I’ve only been at night for their happy hour, but the few times I went it was great. This is the only place I’ve been to in Vegas that has amazing Irish nachos. Be prepared to eat a lot, because they give you a ton. If you’re they’re for happy hour they’re really cheap too. I’ve also had their veggie burger and that was great as well. My Mom really enjoyed the fish and chips and she’s very difficult to please at restaurants, so that should say a lot.

This review is for 3.5 stars. McMullin’s is as good as any other Irish bar in the city. They offer the beers you would expect, in addition to a few more craft varieties. Their food is average but on par with the rest of the city when it comes to this type of fare. The 3.5 stars mainly come from two things: beer deals and trivia. They have a few deals during the week that bring the price down a few dollars to make the price very affordable compared to other establishments in the area. Next, their trivia is one of the better ones in the city. The bar gets packed and it is very competitive. The questions are not unreasonably hard(other than the music round) but good luck winning unless you’re a pro. There are upwards of 20 teams a week and usually some trivia experts who win every week. McMullin’s is still fun to come out and play trivia and drink some beer, but the restaurant itself is not a must try on its own.

Good food in big portions, live Irish music, game nights, drinks and a friendly staff. Seriously how much more can you say about a bar that does all the bar things right? This place is great. Even better if you want live Irish music.

My boyfriend traveled through Ireland and has been searching for an Irish pub with authentic food in Vegas ever since. Well, this place is his winner. I think he would sleep here if he could. Irish breakfast is delicious! Curry pot pie was great! Lots of beer selections and the live music creates a great atmosphere. The décor is a little dated, but I dont mind it at all. Sure makes me feel like im in Ireland, not Vegas!

Enjoyed the Farmhouse Irish Breakfast which consisted of eggs, sausage, Irish bacon, baked beans, grilled tomato, and breakfast potatoes. Delicious food and the coffee was delicious. The server was very friendly and worked her b*** off. Unfortunately she was the only one serving so if we needed anything we had to wait a bit. It also took a while before the cooks prepared our food. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the service wasn’t the best and because the restroom needed much attention. The paper towels were overflowing the trash can :/ The food was delicious but expect slow service in the mornings and not so clean restrooms. UPDATE: Visited the restaurant a second time and the food was delicious, once again but this time the service was outstanding. This is a nice hidden gem in Las Vegas! By the way, this place is open 24⁄7!

Friday arrived and we have wanted to try this pub. I myself was born into an Irish American clan so when someone says«Irish food» I know I can at least rely on some beer for flavor and interest. What they say about Irish food is true. Dull. We sat out on the Cameron Street patio which does have heaters. It was pleasant enough. Our waitress, Susan, was wonderful though everyone noted how overworked and under-helped she was. For some reason I felt as though I was in a dream. Guinness, which I like, was for the first time ever, lifeless and resembled a much lighter substance– water. A second beer of another type had never shaken hands with a single hop. The home made potato chips were nice. The McMullan’s meat pasty had flaky crust. Little flavor to the insides. Chicken curry pie was somewhat flavorful. Mashed potatoes and peas were ok. The stools on which we sat outside were wobbly and felt weak as though you had to remain very still. For some reason a big a$$ and his loud rowdy attention– seeking wife were just behind us. The man reached over and pulled some hair from the back of my sweater. It was very weird but we were pleasant about this intrusion. Later they tried to engage us in loud conversation unsuccessfully while others on the patio were noting their crass behaviors too. It would have been preferable to sit inside where we could have been bombarded by the live music, pushed in the ribs by the happy drinking crowd, and avoided these two dopes. The three stars are for Susan and the other wait staff who remained very pleasant and helpful despite aching feet and backs from working so hard at this place. I would not return for the food. It was hot when delivered but the next time I want watery beer and something bland to eat I can break apart a shipping box into little bites and dilute my own Guinness. Meh.

The Irish Nachos were excellent. We went during happy hour for half price apps. We got a half order of the Naxos with corned beef and we could not finish them. I would go again!

From 9÷26÷15 We came here for a bite to eat and drinks because you just can’t go wrong with pub food! There are two sections to Mcmullan’s the bar side and the dining area, so it might be confusing at first when you walk through the front which is on W Tropicana Ave. Once we were seated and had a friendly server who was very quick and attentive. We looked through the menu that had a multitude of options to choose from, a good selection of beers, plus decent wine list. I decided on the Three Cheese Burger Wrap, which is on a whole wheat with mozzarella provolone, and mixed cheese and my boyfriend got the Sheppard’s pie. Everything was delicious, cooked well, and seasoned thoroughly. I really like this place and will have to come back and try everything else.

This is my new favorite place in Las Vegas. This use to be the Iowa club and I have to admit I’m a little glad it’s not anymore. If I came here with my boyfriend every Saturday to watch the Hawkeyes play I’d be in some serious trouble! Let me start off by saying I am SO happy that they separate the gaming/smoking from the non-gaming/non-smoking side. I can finally sit at a bar and enjoy myself without having someone light up their cigarette right next to me or ask me to move so they can use the slot I’m sitting at. Now to the food! I am addicted to the Irish Nachos and lemon pepper wings. I don’t know what kind of magic they have going on in the kitchen but their wings are the best I’ve ever had. They are extra crispy, but the meat is juicy and definitely not greasy. The service is great. I truly enjoy the Irish accents all the bartenders have. And I’ll add one last thing. Do yourself a favor and get an Irish coffee. Even if you don’t like coffee. One of the best decisions you’ll ever make in your life!

I gained about a thousand pounds after having dinner here but ITWASWORTHEVERYPOUND! My SO had been raving about their sticky toffee pudding for ages so we finally stopped by when we were in town recently. Fish & Chips: YUM. Irish Nachos(half order with ground beef): YUM(too much food even for a table of 5) Irish breakfast: YUM(not a fan of the black pudding, but I don’t like blood sausage in general) Steak and Mushroom pie: YUM Sticky toffee pudding: YUM Service was pleasant and they had some good tunes playing. Would definitely come back in the future!

THISPLACESUCKS! As I sit here at McMullan’s all I can write for this review is HOWDISAPPOINTING this visit was. The server was confused most of the time and messed up our order. She fixed it but what made me upset was the fact we ordered half order of the Irish Nachos she came back and said she put our order in for a mini and if that was okay… REALLY? I ordered half bring me what I ordered! For some reason she felt like she could not fix it. Well anyway she fixed it. As for my chopped salad it was soggy and gross and the blue cheese dressing was salty and nasty. The servers excuse as to why she was messing up «people called out sick» Well that is not my problem, maybe management needs to be improved. Last visit here. DONOTEATHEREANDWASTEYOURHARDEARNEDMONEY.

Alright. I’ve made a commitment to only write reviews after I’ve visited a spot more than once… UNLESS things are so abhorrent I have to let people know. I’ve been to Mcmullan’s often enough to say I FUCKINGLOVETHISPLACE! I’ll keep it short and sweet. The staff is very friendly and quaint. The food is perfect to cure your munchies. The drinks are perfectly poured. What more could you ask for at a place like this?! This place is legit! I recommend coming here during happy hour — if you’re not a gambler. If you just so happen to be a gambler — well, my friend, you’ll be very well taken care of :-) The burgers are juicy & flavorful. The nachos — PLEASE don’t skip the nachos!!! Make sure to ask for their special hot sauce — Pepperoux’s. Everything is decently priced ESPECIALLY during HH. That is all! I wish wonderful times to those who decide to frequent this place, as I have… and I plan on becoming an actual regular! SLAINTE!

I had only been here one other time about a year ago and completely forgot how amazing the food is here. Honestly I’m not big on sausage — it’s not one of my favorites — but this place just makes it work. We ordered the Irish Sausage Rolls for $ 9 as an appetizer and the portion was the perfect size for two people. I’m not sure what exactly is in this dish but I’m not complaining. Sausage in a «puff pastry» and they weren’t joking — the pastry that this is wrapped has the perfect amount of fluff and flakiness to it. It comes with Irish stone ground mustard that I would eat with ANY meal. This dish was so easy to get addicted to. As my entrée I got the Aztec burger(8oz ground top sirloin, jalapenos, jack pepper cheese, lettuce, tomato, sliced dill pickles, raw red onions &1000 island dressing served on a bun — $ 11). The burger itself was amazing and I would order it again and again but when it comes time to eat it, it’s so big that it fell apart within minutes of taking the first bite. I guess that’s a good burger though right? The ingredients blended perfectly; it was one of the few times that I didn’t feel the need to add spice to my meal. This place is great and the waitress that served us was very nice and patient in explaining the menu to us. Also — one last thing — the inside is usually packed and STUPID loud so I recommend sitting on the patio if it’s not too hot outside(we went at 9:30 p.m.), OH! And there’s a Summer drink/food menu :)

This is a good bar, centrally located in the middle of the town. A nice stop in for drink and watch the game is good. I like how it’s set up with a smoking section and a non smoking section since every now and again I enjoy a smoke… but not always. So it’s nice to have options. The service is normally good, not fast but polite and almost always in a good mood. I first came here in 2006 and they have basically stayed the same since then, also its a big soccer bar since it’s irish… so if you’re into soccer this is your spot in vegas.

Great Vibe, Great food, great variety of beers and ales. When we went, there was a live band playing and the patrons were really getting into the swing of it. If you have a group of people, don’t forget to order the Irish Nachos. It’s huge, and for 3 of us, we ordered a half order. It was humongous! Corned beef was thinly sliced, and the stew was home-styled. Definitely not a tourist trap. It’s near the Orleans, and very quaint. Friendly staff and good portions, a definite gem.

This really hurts my heart, because I was a huge McMullan’s fan. Tuesday, St. Patrick’s day, is also my fiancée’s birthday. Every year we pick a spot, and spend all day, and hundreds of dollars drinking and eating. This year we picked McMullan’s. We arrived, and they were packed, of course. We let them know that we planned to have at least 5 – 10 more people arriving throughout the day, and we got nothing but attitude. We were seated in a back room, at a 2 person table. Ok fine, no worries… we’ll start here and then ask to move to a larger table when more people show up. No biggie. Then, we had menus dropped off, and we asked how much their pints were. «Oh…I don’t know.» *blink* You don’t know how much your beer is? So she went off to find out, and another server came over, and asked if we’d decided. My fella said«I’d like a Murphy’s Irish Stout.» «Oh, we don’t serve that in this room.» *blink* «its on your menu.» «well, THIS room is set up for Guinness. The other room has Murphy’s.» By this time, I was pretty angry, so I said: «Well, do you THINK that someone could… I don’t know, WALK to the other room and BRING us one? Its the only available table in the place, AND its his birthday, I kind of want him to have the beer he wants.» With a huge fake smile, and a «Kiss my @$$» attitude she says«I’d be happy to» Before we did though, we asked her how much a pint was. «I don’t know.» Seriously? So she came back from asking, and it was $ 8 a pint. I’m angry now. They are normally $ 4-$ 6 a pint. So then she busts out this attitude of «Well its St. Patrick’s Day» Yeah. Most bars have lowered their prices for the holiday. Instead, you have doubled yours? No thank you. As much as I love the food here, I will not be back. For a bar/restaurant to DOUBLE their prices to higher than most places on the Strip, AND to have rude service… I will NEVER go back to McMullan’s as long as I can help it. I’d rather go to the Strip to Ri Ra, where I can get good service. Greedy, greedy, greedy. You guys were packed. There was absolutely NO need to double your prices. You’ve just lost a ton of business, because everyone I have told about this has said they won’t be back either.

I don’t get over to this place as often as I would like to, but when I do I’m always happy I went. It’s always been good memories with friends as well as great food. The happy hour is half off appetizers, which makes for a pretty sweet deal as some of those plates are larger than some entrees. I have been here in very large groups and very small groups and always got great service. Solid recommendations for food and drink alike, and even got to try out their Trivia Night here. Try the potato chips with curry sauce. And venture out of your comfort zone and try a new beer. It’s worth it.

Oh My Dear God… I don’t even know where to begin. Let’s start with one word: horrendous. My boyfriend and I needed a place to eat and stay for a bit since we were just leaving the Mr. Olympia competition held that the New Orleans Hotel and Casino. Since the taxi and shuttle bus service was unbearably long we decided to be a little dangerous and cross the street in the pouring rain to this bar. After looking up the Unilocal reviews and seeing that people liked this place, we went in. I was immediately punched in the face by the awful smell of smoke and my ears bled immediately due to the bartender’s foul mouths. There were three bartenders: Jason, Chris(who was female) and some other man who looked super stressed out and had a cold. I counted 31 times they said the F word. I’m not saying I’m prude or offended, I just think it is super unprofessional. When we walked in we sat down at the bar where there were about five others sitting. It took a bartender 13 minutes to even notice us and another 15 minutes to actually get us our drinks(which I refused to drink from the straw since the female bartender«Chris» was using her hand to wipe away her runny nose continuously). My boyfriend was hungry; however, we were so hesitant to order food from this place! We waited forever for someone to come by again after our drinks were given – the standard is to give drinks and provide a menu, hello?! We had to ask the bartender Jason if their kitchen was open and he pretended not to hear us until my boyfriend stood up and called out to him, then replied with a short rude«ya.» Due to the cab wait being over an hour he went ahead and ordered a chicken sandwich. This took about 25 minutes to come out. As we were sitting at the bar I realized that the food was being placed right next to the registers when it was coming straight out of the kitchen. This is NOT good. The chef or runner was placing the food plates next to the dirtiest place in the bar – restaurant rule NEVER place food near money. GROSS. Also, I believe the manager was there as well. I wanted to so badly confront him. However, he may have had a heart attack since he could barely breathe and move about the bar. I figured I’d save my own breath and just get the hell out of there. *Note: There were a lot of regulars. If you are not a regular you will be ignored. Not matter what.

This is Vegas Baby!
