I had a coupon for a week of free tanning. I knew that it was basic tanning but I was so very disappointed. Not only did I not get any color, and I tan very easily, but I was very uncomfortable. The space is rather small and it is filled with all sorts of accessories for sale. Extremely overpriced as well. I was told the bulbs were changed quite frequently and that all of their beds were brand-​new. I used to have my own tanning salon so I knew exactly what to look for. But anyone off the street could see that nothing was of new and up to date. Especially when I lay down in the bed… The bulbs inside the bed were extremely dusty, flickering on and off, the face lamps didn’t work, the fan had an odor of dirt and mildew and I’m pretty sure they don’t wipe down the beds with anything but water and a rag. I would not recommend this facility any. Especially since I never went back to finish my free tanning.

A lot has changed about Hot Tan. I used to see the same girl for my lashes. She’s no longer at Hot Tan. This place is clean and seems like a great place to tan but I’ve never been in a tanning bed.
The 2 stars are for how nice the shop is, how many different services that are offered and the late hours which are great for ladies that work late.
That’s about it for my update.

The supposed «Manager» at this tanning salon is an incompetent piece of work. I called with a problem with the billing and all I got was an attitude. I kept trying to tell her what i had been told regarding my contract and all she kept saying was «well i didn’t tell you that» IDGAF. She was so rude to me that I couldn’t even talk to her I had to hang up.
Other then the complete retard of a Manager i Love all of the girls working there and loved tanning there.
Just beware, if you ever have problems, she won’t help you solve them.

The girl at the front obviously hated life that day, although the lobby/​waiting area is cute, her disdain for all of humanity including myself really bummed me out.
The place was clean, i wasn’t worried about my health or safety, but it was over priced and I wasn’t even paying that extra money towards a really fun experience. I left tanner, and a bit sad. I haven’t been back and don’t really intend to repeat the experience.

I love this place! They are super sweet, not stuck up like other tanning salons. They want to get you the best deal and they can remember a face! I feel like a VIP when I go there. Not to mention the décor is awesome, very sexy and chic!

This salon is close to home, as well as one other ‘chain’ tanning salon. I have been to both and, personally, I felt more comfortable & welcome at Hot Tan. Their prices are competitive and the place is cleaner than other salons I have visited. Per Tori S.‘s review; I have never met the owner so I can’t speak to that but the staff that I have dealt with are very friendly and knowledgeable.

The owner, Selena, and all of her staff are very professional, courteous, and will help you find a lotion and a bed that you will like/​enjoy. I like the Level 4 Stand-​Up personally. The level 5 bed looks like something out of the future… but is really good if you already have a decent base color. They also have really good tanning packages (think unlimited monthly packages) and offer a discount if you choose the electronic fund transfer option of payment.
The store is always clean and has a nice rockabilly type look (think black floors with glitter in it) and Andy Warhol type pictures of Frankenstein.
Besides tanning you can get a spray tan and spa type services such as waxing and facials.
I’ve been going to Hot Tan for a couple of years now and will continue to frequent them, despite the move from Commerce to Durango.
