DONOTGOHERE. Unless you want to be treated badly by the troll at the front desk who guards the paperback books. I was waiting for someone to get done at the barbershop so I desided to stop in and see what was at the paperback exchange. I walked in and said hello to the troll thats guarding the books. But the troll didn’t reaspond. It just looked at me meanisingly. With its arms crossed and eyebrows judging. I said I guess you don’t want me to look at your books today troll? And walked right back out. My advise if you go here bring some gold to pay the troll toll.

Some time ago, I bought a book on line. When finished I noticed a small stamp from Paperback Exchange in Las Vegas. It just so happened we were on our way to visit LV so I grabbed the book and went looking for this store. What a great find!!! The owner was in and she’s wonderful. We watched her interact with several customers while we shopped her extensive collection of used books, all in very good shape. She was extremely kind and helpful to all of them. She even carried a batch of books out to the car for one nice lady. We brought our finds to the register. What a surprise! I was hoping to save a couple of bucks(hey, she’s got overhead, right?). Boy was I pleasantly surprised. I got at least $ 70 worth of books for $ 17 !! WEWILLBEBACK, on our next visit!!!

I’ve driven past this store many times and honestly I was never quite sure if it was still open. Many of the other units around it are vacant and it’s hard to notice unless you go by often. Well I stopped in real quick the other day because I saw an open sign and it is a cozy little store. The aisles are narrow and the books stacked high. I was looking for a certain book which they did not have unfortunately, but as I was leaving I noticed a section of an author I used to read alot so I picked up one. The price was half the original price, though I’m not sure if all books are priced this way. Many of the books are able to be exchanged for a book you bring in for them and like 1 $. Cool idea. I will stop by again.
