Pulse Nightclub

Love this place! Relatively still new. Plenty of room to dance and drink prices are reasonable. Nice to have a club when your downtown. Latin night on Sundays! Yay!

We came here for a recruiting meeting to send off a coworker, as it was his last day on the job. This club is located across the street from the El Cortez free parking lot, in the old Azul Spanish-​style building.
The first thing I noticed when I walked in were the murals on the side sliding metal doors. They were dramatic murals of various people. Super cool! There were ample tvs, an ATM machine, lots of white leather booths, comfortable couches, modern throw pillows to offer pops of color, nice blue lights and a huge bar with stools. The outside area looked like a work in progress but was just as big as the inside. Once it’s done, I’m sure it will look awesome.
Cliff, the owner of the club was super accomodating. I got really intoxicated that night and ended up leaving my Ray Ban sunglasses behind. He was super nice enough to contact our party and return the glasses to me. Super thankful for that. The bartenders were really nice and prompt.
All in all, I had a great time. I think this bar is in a very odd location with respects to the Downtown scene. I’m hoping the area around it picks up similar businesses. That way they can really make a name for themselves!
