Got me some phở here since I was in the vicinity. The service was extremely slow, despite the place having only 3 tables filled. I’m talking, flagging down the people to order food and get water, etc. The phở was alright. The broth wasn’t anything special to speak of, and the noodles and everything was the same ‘olé. I mean, with phở, it’s all in the broth since everything else is a consistent variable, right?

It used to be that with Asian restaurants, you’d get nothing in terms of customer service. Now with the younger generation manning the front, things are starting to change. My family needed a change of pace from the heavy buffet food, so we decided to do Vietnamese. The young servers did not seemed annoyed that we altered most of our order. When my husband ordered the chicken phở with egg noodles, they didn’t blink. When I ordered my soup with no noodles, they were a little confused but went along. Initially, my family didn’t want to eat here b/c the price was a touch higher than what we’re used to and there were not that many customers. But the food was delicious and fresh and served in large portions. It was a wonderful experience and we’d be happy to return.

There’s not a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in the Vegas area, but this one is definitely a good one. The first time I went here was after a five hour hike in the heat and let me tell you. the food was like heaven… whether it was cause I was starving or whatever but it was delicious. The second time going here the food quality was consistent pretty good this time I went a day after food poisoning and wanted something easy on my stomach so this was a good option. The broth of the phở here is flavored to my liking as to some places can be a little too salty for me. They are known for their nem nuong and it’s pretty good so get some of that. Also I highly recommend their fresh coconut juice since it’s actually FRESH! They chop open a fresh coconut and give you the whole thing and that’s a thumbs up for me since I love coconut juice! Will be my go to Vietnamese restaurant when in Vegas.

Best Vietnemese in Las Vegas. They import the same sauce and ingredients from Brodard’s in Garden Grove, California(Their sister restaurant– exact same rolls, same family owners!) The sweetest and cutest servers. Just good energy whenever I go there. They always make sure my friends and I leave happy and with full bellies!

This place has amazing nem nuong, which is a pork spring roll. It also has a skinny egg roll rolled into it, which gives it an extra crunch. Delicious! Tonight I ordered the Dry egg noodle with soup in the side. It tastes just like San Gabriel Valley! Very authentic. The flavor was perfect sweet and savory. My husband ordered the banh canh which is a flour noodle soup, and enjoyed it as well. Halfway through our dinner, there was a strong sewer stench. Very off putting. But I guess you have to get used to that at Asian restaurants. We continued unphased. On this night there were no desserts on display in their fridge. I usually like to end my meal with che ba may, which means 3 colored dessert. Its a mixture of red bean, mung bean, and green jelly with coconut milk. Its very tasty! Try it if you haven’t before!

Nem Nuong Cuon($ 4.95): Grilled pork sausage, crispy spring roll, lettuce, cucumber, and carrot wrapped in rice paper. Served with house special sauce. Delicious! The translucent rice paper was softened and easy to eat and the filling was flavorful and most importantly, crunchy! I loved the textures, especially from the crispy spring roll, and the fresh vegetables. The sauce is really wonderful, too. I love peanut sauces and this one is like peanut sauce meets sweet and sour. Banh Khot($ 8.95): Translated as «Luna Rice Cake» on the menu. Mini rice pancakes with steamed shrimp, accompanied by herbs and fresh and pickled vegetables. Plus, fish sauce for dipping. These cakes are supposedly tiny versions of their crêpe-like pancakes and they definitely have the feel of crepes with more of an egg flavor. Each«cup» could have done with more than just half a shrimp, but otherwise, it’s a very tasty dish. I enjoyed topping each cup with all the fresh herbs and vegetables, then dipping them into the fish sauce. Com Tam Bi, Cha, Tau Hu Ky, Tom, Suon Nuong($ 13.95): Combination broken rice with pork chop, egg loaf, shredded pork, grilled shrimp, fried shrimp paste in tofu skin, and pickled vegetables. You can choose either Pork Chop(22a) or Grilled Chop(22b) with this combination. I asked for the recommendation of the pork chop and I was very pleased with it. The pork was flavorful and succulent. The egg loaf was similar to a frittata though it wasn’t anything special or particularly necessary to the platter. I felt the same way about the shredded pork. The grilled shrimp and fried shrimp paste were both lovely. I’m not sure if I’d like the shrimp paste by itself, but I really enjoyed it wrapped in tofu skin and fried. Overall, I liked this dish, but I’d prefer the toppings on vermicelli bowls(without the vermicelli). I enjoyed my meal, but the only standout dish was really the Nem Nuong Cuon. The rolls were delicious and I could eat several of them in a sitting! The other dishes, though good, aren’t enticing enough to return, but there are so many other dishes to try. Also, I’ll definitely look into getting a vermicelli bowl with rice instead.

Well, I am officially a fan of Vietnamese food after my second visit to Nem Nuong Bistro. I can take or leave phở, honestly, and that was really my only experience with Viet food, but here, you don’t even have to order that soup to appreciate the cuisine. On my first visit, I dined solo and had the pork spring rolls, definitely a must(Item #1 on the menu), followed by the Shaking Beef(Item #37). After having both of these delicious dishes, I was hooked. I dined here again last week for lunch with a gal pal and we had the pork spring rolls to start, of course. For my entrée, I chose Item #27 with grilled shrimp, grilled shrimp paste, grilled beef over vermicelli: so fresh and tasty! We also shared the Luna Rice Cakes(#7) with steamed shrimp and Asian greens, another light and fresh item. The thing about the food here is that you feel like you’re eating healthy because nothing is heavy on sauces or greasy. There are vegetables in everything we’ve ordered so it’s a great mix of protein and greens. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend a visit soon. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu, and maybe even their phở.

Simple upgrade after feasting here many, many times over the summer. The rolls are just fantastic and so convenient being just down the street from the Rio. It’s like my voice has finally been heard by the Gods after so many damn years. Hallelujah! Ate in many times and also stopped in randomly to grab takeout for the room and my buddies often. Never an issue whatsoever. No hassle over using the check-in offer either. Feed the degenerates and send them on their merry way. Gotta love that business model. Really no complaints if you only stick to the rolls like you should.

Upon arrival to the restaurant on a Tuesday afternoon, there were 8 dirty tables that needed to be cleaned. The bathrooms were clean which is a plus. The food was good, we ordered phở, com suon, and banh canh. They forgot to bring the basil with the phở and then brought phở broth for soup instead of the chicken for the rice plate. Food was delicious.

I like their nem nuong cuon, which is very similar to the ones I have eaten at Brodard Bistro in Westminster, California. However, the rolls are smaller and very pricey here. Since the sauce is still pretty darn good and there is no other competition, we will have to go to NNB when we crave for the rolls. My husband also got the mi nam vang, which is egg noodle with liver, quail egg and shrimp, with the small bowl of soup on the side. It was too sweet for our taste. I initially wanted to clay pot rice with chinese sausage, chicken, and pork, but they do not offer claypot. Then why was it on the menu? So, I had to go with the vermicelli with an egg roll, pork roll, and grilled pork. I must say that the meat in this bowl doesn’t compare to the quantity that I have seen at other Vietnamese restaurant. There was only shredded lettuce and scallions, no mint, cilantro, or other fresh herbs. Overall, the food was A-OK today.

One of my addictions at the moment is vermicelli bowl specifically Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio. I’ve been hitting up Vietnamese spots in town eating the same dish trying to find the best one. I’ve tried a few other dishes here and they’ve all been good. Nem Nuong is fun to say repeatedly. It’s also yummy to eat. Nem Nuong Cuon: Sausage and veggie spring rolls. They have some crunchy bits in them. Probably the best version I’ve had in town. They named the place after this dish — they better be good! 4.5÷5 Chao Tom Cuon: Shrimp/shrimp paste with veggie spring rolls. These also come with crunchy bits. I get tired of eating these, to be quite honest. So, I go back to eating Nem Nuong as a chaser. 3⁄5 Phở Tai Nam: Rare beef and flank soup with vermicelli. Fantastic broth. The portion is just right. The noodles aren’t stuck together not chewy — even when you get it to-go. 4⁄5 Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio: Grilled pork, egg rolls, and veggie vermicelli bowl. The grilled pork is so tasty and not burnt. I love the egg rolls — the meat is well-seasoned. Again, the noodles are great. 5⁄5 Also try: Shaking Beef, and Cornish Hen. The service is superb. I’ve never had a bad experience here.

I went here with my best friend. We both love to eat Nem Nuong, which is a Vietnamese grilled pork sausage spring roll with a crunch to it. The sauce is what really makes it so tasty. From the moment we walked in, we noticed the place was cleaner than other places we have seen in Las Vegas China Town. We were greeted. We ordered two orders of Nem Nuong and Bun thit nuong, which is a Veitnamese dish with vermicelli noodles, fish sauce, and bbq pork. Both dishes were meh. It could be that I am Vietnamese so my expectations are a bit high or the food simply is average. IF you are from California, where the Viet food is more authentic, then this is not the place for you. You will leave disappointed. I did not try the phở there, but that also did not appear like anything special. Overall, I would give this place an average rating. The food was edible and they tried their best to mimic what it should actually look and taste like. It is good, but nothing super special.

My favorite Vietnamese vermicelli noodle soup«Bun Bo Hue» is the best here. I enjoy coming here for this dish alone. It always good but just not enough meat. The flavor is good here. Delish!!! Tried other dishes here and pretty good. Just the Bun bo Hue is bomb here!!! Can’t go wrong w fresh coconut juice to drink with spicy soup…

For lunch on my most recent trip to Las Vegas, I came here to check out their nem nuong. They came highly recommended, but as with most over-hyped food, there’s almost always a letdown. They were pretty good, but not spectacular. I was expecting my mind to be blown! I thought the ones at Phở Bosa were better. At least this restaurant was a million times cleaner than Phở Bosa and they also had working air conditioning. For my meal, I ordered the Crispy Chicken Skin with tomato rice, but shortly after placing my order, the waiter informed me that they were out the chicken. So I went with the Shaking Beef instead. It was not bad. The portion was a little small, but it had little cubes of filet mignon. Overall, this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the Vegas area. I will definitely be coming back here in my future visits to Las Vegas. Come here if you’re tired of eating at Vegas buffets.

Whoohoo! Somewhere that has spring rolls just like Brodards?! I’ll take it! Of course phở is the go-to hangover cuisine and when you’re in Vegas, you’ve gotta stop by Nem Nuong! I heard about this place through a local and I was not disappointed by their spring rolls at least. I ordered the combo spring rolls which included the pork sausage spring rolls and shrimp paste spring rolls. These rolls are awesome and the sauce they give you to dip it in(TELLMEYOURWAYS!) I also ordered the glass noodle phở which wasn’t good ATALL. The broth wasn’t good, the glass noodles weren’t of the right consistency and the chicken was average. My friend tasted my glass noodle soup as well and said it tasted like soapy water. Service here wasn’t bad, and a check-in gives you 10% off your order or $ 30 or more! I’ll definitely be back because all my friends enjoyed their orders and it must’ve just been the glass noodle that wasn’t good. Going to stick to my usual next time, combo beef soup #1!

Swung back to pick up a nem nuong roll. I figured that if the name of the bistro is nem nuong, it should have good nem nuong roll. I would have to say that the spring roll was decent and the sauce that goes with the roll was okay however, it was not the same as brodard for those who go to orange county for the nem nuong fix. This is probably a pretty decent smaller version substitute for it. The prices on the menu when i looked were pretty reasonable. When waiting for the roll, it appeared that the restaurant was pretty clean so if you want to go to a place that is cleaner than phở kim long that is down the road, this would be your best bet. It also may be that they can keep it cleaner because they have fewer patrons that come around to this business. May consider to go back here when I come back to las vegas for other meals!

This place is good for groups. Minimal wait and the food is good. Definitely satisfies your Vietnamese craving. I think the phở is better at phở Kim long but his place has really good spring rolls. Their menu is extensive. Has everything you would want in a Vietnamese restaurant. I love their bun bo hue. It’s spicy and has depth of flavor. Their vermicelli is good too. This place even has macaroons(I haven’t tried it yet though). Prices are relatively cheap and the place is casual. They also have pretty good service too. Food comes out quickly so you don’t have to sit and starve for a bit first. Portion sizes are good too. Last time I couldn’t finish my phở and I always finish my phở.

The nem nuong spring roll was amazing. Seriously. The crunchy thing in it gave it a unique taste. It was crispy like a perfectly fried egg roll skin. It was overall delish. The banh khot(?) was pretty interesting as this was a first for me. As an entrée, I ordered the bo luc lac; it was tender and juicy. My foodie friend agreed it was good too. For the rice option, you can get the plain white rice, egged rice, or tomato version. Mine was the tomato version. My friends who ordered the banh canh cua loved their meal. I got a small sampling of it, and it was so creamy and delish. Overall, the food here was great! Service was pretty friendly as well. This place was packed to the max too so that’s a good sign. Parking was pretty okay as Nem Nuong Bistro was in a strip complex in the China Town area.

The combo spring roll was sooo goood! The spring roll skin was thin. The interior was stuffed with sausage and crispy noodles of goodness. This spring roll is not the typical spring roll you would order from Vietnamese restaurant. The fish sauce is a house special concoction and it’s D*MN goood! The luna rice cake was different then I thought. It was a fried batter boat atop with shrimp. The phở and the grilled pork chop was average. It wasn’t bad at all. I will definitely return for the spring roll… gah.

I’ll admit that what sold me to come here were the reviews saying that their nem nuong rolls were just like the ones they have at Brodard, which are my absolute favorite. So on our way out from Vegas and heading home, my boyfriend and I stopped for a quick brunch in Chinatown Las Vegas. We got here earlier than their opening – by accident because I forgot to check their hours – and they were nice enough to open up 20 minutes earlier than they needed to. We ordered the nem nuong rolls(because of course I want to know if they are just like Brodards), crispy chowmein(mi xao don) seafood combo, and broken rice dish with grilled pork(com tam thit nuong). The nem nuong rolls are not bad. They just aren’t meaty enough like Brodard so it didn’t exceed my high expectations. The meat to crunchy filler to vegetables were equal here. I didn’t get a chance to try the mi xao don because I have a shellfish allergy but it did look good. The broken rice were slightly soggy than most com tam dishes I’ve grown up eating, and portions were small. If you’ve ever eaten at Brodard and love their food, you won’t come out too satisfied here at Nem Nuong Bistro with their nem nuong rolls. The food isn’t bad but I just had higher expectations.
