I ordered a pizza online flat 2:55pm. The little window popped up and said«your order should be ready by…» and a count down of about 40 minutes or so. Which is often average for the previous pizzas that I’ve ordered before this date. Well, 3:40pm rolls around and no sign of my pizza. Okay, cool… I can wait a bit longer. 3:50pm comes by and so I gave them a ring. A female answers and I query as to an estimate of when my pizza should arrive. She tells me it is out on deliver and should be there in a few minutes. I thank her and end the call. 4:00. Nothing. 4:10… At this rate, I’ve given up all hope and started watching some stupid TV show as a distraction so I stop earnestly checking my window for my food. No sign. 4:23…my doorbell rings. Great! I pay, ask for my change. And he verifies the pizza. Woops, I ordered the wrong sauce. Alfredo instead of tomato. My bad. Oh well, maybe it won’t be so bad. Delivery guy leaves. I sit down and realize… My pizza is cool. Not quite cold, as it is 85 outside, so that would be silly. And my pizza is soggy. The Alfredo sauce is chunky and grainy, as if it were not fully mixed properly. I’m greatly disappointed. I know I shouldn’t expect too much from Pizza Hut… But come on. There’s some standards! There’s two stars because at least the driver showed up and the girl on the phone was polite.
