This is the research library in the system. They have more floor space and a good selection of reference material with just the right depth. Of particular note is the reference material on history and religion. This is also a homeless shelter for individuals and families(not officially of course). Which leaves very little space to actually enjoy the material available. Everyone needs a place to go, homeless people and especially their children are included in that. The need is obvious, so is all the empty space that can provide a shelter build around the library. Although they have a great selection of reference material, much of that is available anywhere by way of the internet. There was no place for me to be able to crack open some material and spend some time in the library, so I left. I really would have no reason to return. And by no place, I really do mean not single desk or table. There were dozens and dozens of homeless people seeking shelter from the winter chill. All very sad.

Not the best library, or part of town. Nice children’s section but A LOT of homeless ppl around. Make sure you double lock your bike too! & as far as using the wifi forget it. If you are able to find a place to sit you will most likely be harassed but will definitely be ready to pass out from toxic homeless people fumes. I eould drive the extra few miles to another location if at all possible

My daughter enjoys story time at this particular library. They also have some type of summer reading program.
