It wasn’t horrible, I just don’t go back. The food is pretty blaise. Is this like a healthy buffet devoid of salt? If you are enemies with salt, your home is called Rampart buffet. The selection is not big but it’s adequate and decent. The salad bar is nice and the staff very good.

Went for Thursday night ny deli night. It was fun to taste all the food I grew up with. While nothing warranted seconds as all buffets don’t have highest quality food we enjoyed ourselves. And unlimited dr Browns soda! Well probably be band. Waitress was very nice too :)

We ate here on December 27th, and the hostess was rude, kept telling everyone in line they were closing even though we had 20 minutes still left before 3pm and were close to the cashier, everyone in line told her that; especially since the majority of us were standing there for 20+ minutes, but she ignored us and kept harassing us say«none of you will be accepted» and shoving a buffet sign in the middle of the line to stop us from entering… This is the most unprofessional and disgusting abuse of power I’ve seen from an employee, and the buffet supervisor was standing nearby and didn’t say a word to this hostess… management should be fired as well as this psycho hostess(short older Asian lady) I wont be returning here, the food was not even worth it, barely a selection.

Had lunch here, food was not great. Most of the selection was filler items. Food was kinda cold and the overall selection was small. The deserts were just a assortment of store bought pies u see at every low cost buffet. Price was high at 16 $. The ice cream and sandwich bar was good.

The staff were really nice. The food though, was all luke warm. The ribs looked like they had already been cooked, sat out all day, then put back out when more needed to be replenished. The deserts where good though and looked fresh. However everything else was sub par. *If you stay at the JW Marriott they provide a $ 5 discount.

I’ve lived in Las Vegas ten years and have been to every buffet there is, red rock, Texas Station, fiesta, alianta, rio, Caesars, etc. Then one night me and my husband wanted to try something new, somewhere we hadn’t been, so I suggested the Rampart casino buffet, it happened to be a Saturday which is steak night all you can eat for $ 16.99 with your rewards card, which you can get there free, the best buffet hands down, prime rib and many other cuts of steak, and Friday night is all you can eat seafood for $ 19.99, weds BBQ night, the first time i went was three months ago ive been going at leat 4 times a month especially on Saturday id highly recommend this place, plus the deserts crème brule, panacotti, cheesecake omg delicious if you haven’t been here go I guarantee you will go back

Went on a regular Thursday night and the food was blah. Nothing was really good it was just blah. Service is great people were friendly and kind Mrs. Bing(a server) was one of the nicest people ever. Really went out of her way to provide GREAT customer service.

We went to the Saturday brunch and were pleasantly surprised. The food was good — no it was above good — even had lamb which we had never seen at a buffet in Vegas. I had an omelet made for me and it had to be the best omelet I had ever had. The service was excellent, and for the price it surpassed all our expectations. This buffet I will definitely be returning to.

I gave this place another try on Wed for lunch much were changed the food was good better than usual. the place was clean the desert section was new and very organized and they had new deserts that were very good. The food was fresh. I guess they have new chefs now. The price is very good too. I recommend this place. For a long time I was giving this place one star but now four star. Not there yet for five star.

Dinner = very expensive, very limited offerings(Chinese, Italian, and American) as compared to other Las Vegas buffets

Better than average buffet but not one of the better ones. The little desserts were good. Otherwise frozen veggies, fried crap and cheap meat and fish overcooked. Decent salad bar and their special nights bring out the good stuff. Ask for the Player’s Card rate because the regular rate is a rip off. Service is ok but oriented toward the geriatric crowd.

This is the first time that I have ever given a restaurant a 1 star and a 1 star is absolutely to high for this buffet! JW Marriott should be ashamed of themselves to even have such a buffet open! But, we should have known when the players card representative told us, «Oh yeah, y’all came on a good day to try the buffet!» Rampart Buffet is one if not the top three worst buffets in Las Vegas. It was so bad, I don’t even know where to begin. Well, we went for brunch on a Sunday and we paid $ 14.99. The buffet is VERYSMALL!!! So, let’ begin: the waffles were hard and lacked flavor, the pancakes could have been used as table coasters, the bacon and sausage had so much grease, you could have poured it into your gas tank and drove back home. The salad bar… what salad bar! I saw a bar with lettuce, and dressing(cheap dressing at that), and it was over. Next we tried the hot food station, which contained Prime Rib, Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, and corn. But oh lord, I would have rather eaten the food from a nursing home or Shady Pines than eat this food. Who even ate mashed potatoes that had to be scooped up with an ice cream scooper and then it just ran onto your plate? I had to use the corn to make it thick again! Now the servers were kind, and they worked very hard. But I would suggest them finding another job, because this place is about to close or it should. Overall, I would recommend going to Silver 7 Casino before coming here.

I am writing this as I listen to the dim hum of the dining room. Here’s what I noticed. Nothing is really hot, it’s warm. The life of a steam table pan I guess. It’s 112 outside so I’m not down for a heavy meal. I tried a bite of prime rib, two bites of yams, and four bites of stuffing/dressing. All of it warm. IMO the salad bar is the saving grace. If they had a buffet only for salad, I’d be down. Desserts, lots of choices, noticeable for lots of sugar-free choices. That’s a plus. My wife reports that the pizza & steamed broccoli were good. Here on a Tuesday, not one of the«special nights», about $ 15/person. Pretty average, neither exceedingly good nor is it terrible.

Yikes, went for Brazilian BBQ night(despite the Unilocal reviews) This is equivalent to Terribles Buffet back in the day but at 4x the price. $ 21.99(but we had a buy one get one that came in the mail). The Highs: –It’s close to my house without having to deal with a «real» buffet on the strip w traffic, etc… which is why I think it gets customers in the door at THAT price and with THAT food. –The tandoori chicken was decent and somewhat authentic The lows: –Very cheap meat(brisket and some other hunk of beast next to it) –No steak… not even a sirloin cut? $ 21.99 and it’s Brazilian night… throw something out there –Egg drop soup was watery –Chicken noodle soup was too salty –Limited ingredients to make a garden salad… tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, cheese and dressing… no croutons, no onions, no carrots, no broccoli –Limited options and since nothing was excellent, I didn’t leave stuffed If you come here for dinner without any kind of deal in your pocket, run!

Worst EVER buffet meal in 20 years in Las Vegas. Soups [vegetable, egg drop] had no flavor. Spaghetti and meatballs barely passed. Pizza was chewy, very chewy. Prime beef was anything but prime. Soft ice cream was TOO soft, cookies so hard that Arnold Schwarzenegger would have issues(this from banter around the dinner table). I won’t even get into the construction traffic issue. As a veteran, I had better meals aboard ship and advise my fellow vets to avoid the 2 for none deals, it’s not worth it. Now, the service. …can’t complain about it. …there barely was any and when there was, it was late and not needed by then.

Went to the Wednesday night brazillian buffet @ $ 20pp and it looked delicious so, we had to try it out… I had a salad to start. Pretty good. I then proceeded to go and get my plate for the dinner portion… BECAREFUL. CAUTION:.there is a 4″ floor stripping that goes across connecting the busy looking carpet to the hard tile that has a 15° angle to it. It blends in with the busy carpet and if your shoes gets on it, its gonna cause a sprain to your ankle and possibly a head injury from hitting the salad bar granite counter top. This happened to me. I had reconstructive ankle surgery back in Aug. 2014 and you guessed it. my boot hit the strip. Sprained my ankle and ended up in an ambulance to the Summerlin Medical Center and followed up with my doctor in Atlanta, Ga. I had a party of 8. The manager was not concerned about me. They didnt even pay us back from not eating. I ended up paying $ 20 for a salad. I seen lots of «older» people in here with walkers and canes, my husbands one of them, could have broke a hip if he had hit it. The casino has still failed to fix this or claim the fault. I urge people to be cautious. I will NOT be returning to this establishment.(see picture of the strip between the carpet and the tile)

Excellent Saturday morning buffet. Everything from Chinese food to breakfast. Lots of champagne too. Perfect service. Tasty desserts including gelato. Muscles were great, prime rib rare and lean. Turkey a bit salty. Fried chicken light not greasy. Oh the mashed potatoes creamy. We were a party of three, got there the moment they opened. At 5:30 I am still stuffed!

We have been going to the Rampart Buffet for quite a few years, and had always enjoyed it, but this last visit will be our last. The only good thing on this visit was the dessert offerings. It was supposed to be «Steak & Shrimp Scampi night», so we were all looking forward to dinner. When we arrived, the Shrimp Scampi was actually a pasta dish, with a few mushy, overcooked shrimp and a very bland cream sauce. The«steak» was actually Prime Rib, which looked as if it was left over from the previous night. The whole roast was a sickly grey, and there was no possibility of getting a rare or medium rare piece. The pork spare ribs were all fat, the cottage cheese at the salad bar was spoiled, pineapple was dried out, and when I went to get horseradish, there was a huge, black hair wrapped around the bowl of the ladle. I could go on… Really disappointed. This used to be a nice place to get a well cooked buffet meal, but now it seems to have turned into the stereotype for a poorly maintained buffet :-(.

I seriously don’t understand why people rate this buffet so low? Its not a snobby 50 $ buffet, its an inexpensive buffet with food that actually tastes good. We came here Friday for lunch, since we thought they offered breakfast which they don’t. I had a free coupon for a buffet and with your card its only 7.99(6.9950+), only 1 discount per card though. Without the free players card its 9.99. Dinner is various prices because of the variety of special nights they have. Sun-Tues is 13.99 with card and 15.99 sans card. The lunch offerings are typical but delicious. I’m not the best person to go to a buffet because I usually eat few things, but here I actually tried a lot of different foods. My favorite was def the gyoza, it was deep fried but perfect. It wasnt oily or anything! They also had my fave chow fun. The fries here are also seasoned perfectly. The beef stew was delicious, as was the spring rolls and pizza. They have a great salad bar here with many fresh fruit options including pineapple! We also went to the champagne brunch on Sunday which is super cheap! 12.99 with card, 14.99 without!!! Unlimited champagne, apple crêpe things, leg of lamb, prime rib, fresh fruit, and omelets! In addition to all the other brunch foods. They also have espresso machines and a great dessert area. The best part of the buffet is the customer service! Our servers on both days were so awesome and perfect! Its hard to find a good happy server, but Rampart did! They were both enthusiastic and attentive. I’m a little bastard and ask for different drinks and both were totally nice and ok with it. Next I want to try the steak night, and possibly NY deli. Please dont come here and be a douche expecting Bellagio style food. Its cheap, fresh, delicious, and the servers are awesome. Dont be a hater! Yay!!!
