Even though they accept my insurance their Dr on site is not a member so they wanted me to go somewhere else. If you take the insurance you should not turn us away. Clearly understand now why they have so many bad reviews.

This is the 2^nd times they lost our appointment, what’s worse the new receptionist was rude about it. Both time we have proved our appointment, time to find another spot.

I brought my daughter in for an eye exam and order glasses the lady giving the exam was not too friendly with my little girl she has a few issues and the lady didn’t have much patience for it… Not a good place for kids… When I went to order the glasses I was simply presented an amount that I owed after my insurance with no break down explained to me. It was more than I expected with some add-​ons that were not explained or even okayed until I asked why there was an extra amount… It was uncomfortable may not go back…

I was quoted $ 80 for an eye exam at my old optometrist (with insurance) and because they had lots of extra fees that apparently weren’t covered by my insurance. I called Sears on a Saturday around 2pm was able to get in that same day at 5pm and paid $ 60 (exactly the co-​pay of my insurance). The optometrist was very friendly and knowledgable. I ordered my contacts through the optical center next door and received them within a week. Very fast, great service, no wait and no issues.

Had my eyes checked at Sears Grand Canyon by Monica the prescription she gave me was way to strong, the glasses came back and I could not see she told me to try for at least 10 hours I did and could not see anything went back to her she tried to tell me I was wrong and that what she gave me is what I need she had a attitude said OK will write you one for your old prescription if that’s what you want I said I just want to be able to see she continued to write old prescription she handed it to me I took it and left what a waste of time don’t waste yours

The optometrist was nice but so disappointed with the front desk receptionist, made an appointment for contact lens fitting for a young boy and it will be his first time to wear contact lenses. He needed the fitting lesson with the optometrists. He also needed dilation. Came to the appointment and the appointment was not blocked correctly, optometrist didn’t have time to do the fitting lesson. The guy at the front already charged us for the contacts fitting and the lesson before the service was provided. Ended up not having time for a fitting lessons and didn’t get a new pair of contacts either. Had to reschedule and got a refund, I didn’t understand why they had to charge me first before making sure everything can be done today.

Took my son in after a quick check with pediatrician for headaches. Typical 10 year old always using tablet. His headaches would usually begin after 1^st period– he sits in the first seat closest to board.
Optometrist advised me (prior to exam) that there was prob a medical issue & I should push the pediatrician to explore why he was getting these terrible headaches. I was an ophthalmic nurse for 6 years so I didn’t panic. Hey she’s only an optometrist. After exam she realized — you guessed it– he needed glasses
Unfortunately I decided to fill prescription at Sears. Please note the staff was delightful to work with. Not much of a selection but we found a pair. I was told glasses would be ready in 1 week. 11 days later I get a call. They’re in with a scratched lens. They need to be re-​ordered.
As much as I hate going to Walmart that will be my next choice. At least they are quick & have a large selection of frames. Pearl is pricey but glasses are ready in an hour.

Ladies here are nice and straight to the point. Don’t talk much but get the job done. They looked up my insurance and made sure I understood everything and got what I wanted. Ordered everything and got it done within 15 mins. Easy and fast, no wait or fuss.
