Las Vegas Neurosurgery Associates PC

Would’ve given them 1 star but didn’t because of the neurosurgeon. My mom had an appointment with Dr. Blum at 3p– The whole thing just dragged and it was irritating because I got off from work earlier to pick up my mom who also got off early to make it on time.
Got there around 2:30 maybe sooner, the place looked empty only another person sitting there.
First the front desk woman automatically started speaking to my mom in spanish — seriously though it’s offensive and discriminatory to base off a persons language by their skin color. Not even a «hi»!
The wait was outrageous! No consideration or respect for people’s/appointment time. Second, after what felt like a lifetime they put us in a room only to wait even longer! The doctor didn’t end up coming in until 4p… Not to mention that he sat there wasting even more time asking us all the questions we had already answered in the paperwork they make patients fill out! Seriously. I feel for the doctor because he deserves good assistants that lacked.
I’m sure he’s a good doctor but that’s just not how it works and it should be unacceptable– I mean as a NEUROsurgeon he should have actual efficient people assisting him. I get it and respect the line of work but come on! Never in our lives have we had to wait that long to see ANY doctor! Anywhere. It’s not like if she didn’t have an appointment since weeks ago. Just excessive… I guess they just expect the patient to suck it up. Really bad for business. We ended up leaving around 5… And I’m reviewing this place a day after because I was too upset the day of. Nothing against Dr. Blum.

My 13 yr old has chairi malformation. She was down 15 mm and needed a decompression surgery. I had this myself 10 yrs ago and help others with ACM so finding a competent dr was important. Dr Blum was a charm! He was direct to the point and made sure she got all the pretest she needed w out putting us thu a whole lot of extras. He was so kind and good to my teen making sure she knew step by step what was going to happen. She has had a bunny doll since she was 2 and he even stiched it up so they would have matching scars. He was very good about leaving her hair and not shave happy. Her scar is the best I have ever seen vs thousands I have. Not only did he care for her (and myself) physically but mentally prepared us as well! I was terrified to allow my child to have brain surgery by anyone but I’m glad we had Dr Blum! Ty!
