Omelet House Diner

Warning: Lunch Review!
I didn’t make it to eat breakfast at this place, but have heard they have good omelets. I ate lunch here, it was OK. My husband and I came here around 11am and wanted to get a nice diner style sandwich. The atmospher is diner casual, and there was no wait. Lots of server’s were hustling around. The resturant was pretty noisy, wasn’t sure if that was the best bet for a hangover lunch.
We got OK food, I ordered the BLT with avocado on it. My food came out, no avocado, but the waitress noticed the problem right away and went and got a side of avocado right away. The lettuce wasn’t the freshest or best part of the head of lettuce, and they don’t offer regular french fries as a side. They have these thinly sliced wedges, that weren’t cooked at the right temperature for the deep fryer. The wedges were slimy and gooey. My husband got a turkey sandwich which looked average, but had the same nasty wedges. They charge $ 2.50 for a cup of ice tea. Our lunch was about $ 20 with a 20% discount for staying at the hotel. OK, but I would pass next time in town on going back.
