What a nightmare. This is the first negative review I have ever posted and am doing so to warn others away from this company. The series of lies and two no-​shows warrant a warning. Twice I left my backyard gate open to allow access while I was gone for the day and both times were a bust. The first cancellation I was understanding about because hey, things come up. But the second time I was told they’d be there by 11:00 am and at 1:00 when I called Adam, the employee who was my sole contact there, asking him if he was there yet, he said «no but we’re on the way.» Well, at 5:00 pm he called and said the crew and him had just gotten there and, get this-«they weren’t going to have enough light to do the job.»
This was bad for three reasons: (1) I was being stood up again, (2) how stupid does one have to be to not know how the sun sets every night, and most importantly, (3) when I asked him why in the world he even considered coming that late when he had previously explained the job would take from 3 – 5 hours, he not only said, «well, it wasn’t dark 20 minutes ago when we left the last job» but also explained THE JOB WAS ONLY GOING TO TAKE 30 MINUTES so he thought they may have enough light. What? I had previously asked about the time estimate to see if the high bid he had given me was justified. He assured me the cost was reasonable given the amount of time and effort the job would take. But now it’s a 30 minute job? Adam gets high marks for being both unethical and stupid. And I told him I did not wish to do business with him at all.
But wait there’s more. The owner called me a week later asking what happened to the job. When I started to outline the chronological missteps, he kept interrupting me trying to make excuses. He never once took accountability for the errors nor did he register any dissatisfaction with the way Adam represented his business. When I ended the conversation, he immediately called me back and I did not answer the phone. I was angry and saw no point. He left a message that he «didn’t like to leave things on a bad note this way and asked me to call him back. At this point, even if he had offered me a price reduction, there was no way I was going to become a customer. I did not call him back.
But then he called me from a different phone number and I picked up. Do you think he offered me any price reduction? No! I am still scratching my head as to why he tried so hard to speak with me and ate up even more of my time saying nothing of relevance whatsoever. He didn’t even respond in such a way as to try to head off a bad review. He just made more excuses for conduct that was inexcusable. And now I am writing this long review to tell you to run, don’t walk, away from Nevada Tree.

I have been using Nevada Tree for years and have been more than pleased with them. They keep my Mexican and Canary palms looking perfect! They always show up when they say they will show up and their team is very professional. The pricing is great too.

I would recommend Nevada Tree. They are quick to respond to your calls and came out to give me an estimate on my trees with no hassle. I never felt like they were trying to gauge me with the pricing and they did a great job. They know how to trim a tree so its not butchered. I thought they were professional and their work was great.

if\when you want to get blown off and have them not show up call these clowns.
Owner was cool enuf to call and settle me down but same result — no service.
Seven out, line away. take the donts pay the field.

Called these guys to get a quote and Frank came out the same day. They were competitively priced so I gave them a shot. I needed a good size California pepper tree removed that sat alongside the pool.
Not only did they remove the tree, but they dug out most of the stump with hardly any debris in the pool. I was concerned that they might cut through the sprinkler hose that runs through the landscaping but was pleasantly surprised that they went around it.
Overall I thought they did a great job. The work was completed well and on time. I would recommend this company or use them again if needed.

Nevada Tree Service did an excellent job removing my extra-​large stump from my front yard. Not only was their crew courteous and punctual, but they removed the stump in lightning speed which made the service that much more impressive and efficient. I highly recommend this company for all of your tree servicing needs!

A whole lot if meh. I had called 2 other companies before Nevada Tree and these guys were the lowest quote so sure lets do it. Well you get what you pay for in the end. The trimming job was lackluster and I could’ve hired my 17yr old brother to do the same job they did. I never met anyone so possible fault on mine for maybe not giving more direction. But for such a good size company I figured they knew what they were doing. Nope.
I got home and the tree barely looked touched but I knew they had been out because there were branches all over the ground and leaves as well. NO cleanup job to speak of! I got a call back asking how the service was and told the lady well I’ve seen better and much better cleanup jobs, she said okay and she’d pass that onto the foreman or whomever was in charge of the job. Got a call from the guy and told him whatsup and he was a whole lotta meh. Never offered to discount the service or at the least offer to come back out to cleanup. I ended up paying the neighbor kid $ 30 to use the his leaf blower and rake.
You get what you pay for!
Also, they only accept checks… not credit cards/​paypal/​etc. It’s 2013 and almost 2014 right?
