I have to say the Neptune Siciety was a blessing for my family when my parents passed on. My dad died 5 years ago and my mom past 2 months ago. They both has signed up with their prepaid plan. All we had to do was make one call when it was their time and everything was taken care of for us. The Neptune Society did everything down to arranging pickup. ashes and death certificates. During such difficult times, I am very gratful that my parents make it so easy for us and carry out their wishes.

I attempted to communicate with this company for my boss, who just had a relative pass. I called several times and emailed the contact that he gave me. She never responded to anything. The women who answers the main phone line is extremely nice, however something is seriously lacking with this company. They put me is an awkward situation and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Mom signed up for & prepaid for everything when she lived in Vegas. We have since moved her to Calif. assuming we could transfer the Neptune service. According to this office & Corp. we can’t transfer it but could add the travel plan for $ 474& then when the time came we’d have to call Vegas(M-F) to make arrangements for in Calif. I called a local CA Neptune office & was told Vegas was an affiliate & we could transfer the contract. I contacted the location closest to contact Vegas to send the contract. They told me to do it so I did & Vegas said no one had contacted them but ok they’d do it. Then I get a call from some Regional Manager in Nevada who said no they can’t send out the contract. I asked for copies to be sent & he said they could be found online but without the additional $ 475 travel plan the Calif agency may charge more. This is still unsettled and I am sick to death of it. Word of caution: don’t prepay(especially Neptune in Las Vegas) unless you’re sure you’ll die in the town where you signed the contract!!! This Las Vegas office is terrible.

Mom mother told my brother and I repeatedly«When something happens to me, call the number posted on the side of the fridge and they will take care of everything.» NOT the case. Mom passed early on a Saturday and after 3 calls to the number posted within the first 24 hours, someone finally called us back. After suggesting first that perhaps we had not actually called when we said we did, and second that the«area code we phoned from was the problem» she said she would be in touch with me Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. when the officed opened. Monday morning came and went and I finally called at noon after hearing nothing from them.(again) There were many«would have been nice to knows» in that first 24 hours that simply didn’t happen. The breakdown of communication between the answering service and the actual people you need to talk to is inexcusable. Our mother’s remains arrived two days later than originally stated, which is okay but a phone call or email would have been nice. The death certificate still has not arrived as stated and again, a phone call or email would have been nice. We have previously dealth with a California office when our dad passed and that experience was much more supportive. I cannot recommend this office to handle the needful during such an already emotional time.
