Avoid at all cost and tell your friends not to go! We were staying at the lovely Bally’s and so naturally we went to the Bally’s bar. The live music was very appealing, however the barmaid, she said her name was holiday, had all the appeal of a jaded street walker. We were then raped probably for the most expensive drinks in the United States. I’ve been to some of the highest end nightclubs in Vegas and the prices were not as high as they were here. Like all the other reviewer’s, we were refused a glass of water being told we had to pay for an eight dollar bottle of water. The waitress, holiday, said if we didn’t like it we could leave. This is literally the worst bar I’ve ever been to, and like it or not, I go to a lot of bars! Just in case management cares and her name wasn’t holiday, she had long dark hair she never smiled at anybody in the whole bar — we actually stayed for a while, dancing, and I washed her to see if it was just us, it wasn’t. She literally never smiled at one person the entire time we were there. She had a lot of tattoos down I think her right arm.

That was the most ridiculous price place I’ve ever been. We spent $ 26 on two drinks and when asked for a little bit of water we were told it cost $ 8. Although we had the empty scotch glass in front of us with ice they refused to put any water in it. I will never go back!

This used to be my favorite place to go chill out on the strip but my how things have changed this place has great music but no music is good enough to get ripped off by a waitress for 300 buck I at most drank about 100 to my self in tips and alcohol but never in my life have I spent 300 dollars in drinks to myself unfortunately I don’t have the waitresses name but she kinda looks Asian and her hair is pulled back so tight it probably messes up her math skills it’s really sad that this hotel(Ballys) that I grew up in took me for my cash I was coming here in the good days when Joe Miller was the casino host and Ballys cared about costumer service it’s unfortunate that with this many negative reviews that Ballys hasn’t addressed this problem it’s a real shame for a classy hotel on the strip

We went here after seeing an amazing girl band here a few month back and the band wasn’t bad at all. But the waitresses literally robbed us blind they put other people’s drinks on our tabs, they charged us for things we had no idea why they were on there… Okay obviously they think they’re pretty and can get away with it. But this was just crazy! 500 $$ for 2 people getting 3 beers and 2 shots!?!’ The whole bar was on our tab without us knowing it. Can’t be a piece of shit for the rest of your life and get away with it :))) Once her looks go… I hope she’s saving her robbed money.

the Worst lounge on the strip. I’m in the industry and support artistic lounges and this by far is the worst on the Las Vegas Strip. I work in the Fashion Show show I will tell every customer to avoid Ballys and avoid Indigo lounge!

Horrible bar — great live music. Positive note: the band playing was high energy and really enjoyable. Everything else: — overpriced drinks. We order a mixed shot and without asking, they used top shelf liquor. Yes, it was a silly shot, mixed with baileys but they charged us for a grey goose shot. Who puts top shelf in a mixed shot? Also, it wasn’t a full shot. we think some spilled out and they didn’t bother to fix it. But they did manage to charge us $ 32 for two shots(or rather half shots). — we asked for 2 ice waters. We received two bottles of water — for $ 18. When we said we didn’t want bottled the waitress pointed at the water fountain and said«there». Thanks Vanessa, wouldn’t want to trouble you for a glass for water when we payed $ 48 for three drinks(one was a bud light!!!). — Gratuity included on the check — mandatory 20% for table service. We asked why and they said it was because they were a «dance club.» Let’s be real — they’re a bar with live music. We would have been ok with 20%, it’s what we usually give, if not more, but with the $ 48 for three drinks, we were just shocked — Clientele: age range: 50’s and up… there was one couple dancing a slow swing, around the age of my grandparents so we thought it was cute, but not what we were looking for. We paid and then left. It probably left a bitter note that the last bar we went to(that also had music) we ordered the same(with better shots) but paid about half the price. I’d recommend going somewhere else. just left us feeling taken advantaged of.

This place is absolute bullshit. They charge a minimum without telling you. They overprice everything. They charged us for water without telling us. The waitress(didn’t get her name) was terrible. We had to ask for an itemized receipt. Such a bitch. Everything was terrible about this place, especially si car it wa just some mediocre 80s cover band playing the whole night.

This is an a-ok bar /lounge space in Bally’s. It’s not really separate from the casino area, so you get all the people watching(always a plus) and slot machine noises(not so plus-worthy when it’s competing with a DJ). In an attempt to be cool and hip, there’s a DJ that spins. And there will be some drunk people that will dance. I’m pretty sure you can drop a small fortune on a reserved table if you were über-concerned about getting a particular tiny table to sit at. But that’s really all uncalled for as this is pretty much just a lobby bar /center bar place. It’s like the Heart Bar in Planet Hollywood, but smaller. This is definitely not a place to go out of your way to visit. There’s just, frankly, nothing noteworthy or special trip about it. But, if you’re hanging at Bally’s for other reasons, and have a hankering for a cocktail or a loud DJ or an overpriced drink, you should come here. The cocktail list was alright. There are far better cocktails to be had elsewhere. But again, if you’re already at Bally’s, this bar should meet your drinking needs just fun.

Wow, I had an awesome time here enjoying the amazing live singers! This place has an older crowd, but I’m down with that. Sometimes you just want to hear some live music, you know what I’m saying? Some of these people sing the latest hits too so it’s not all old music. This one filipino chick can ssssssaaaannng though. She was busting Mary J. Blige’s song and it was great. I didn’t drink here, but the waitress girl said that it was a 2 drink minimum per person. which is fine. I ordered my first drink(I was going dry that night so I got a shirley temple(4.25)) and I gave her my debit card thinking she’ll just have an open tab… weird thing is, she came by and gave me my check… WTH? I thought it was a 2 drink minimum — since she made it very, VERY clear to us that it was… per person. I… just didn’t get it. Anyways, I had a good time. The little lounge is open to the casino so you can sit at a slot machine and enjoy the music too. I just love this little place because the energy is HIGH. There are people of all ages here and they ALL get down on the dance floor. from this olllllllld couple that’s around late 60’s salsa dancing to girls like us who were on the 23 – 26 age range– fun was had by all.

Fun little venue when they have live music. However we tried to watch some sports here and that was a mistake. The sportsbook was over full so we came here to watch the NFL championship games. The TV is absolutely horrible. Not only is a 80s TV, but it’s broken so it’s even more blurry. The seats are cozy though and you can BYOB so you can’t complain too much I guess.

Even if you weren’t an American Idol fan, you owe it to yourself to go see Taylor Hicks show at Bally’s! Extremely high energy, great band, songs from country to pop and all done very well! Highly recommended!!!

The Indigo Lounge at Bally’s is easy to find(if you park in Park Hotel and Casino self-park garage), roomy and there is not a bad seat in the room. I saw Taylor Hicks perform and he was great. He has a powerful voice, live band and a nice blend of original material and great covers. The bar is easy to find and cocktail service is available. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that while I understand merchandising is important, fans are what makes the performer and one shouldn’t have to buy anything to get a photo or autograph. It is part of the price of being a performer and everyone should be accommodated, especially if they purchased VIP tickes.

This place is fun because there is always a live band playing in the evening. So if you are looking do get your dance on like you are at a wedding, then this is it. In fact, if I was getting married(too late), then I would bring the whole wedding party by here and tell them to enjoy the reception. The only problem is that it is a cash bar(and credit or room charge too)! I hate those kind of weddings(not the band part but the cash bar part). Tables fill up fast but the room isn’t closed off from the casino. You can always walk up with your own drink and enjoy the show. There are also slot machines within ear and eye shot. I love this place because it reminds me of Old Vegas. Every casino had musical acts playing in the bars and lounges. There was no cover all Vegas wanted was you to come in and spend money on your drinks. Now every casino has mega night clubs with Lines and VIP lists, Karaōke bars, and dueling pianos. So it is nice to see some original Vegas entertainment. I’ve seen this town change in the last 20 years, so I appreciate this lounge. Bring the whole group and grab a table. Get a few drinks and put on those dancing shoes. This is Vegas at it’s best!!!

Indigo Lounge lured me in with it’s live Band: JAM, belting out the latest hip hop songs. Later in the night around midnight they switched to some older songs and even some 80’s music. The crowd was a mix of 20−60yr olds who all liked to dance. It was highly entertaining to see all the different styles of dancing throughout each generation. They now have a 2 drink minimum, which is totally worth it if you go a little earlier for the dance music. The band sounds great.
