Nothing has changed… except they seem to be stocking more natural poultry. But for a busy store shelves are not stocked. Always out of more than half of what we need. My bug complaint is the return area is same place people get money orders and pay bills do you have stand waiting. Its ridiculous! I’ve walked out w returns and had to keep them in the trunk. Then I have to argue about how long its been. They need to break it up by simply open the second register and let floor mgr assist on occasion but it seems that would be beneath them. Doesn’t the customer come first?

Shopped a full cart. Headed up to the front and all of the cash registers were down. The store looked like a line for a Disneyland ride to check out. Shoppers were abandoning their carts and walking out. Horrible customer service when there was 60 + people waiting to check out. The line was wrapping around the store. Horrible customer service in the aspect that they should have noticed customers when they walked in that the registers were down. As we walked out even more people were walking in.

Decent place with a wide variety to choose from. The store reminds me of a cross between walmart food section and a trader joes. I came here looking for a few items that weren’t located at the local walmart or trader joes and Smiths had them. It is a bit pricey on some things but I don’t do the majority of my shopping here. The place was clean and isles were clean so I do not have any complaints there. They also have two redbox in the front of the store which is nice as it’s nice to rent a movie after shopping for groceries. I didn’t think a store like this would have a candy isle but they do. I know this doesn’t matter for most people but I love candy!

This store was featured on Gross Grocers. They have a rat and bug infestation. I stopped shopping here before this news story came out because every time I got home there was at least one item of food that was spoiled. One time, when I opened a box of frozen organic chicken breasts, the individually wrapped packages were opened. Looking back, I think they were chewed. Stay away from this Smiths.

Nice and friendly staff, the stores and isles are clean and stuff is where they are suppose to be! Going in after Christmas, I thought the store would be messy and dirty but it was the total opposite! Produce, breads, and food are fresh and abundant!

Been coming here for seven years. Everyone is very nice. Guys in the butcher shop are great. My only complaint is the baggers… can you guys get any lazier? None of them will bend over and place heavier items on the bottom rack, which means they just place bags on each other and items get crushed. The kid I had today was moving so slow the checker had to start bagging. They bag chemicals with food which when I was a bagger if you did that you would get fired. Overall good store but management needs to give these youngsters a bagging class.

Here is from that olive stand that you all love to get your assortment of olives from. That’s mold and old olives

Great store, great staff. Sometimes shelves are not fully stocked in the evenings, but there are always plenty of friendly employees to help and go find what you are looking for. The employees are also always very knowledgeable. The only thing I wish they had was a full butcher shop. I’m a vegetarian, but my husband and son are not. I like to get them very thinly sliced ribeye to make steak sandwiches with and I can’t get it here. The meat department cannot slice anything in store. I love the Simple Truth and Simply Organic lines and also the growing health food and organic produce areas.

Love the convenience of this location but the quality of employees have gone downhill! Its like a collection of people who hate their jobs and some powered supervisor or manager making their lives miserable. Overall the store is clean and usually have what I’m looking for. The gas rewards program is also one of the major reasons I shop at Smiths in general. If you know how to play the system right, don’t even need to spend money shopping to get free points!!!

Their pharmacy is full of legit the dumbest human beings on the planet! Avoid!!! It’s been 2 weeks of them telling me they can transfer my prescriptions to their location and each time one of the girls messes it up and it doesn’t happen. Now my prescription isn’t at the old location I used before and it isn’t here! And the woman on the phones excuse today«well it’s too expense for us to have here so we can’t fill it» what kind of response is that! Do yourselves a favor and avoid this pharmacy they are full of idiots who purposely want to ruin your health. They should all be fired. 4 attempts made and not one told me that until the phone. Shouldn’t that have been the first thing I was told so I would have just kept it at the other location? Instead im going to get extremely sick now and have to wait another week for my prescription to be filled at the old location who SENT it to this one and is puzzled as to why they won’t do it. Ridiculous. Learn how to do Your jobs. If I could leave zero stars I would. Fire everyone in the pharmacy or you will lose even more clients I assure you

This is our preferred go to for all groceries. If you are from the southeast and new to the area, this is the place you can find some of the items that you cannot find anywhere else in Vegas. Smith’s is owned by a southeastern chain(Kroger) so they stock many items we have missed since moving. They also have a fantastic gas points program and their gas is fairly priced. One major thing I want to mention here are the cakes. For my son’s 6th birthday I looked many places for cakes. Every place I went they want ridiculous amounts of money($ 150-$ 200) for the cake I was looking for. I went to smiths and got exactly what I wanted for $ 29.99. And the icing was so much better than most of the places I had been that wanted to charge me outrageous amounts. Smith’s is now my bakery of choice.

This is a nice grocery store. Generally clean, and usually always in stock with everything. I love smiths sales. And also love the fact the more I shop the more money I save in gas with my rewards. My family and I really benefit from the reward points toward gas. I really wish their seafood was more fresh the smiths in southern highlands has better Seafood in their meat department, so we usually go to southern highlands smiths for our seafood. The cashiers are friendly. And they know us very well due to the fact we go here often. It’s always nice to go somewhere that everyone knows your name.

I stop by here earlier to buy groceries and I past by there pasteries department and I just couldn’t help my self so I bought one of their gourmet cupcake. I have bought cup cakes and other types of pasterie before, but never in there gourmet sections and have always loved them especially the cheap prices, this was no exception. I’m only giving this 4 stars because even though the cupcake was moist and the icing had an actual delicate flavor of chocolate and caramel. The cupcake it self tasted like a typical store bought cake which reminds you of those box cake you take home and bake. Still it did not taste like a typical supermarket cupcakes which has icing that are to sweet because all you can taste is the overuse of confectioner sugar not naming names…“wallmart” lol.

Is it weird I am reviewing a grocery store? I think NOT! Haha how many times are we here anyway, I know I am all the time! I have an excuse though since I have a three year old!(Right that works!) The new Smiths on Decatur and flamingo has got to be my favorite even though I can’t find its location here –probably bc it opened this year? It’s very clean and there is always a security guard who remembers you and helps everyone! The main reason for this review was I went to grab a couple things right after the mayweather pac fight and it was EMPTY! The store was empty in beer and parking lot but it worked for me because the store was all to myself! And did I mention this was the second of the month, I never go shopping then bc it’s when everyone has the food stamps and they use hundreds worth, basically clean house! Side note: I don’t always enjoy smith’s pricing on food but just check there ads they usually have good pricing on water and fruit. The other pricing reason I go to them is their diapers are about the same price as Walmart, without the long ass lines! I buy size 6 for $ 16.99 for 80? I believe? Don’t quote me on that lol

Good selection, almost always fresh produce. Friendly staff who do focus on short lines at the register. Two biggest drawbacks: 1-Bagging cold food with warm food, and cans with bread just doesn’t work. This location consistently makes de-bagging a bit of a nightmare when you get home. Even when I ask them to be more careful, you wind up with a a random, unfriendly packing. I’d rather wait in a longer line if it meant they’d pay more attention to bagging. 2-They are consistently out of many stock items that honestly they should have on the shelf. Kids snacks, cereals, yogurt etc. If you’re consistently selling out of something, consider ordering more or at least more often? An alternative is opening soon about the same distance from my house. These two items may force me to switch stores.

Ok, I have now been here a sh*t ton of times since my last review. Why, Mike, why? Why would you keep going back to this store when there is an Albertsons and WalMart a few more miles up Rainbow Blvd? Well, because many times I am feeling like a lazy sh*t and don’t feel like going any further than I absolutely have to! But still. –why in the blue hell is this place always sh*tballs crazy busy in the parking lot? Tuesday afternoon. Busy. Friday night. busy. Sunday morning. Busy. ??? — man, practically all the cashiers I have encountered are grouchy as all get out. If it’s that bad, quit. Damn. The ones that act like emotionless robots are the better of the bunch. — still no bargain in prices. I really need to take my lazy ass up to WalMart or Albertsons, where prices are generally better on nearly everything I buy on any kind of regular basis. I’d say about 70% of my visits here are for the redbox(es) in the front of the front of the store. The redbox provides better service and less depressing attitude than a good portion of the employees here. All other visits are made strictly based on the close proximity of the store to my home and my laziness to travel beyond. I do not care for this place very much… but I have my unmotivated and lazy moments… so I’m sure I will continue to endure this place from time to time. 2 stars… still…

This store is good for getting gas and gift cards. As far as getting groceries, it varies on whether or not they will have what you are looking for. This is a very busy place as well. Like the Starbucks in there.

Stopped in here on Sunday morning after the Thai food fair at the Chaiya Meditation Monastery… the last Smiths we went to didn’t have frozen Tilapia, and we needed to pick some up. This location is a lot cleaner, and much more organized than some other locations that I’ve been to. Their seafood selection is wonderful, and everything looked fresh. The produce looked great, and they were fully stocked, too, which is unusual for me to see. If this location was closer, I would go there all the time.

Unfortunately there’s no nearby Sprouts, Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s near my new place so I’m relegated to shopping at this Smith’s for most items. In general, it’s easy enough to get in and out of, but my main issues are that 1. Organic produce selection is severely limited. 2. Hand baskets are not easy to come by. What I do absolutely love is their clearance selection. I got an iHome speaker for $ 5 to hook my phone up to. I almost died. I also love to stock up on their super marked down makeup. I refuse to say which brands to protect my secret stash! If Smith’s would up their organic selection, I’d definitely be a happier camper. Until then, I’ll keep running here for odds and ends but will continue to shlep the 9+ miles to the closest Trader Joe’s and Sprouts.
