Sandwich

The store is closing. The large white sign on the wall in red lettering «Everything is $ 15.00» caught my eye.
We went to the mall twice in the past seven days, but I actually went in to browse. And I found two pieces that I really liked. Clean lines, simple design, but feminine (reminded me of a SF brand CUT LOOSE), and the medium fit me just right (in women’s/misses sizing, I am a medium). This brand of clothing is from Amsterdam. I liked some other pieces but I was trying to keep to a budget (not done christmas shopping). I was asked if I tried the clothes on because this was «Final Sale.» I replied, «I’m pretty much a medium, so that’s ok.» A bonus is you get a reusable tote with the company logo, of course.
There were a few other customers besides me. The racks were well-​stocked and everything was in good order. There were a couple benches to sit for those who were waiting for their companions.
There were two ladies working. One was a seasoned sales clerk and was not in the greatest of moods. For example, a customer was inquiring about prices, and the lady answered «everything’s one price, and it’s on the wall, right there.» When I was telling my husband about that, he said «she probably got asked that question so many times, and plus, she probably doesn’t even care, because she’s losing her job.»
I might stop a few more times in the coming weeks, to see what’s left, or if there are any further reductions.

Absolutely my FAVORITE store in town! It’s the ONLY one in the US, so I go there monthly to see what’s new. The turn over inventory very quickly, so if you see something you love, get it, because it probably won’t be there later. The staff is very helpful, especially Holly. The clothes are very versatile, casual, work, going out. They also sell accessories and shoes!
