Mehndika Joey Henna

Honestly, amazing. I’ve tried paste from other companies/​artists no one compares to her cones and consistency.
Her stain is so luscious and dark and all natural. I love the variety of line weight I can get with her product and that they come small enough to handle even for a newer artist. Totally natural and safe henna.
On top of that Joey is incredibly knowledgeable and won’t hold back any information or insight. I don’t leave reviews on Unilocal often but I 100% recommend checking her out!

I use Unilocal religiously for reviews on business’. My friend was visiting from out of town and wanted to get henna. We set up an appointment for 2 people at 6pm at my place. I texted her asking if we could possibly move it to 6:30 but she explained that she had a busy schedule and that wouldn’t be possible so we kept the original appointment for 6pm.
Come around 6:10 I received a text message from her stating that she believed she was at my place and was waiting and couldn’t stay any longer because she was so booked. I then called her because I hadn’t heard my doorbell at all. She was trying to describe my doorway with brooms, that she took a picture of my doorway, and that she left her business card there and I don’t even have brooms. She kept trying to justify she drove to my place and couldn’t do it anymore when she was at the wrong place the entire time.
My biggest frustration is that she didn’t call me because her «phone died» but she took a picture of my doorway? I honestly don’t think she even came at all because the address was correct. When I was trying to ask her if she could at least do my friends since she was supposed to do both of us she kept saying she was booked the whole night and couldn’t do it because her other appointments. She still would’ve had time to do 1.
She was able to answer her phone immediately after she sent me that text but her phone was «dead». She couldn’t call me so stranded in front of a place that she «believed» was my place. Sounded like a bunch of bs. I’m sure she does good work and may be a sweet person as mentioned in other reviews but unfortunately I never got that interaction with her.
Me being in business myself, I feel like this was really unprofessional and that she was being deceitful. It didn’t seem like she legitimately cared that my friend drove all the way over to get henna from her.
I don’t usually give negative reviews but this experience was pretty bad. I’ve attached the screenshot of her text to me as well with her business number.

Well for starters, Joey is a very kind woman and has a very warm/​beautiful soul. She has this special presence about her that makes you never want your henna session to end. I found her on instagram. I really like the artistic style of henna and was trying to find someone who is more consistent then my previous artist. Joey is so precise with her lines and I’m always so happy with the outcome!!! Thanks Joey for being in Vegas and for being so awesome!!!

I found Joey through Instagram because I wanted to play with henna and it just so happened that I loved her page and how knowledgeable she was so I decided to buy some henna cones from her. She emphasizes on SAFE henna which makes me feel confident in buying her henna paste and she’s such a sweet person and I love all the inspiration and info she provides for others on her ig free of charge ! And her work is amazing ! Did I mention her henna cones stain really dark and nice ?!!

When searching for a henna artist, it’s important to find someone who is not only skilled at their craft, but conscientious of using safe products. Joey is incredible on so many levels! She’s such a beautiful and friendly person and insanely talented at her art!!! She truly cares about her clients, exemplified by her always talking about using safe henna and the differences between bad and good, and walks you through aftercare prep to maximize the life of your henna. Joey is amazing and highly recommended!!!

Joey is extremely talented, passionate, and knowledgable in henna/​mehndi!!! She has been my Instagram henna crush for months and I was so ecstatic when news broke out that she we relocating to Vegas! I was fortunate enough to «fan girl» persistently enough for Joey to reach out to me and offer me a free henna session as one of her first Vegas clients! I was beyond thrilled! I loooooove the classic mandala designs, which is her speciality and forte. Her work is flawless and she is so detail oriented that it really resonates through her work. What I admire most about Joey is her love for henna and her willingness to share and teach others her methods of safe, made from scratch mehndi pastes. It’s not very often that someone who’s really good at what they do likes to share those same «secrets», but Joey willingly shares her knowledge with the rest of us which is so refreshing! She takes the time to help people all over the world to troubleshoot their henna problems/​concerns and she personally connects with her followers. She’s amazing! I would recommend her services to anyone looking for an authentic, unique, fun, and SAFE henna/​mehndi experience!

My favorite henna artist! Adorably sweet and always willing to help. She is a perfectionist! All the people in Vegas get henna from Joey. You ain’t gonna get anything better as she is the best. All the best Joey :)

I went to Las Vegas for a day after a trip to Grand Canyon. I was so happy that Joey had time to squeeze me into her schedule! She is super friendly and has a really unique and beautiful artistic style. She cares about every line and dot in the design and the end result is just perfect! I loved wearing her art and can’t wait to go back for more!
