Let me start off by saying I love credit unions in general, I’ve had CU accounts my whole life (albeit in NY state) & have appreciated the fact that generally you keep $ 5 in savings & your accounts (checking included) remain open.
At this particular CU when opening the account they charge you a $ 10 membership fee, then the $ 5 in savings is required. I’ve never heard of this cockamamie BS — though it’s marginally better then another CU where you have to have a min balance of $ 500! In any event I originally started using this CU because I still have CU
accounts in NY & as this is a shared bank I can make deposits to my other accounts. The biggest problem we have is lack of communication. My husband has EXCELLENT credit & the idea was that he would switch out higher car payments to the lower interest accounts listed on the advertising. The lady at the counter was supposed to call us today, haven’t heard a thing from her. So I called and ended up talking to some bozo in God knows where! After irritating my husband to the edge of insanity by her incessant’s (I’m surprised she didn’t ask for his blood type! She finally comes back & says «we have a counter offer for you». WHAT??? So then my husband asked about the loan they advertised and the woman says «well, you weren’t approved», HUH??? Not approved for the lower interest loan, but approved for a «counter offer»??? They get you in the door «promising» great rates, but it’s BS! As I said my husband has EXCELLENT credit! So what’s the deal??? One of the worst CU’s I’ve EVER dealt with!!!

My husband and I have switched to this bank about 3 years ago and it has been the best move we ever made! Everyone at this bank has always gone out of there way to help us make good financial decisions. Big shout out to Sabrina as she goes out of her way to help us with getting rid of our debt and securing good auto loans! Every time we go this location it is so easy and stress free! We highly recommend this bank!

We have been a member for almost 5 years now. We have had 6 car loans with SCE and LOVE this location. I can tell you that if it wasn’t for this great team we would not be a member with SCE. They are AMAZING! Sabrina, the office manager will go out of her way to help you. She has been the main reason why we have stayed with them and the main reason we keep going back for car loans. They are very professional and they always have smiles on their faces!!!

After having been through a few national banks I have finally found a great branch with amazing tellers. SEC is a great bank that offers amazing service with great banking options. I literally have had nothing but great interactions with this branch.

Horrible. This a bank that is completely unprofessional. For starters they only have two locations, business hours only (3pm!) and no drive thrus!!! They told me not to worry about it because I could use their «shared branches» and they’re just the same. Well I deposited cash into a shared location purposely cause I needed the funds available right away, only to find they put a five day business hold on my cash. After arguing with an incompetent banker her claims were that I deposited to a «shared location and that’s not our bank and your account is new.» I got lucky that I called back and got a guy who after I sent my ATM receipt showing it was cash lifted it. Not to mention I got a ton of late fees from my bills I was trying to pay that were rejected. Thanks but no thanks, stick to reputable bank. Worst banking experience ever!

This location is horrible. I agree with the other review. Know your business or get out! The girls there have made numerous mistakes with simple transactions on mine and my family members. When pointing it out they get defensive and blame the system or ourselves! I gave up dealing with this nonsense. I now drive across town to the Sahara location where the employees are experienced. I’ve been working in banking for over a decade so their excuses are lame.

What a day, I can see why the banking institution is getting very low ratings.
You go in and one ends up haven to talk to the manager!
Have you ever herd of the saying (the lights our on and no one is home?
This branch is in the same building as NV energy, so one would think they have the (power) to make sure the employees have there lights on, not so.
If your going to be in business, know your business or fine a job that you know how to do.
I can see why this young lady is not doing Real Estate business even though she has a Lic. to do so.
Irwindale, don’t cover-​up for your help it only make you look like your in the same BOAT!
One more thing, don’t through your fellow employee under the BUS if they have already been ran over by a TRAIN.
