Jun’s Is a very good restaurant. They had very good food, that was well priced. The server was very kind and quick to sit us down and take our order.

No greeting as soon as we get in. All staff had a sour face w/a very bad attitude to match. We were very hungry but left after talking to each other and agreed how we don’t need to give our money to a place like this. There was a bunch of us family too w/my mother-in-law from CA that had her heart set on korean. What a dissapoinment! At least we’re now here walking distance trying out a viet café, already a big difference w/the staff!

Juns, another go to place that’s close to where I live when I want Korean food… I enjoy the banchan they have… Wish it was an AYCE joint but it’ll do for me. Cute Resturant and the staff are really nice people… Good food but they’ve raised their prices through the years and much smaller portions now… It is what it is… I still like coming here just so convenient… Oh and they sell their kimchi by the bottle and it’s real good!

After a heated debate with my friend about what to eat, we both agreed on a place that serves rice. We simply typed«rice» on the search bar of Unilocal and this place popped up first. I was surprised this place came up because I didn’t know they had more than one location(always went to the one on Craig). We went during lunch time and it wasn’t as busy. We were seated right away. The worker was quick with getting us waters. I’m a huge fan of Korean food and I just wanted to order everything! However, I ended up ordering the«Jun’s Special.» It consisted of BBQ chicken, Meat Chun, Kalbi and Bulgogi. It was delicious especially eating it with the sides like Kim Chee. My friend ordered the Bibimpab in the stone pot. That consisted of a hot stone bowl filled with rice, vegetables, egg, and bulgogi. It was alright. I’ve had better at other places. The ambience of the place was very chill and relax. It’s decorated with pics of their food lol. Considering that Korean restaurants are mostly located in china town, it was nice to find a place in Henderson. Food was alright and service was quick. I’ll definitely be coming back if I need a quick Korean food fix.

I was in the Henderson area today to do some studying. My friend and I were craving anything with rice, did I mention the fact that we’re asian? Anyway, Jun’s Korean Restaurant came up and we were immediately on our way. This place has Meat Jun!(I don’t know why, but they called it Meat Chun… In Hawaii we all say Meat Jun lol) They have their own private parking lot shared with the surrounding restaurants and shops. It is also located next to the Regal Cinemas. I came for the Meat Jun but ended up getting Bi Bim Bap(about $ 11 including tax), which was also very delicious! Bi Bim Bap is a signature Korean dish with veggies, eggs, sauce, and beef on top of rice. And you mix it all together. In this restaurant you could have it either on a plate or in the stone bowl. Of course I got it in the stone bowl because why not?! The taste was a 4/5, I’ve had better in Hawaii but it was still a successful lunch choice(Best Bi Bim Bap I’ve had in Vegas thus far)! The distance is quite far from where I live, so I would come here only if I was in the area craving Meat Jun or some good Bi Bim Bap. The proportions were good for it’s price, my friend and I both couldn’t finish our plates. The customer service was okay, but not too much communication took place. However, may I say that the interior gives off a mellow/relaxed feeling. The pictures on the wall were big and pretty, just like their menu behind the front counter. It was easy to read. There were about 10 or more size-varying tables/chairs in the dining area and no outdoor seating. This is a good place to get some authentic Korean plates for lunch or dinner in Henderson. It’s not too busy and the food quality was great!

Good Korean food at the right price. Service is mediocre I’ve ordered and items not come. At the end of the meal i’d remind our server to cancel the appetizers cause we’re done with our meals. Bi BIMBOP is good you can get it in a bowl or stone pot banchan is kimchee potato cucumber and sprouts. I would come back here again cause the place does help with over eating. When you arrive your hungry and order a bunch of stuff and only a few items come out and your already full your some what glad they forgot to make it.

Our 1st time here last sunday around 11am. Place was small and busy. It being busy though small made us feel good assuming that people do come because there is something good with this Korean place. Service was fast, not courteous enough but not bad/rude. Server seems to be Korean and although she wasn’t that friendly she still tended well to our requests such as refill, extra napkins, extra plate for our little one… Etc. I ordered the Jun’s special(rice, salad & sampler of their various meats). It was good and lots of serving that I was able to share it with my preschooler. The husband had the macarel with rice. It was also good. My older child had the teriyaki chicken bowl and i got a feedback that it was also good. Proof was the empty bowl at the end of the meal :) 3 meals plus 1 fountain drink our total bill was only about $ 40, tax and tip included. That’s pretty good! Plus you can request for extra side dishes like Kimchi. Awesomely yummy I hope they expand their area to be able to accommodate more people. Ohh and when they do they’ll also need extra hand, atleast maybe on weekends when its busy. We’ll comeback for sure!

Juns just opened a new location on Tropicana and Hualipai. The restaurant is small but clean. My wife is Korean and we have dined many of the Korean restaurants in Vegas. The portion size was good but the bunchan, appetizers, we’re dry and tasteless. My son ordered Kalbi for $ 13.95 and there was hardly any meat on the bones! My niece and nephew were not impressed. We thought about asking for a discount or sending some of the food back. But, in typically Korean fashion we just thanked them for the meal and left but told one another we would never return. My suggestion if you want good, traditional Korean food is to go to Honey Pig on Decatur or Lee’s BBQ on Spring Mountain. You may pay a little more but your food and dining experience will be worth it. I suggest you skip Juns altogether and save your money, your taste buds will thank you!

Alright imma throw in my 2 cents… Listen too the past reviews peeps!!! I kind of dis. But wanted to try it. Kalbi is really thin 3 pieces for $ 13.95 Jun’s special $ 13.95 a plate. 1 piece of each. Kalbi, chicken, meat Chun(jhun). And bulgogi aka Teri beef oh and 1 mandoo. Everything tasted good but really REALLYSMALLPORTIONS. I spent $ 40 and I still hungry… My suggestion, go to island style or tofu hut. You get more bang for your buck. And taste just as good if not better!!!

Been coming here for years and every time the portions of food get smaller. The food is great but I’m paying full price $ 12 for a combo plate! 2 pieces of meat jun and 1 piece of thin kalbi for that price! If I wanted a mini I could have went to l&l or island sushi for a mini that’s half the price!!! Probably will have to search for a new spot. Sorry but please if you want to keep the customers happy then please make sure your portions and quality stay the same, once it changes your out of luck.

I like Korean food(sometimes) but there isn’t any good, authentic Korean restaurants in Henderson. Jun’s is the only option in Henderson. Just okay — nothing to rave about. I usually order to-go, and stick to the same dishes(spicy tofu soup, grilled meat dishes). The women have always been pleasant towards me, seem nice. Sometimes, I do not feel like driving all the way to K-Town or Spring Mtn to grab Korean takeout so I’ll grab something at Jun’s. If I’m craving Korean BBQ, then I’ll head to Gen(Galleria Mall).

There’s been some rave reviews. Korean restaurants are very limited in vegas, and I was on a mission to get myself a stone-pot bibimpab. I was so shocked to pull up to a mom-and-pop fast-food type of place. I guess I was expecting a dine-in, non-food court vibe restaurant. The food was meh. Bibimpab was nothing to write home about. Their teriyaki chicken dish was okay.

I love Jun’s! The food it great. The staff aren’t very friendly, but the food is so amazing it doesn’t matter. They have many traditional items as well as a few dishes that are not Korean, but still awesome. It has a casual to-go setting, not exactly a date spot, not that I haven’t tried. My love for soodubu– jiggae goes that far! They even sell the iconic sides to go if you want to prepare your own food and need some help.

I like that this location is close to where I teach and close to home as well. I enjoy Korean cuisine because of the fresh vegetables, lean proteins, and clean feel to their entrées. I enjoyed the chicken bibimbop which consists of fresh veggies, fried egg, grilled meat, all on a hot plate! Side relishes and Kim chee accompanied the plate perfectly! I enjoy the options here and would like to see what else the menu offers!

I am always amazed at how delicious this place is. I fell in love with Korean food here. I always order«mee-Gaw-jun» which is a spicy vegetable and shredded beef soup, served in a metal bowl. I would recommend their«bi-bim-bop» in a hot pot with raw egg! I love the tofu soup it’s spicy as heck and I love spicy! If It isn’t spicy, it’s not worth eating!!! Also, the bulgogi beef is my 5 year olds favorite food. Try the seafood pancake too if you get a chance!!! My favorite Korean food restaurant. They will be opening a new location soon! Hualapai and Tropicana!!! Yay!!! I wish these guys the ultimate in success!!!

The food is decent but the service is darn right disgusting. I’ve been here 4 times within 4 years. There is an older lady(I think it’s the owner) who is always so angry and mean and rude. She gives you the meanest look and if you ask for a refill on banchan you will see what I mean. She is definitely in the wrong business. My friend ABSOLUTELYREFUSES to eat there because of her. He liked the food but because of how he was treated he will never eat there again. He says, «I don’t want to give them any business.» So adamant and til this day has never returned. They need to rename this place to The Angry Korean Lady. So on to the food… It’s decent. I like the Meat Chun, it’s soft. The banchan is good. Recommend the sweet potato. Their portions are far too little for what they charge. Very stingy. Maybe rename the restaurant to The Stingy Angry Korean Lady.

*** Unilocal100CHALLENGE82/100*** Since we moved a year ago we haven’t really been to this side of town all that often and it’s been ages since I last been to Jun’s. I needed to reacquaint my taste buds of how good their food was and had me wondering why we don’t come more often, because not only do you get a bang for your buck here, but they serve you quality food foremost. It’s amazing that quality and prices have remained top notch despite their 10 years of success and continued growth. It’s family owned hole in the wall places such as this I like supporting as they are the ones with the most heart. They offer a lot of Korean specialties and Hawaiian fusion as well. I must admit, I’m not all too familiar with most of the Korean soups and find them intimidating hahaha probably due to the long and hard to pronounce names, but I do want to try them one of these days as they look good and appetizing. I’m up for suggestions on which I should try first, nothing too spicy, I’m a sissy when it comes to that ;) Last night we got two 2 item combo plates($ 11.95 each) First with Bulgogi and Spicy pork with fish cake and bean sprouts as sides. Hubby chose Meat chun and BBQ chicken with kimchi and fish cake. Everything tasted so good though the pork was too spicy for my taste. The Bulgogi was well marinated and mouth watering, chicken was perfect with a little char yet remained moist & juicy and the Meat chun was oh so tender and flavorful especially when dipped in the accompanying sauce. Portions are big enough that I still have some for my lunch today. I have been to several places that charge $ 3 more yet left me wanting and unsatisfied with the meal. I wish we lived closer though :(

First time trying this restaurant and the food is spectacular! If you are looking for a good asian barbecue place, Jun’s is a high recommendation! The only less satisfactory experience for me is the wait time for the food. It took a while for our food to arrive on our table but the wait was worth it because of the quality of it. Delicious food!!! I will be visiting again, most definitely!

Can’t go wrong with this place! The Meat Jun here is SOOOOGOOD! It’s thinly sliced beef fried with an egg batter. I don’t think you can get this anywhere else! The Jun’s Special comes with bbq chicken, kalbi, meat jun, bulgogi. It also comes with complimentary sides, salad, and rice. I have to say the meat jun is the best, but the other meats were tasty as well! My fam and I also got the Chop Chae and Korean Pancake. I really like the Korean pancake it’s similar to Japanese okonomiyaki and has seafood and veggies in it. Service is quick and the lady is actually friendly! This place is a must try. I definitely recommend the Meat Jun! I haven’t tried the Mandoo yet, maybe another time.

Yummy! I actually miss the Yummys back in Hawaii but this is the closest to it I can get. I like to stick to the classics of Chop chae, meat jun, soon da bu, and ALL the vegetable sides please. If you do it the right way, you order seaweed and make yourself a meat sushi. Oh plus they have the options of brown rice. Service here is very quick. You will notice, If you go to all of the festivals, as in the Hawaiian festivals, you will also find them there. This location is in the shopping center where Regal cinemas is located. Happy eating! I’m about to get my eat on

The meat jun is a solid four stars. The thinly sliced meat, covered in a nice mixture of egg batter with a bit of sweets and then cooked to tenderness. The meat jun did not disappoint, but I can’t say the same for the rest of our meal. I’m still on the fence about their dipping sauce too. The soon tofu, came out bubbling hot, but it was not in abundance of tofu and the soup was more runny because of lack of ingredients in this dish. The taste wasn’t too bad, good amount of spice, just lack luster overall. The bulgogi in my opinion is always the sweetest dish. it’s never really the best cut of meat, sometimes fatty, but then once in a while, you get lucky. I would say, mediocre for this dish. The seafood pancake was not cooked to crisp at all. The batter was too heavy, making it a mushy pancake versus a more nicely cooked, no soggy batter in your mouth feeling. The seafood was okay, but I wouldn’t order this dish again. The worst of it all, was the banchan sides. The kimchi, seaweed, cucumbers were all super dry. You can see the marinade, but it was like it was sitting there all day and just lacked the water that vegetables are suppose to have. Service can be better, but the lady has all tables to herself. I guess someone called in sick today? It’s a fairly cheap meal for Korean food. Long story short, come for the meat jun and that’s it.

This place is pretty great Korean restaurant. They offer many dishes and plates that come with rice, salad and side dishes. You get the full variety of Korean food like you would at a normal Korean restaurant except here the portion is made enough for one person. I like to go to Jun’s when I’m craving Korean food because the portion is just right for me and it doesn’t hurt my wallet. Most dishes around $ 10 compared to $ 25 at other Korean restaurant. They service like a fast food joint, but the quality of the food is excellent. I like to do a Combo Plate with Bulgolgi, Spicy Pork and Kal Bi or I’ll get an order of Grilled Mackerel. The server is very quick to run dine in and take out customers. The restaurant is located near Eastern and 215 for the residences nearby.

I can never go wrong coming to Jun’s to satisfy a quick, cheap and pretty good Korean meal. I always order their kalbi which comes in 3 pieces of thinly sliced short ribs, rice, salad and their complimentary side dishes as a staple in any Korean cuisine. The kalbi has nice charred grilled marks. It also has a marination without the sweetness over powering the meat. The kalbi compliments well with a nice touch of acidity and a little sweetness from the salad dressing. The mandoo wrapper seemed thicker than other places, but it does have a flavorful taste. The place is not that big, but still has a comfortable atmosphere feel without all the fancy décor. The staff and service are always great. This location about equals to their other location on Craig. Again, great place to dine in with good portion sizes to fill up my hunger any day of the week!

I’m not sure how this restaurant has such a high rating. Perhaps it’s for the meat dishes, none of which I tried. I had the Yukaejang(spicy beef soup) and Japchae(clear glass noodle). The Yukaejang was disgusting. It was basically spicy luke warm water. I was so confused with the ingredients they used too. It’s almost as if they ran out of what normally goes into Yukaejang so they had to improvise and put in any vegetable they could find. It had chopped carrots, shitake mushrooms, and mung bean sprouts(soybean sprouts, kkong-namul, is added in Yukaejang… Not the mung bean sprouts you add in Phở). Yukaejang should not have any of these ingredients. I think there were even chunks of boiled cabbage. Worst«Yukaejang» I’ve ever had. Japchae was oily and tasteless. The banchan was a little salty but wasn’t bad… I don’t recall the service being bad either. The Yukaejang and Japchae tasting like crap trumped any good from that restaurant. SO disappointing!

I’m definitely a fan of this place! The lady working here has always been friendly. Portions are big and the pricing is right. I’ve tried everything from the bibimbap to the meat chun to the kalbi ribs. Everything has been so good and flavorful. They give you a decent sized serving of rice, so your meat-to-rice ratio isn’t off. They have the option for brown rice as well for a small up charge if you’re watching your eating habits. They have a large variety of banchan and they give you more if you run out. My faves are the bean sprouts and kimchee. They always add that cooling effect to your hot food. Plus, the good thing about this spot is that I don’t have that bloated/swollen feet feeling after eating here since Korean food tends to be on the salty side. Like I said, I’m definitely a fan of this place. My bf is half Korean and he grew up eating traditional Korean food. And he approves of this place too. So, if you’re in the area and need a hearty meal, you know where to go.

I saw how highly rated this place was and was really disappointed by it. I don’t know how it’s rated so high. This restaurant is ran by only two Korean women who are nice but the service is very slow. I felt really bad for the table next to me because most of the group had finished their meals before the last person even got their food! My boyfriend and I waited quite a bit for our food as well even though we were still early before the dinner rush. We ordered the Seafood pancake and Jun’s combo. The texture of the pancake was too starchy and wet, the calamari was chewy and tough. Jun’s combo came with rice, salad, meat jun, kalbi, and a fried dumpling. It was mediocre to us — nothing really stood out as being very tasty. I didn’t like the texture of the meat jun much either. Each dish was about ~$ 10.95 so it wasn’t a cheap price to pay for unsatisfying food. I won’t be coming back unfortunately.
