Shoe shining is definitely a lost art. This place is great, always friendly and worth every cent, I always make sure to tip $ 10 for the great service and a smile. Next to Michaels, this is a great addition to a good night out.

South Point is my usual stomping ground. I have been there countless times. I was in need of a shine before dinner one evening and finally stopped at the South Point Shoe shine to use their services. I have been back 3 or 4 times since first experiencing their services. The workers were friendly and will either engage in conversation with you, or let you read the paper/play with you phone and mind their business. That to me besides the quality of their craft is something to me that always sets shoe shines apart. I cant remember the names of the other gentlemen that I have received shines from but on a recent visit I had Bernard taking care of my shoes. He wasn’t fast but he was meticulous in his detail to my shoes, without me asking for any special service. He was pleasant to converse with, and my shoes had not looked as good as they did since I bought them. If I am going to dinner in the area I plan to stop in just to maintain the shine on my shoes. They know their craft. Prices are typical of a casino. $ 7 for leather shoes and the price increases to about $ 10 for exotics(ostrich, gator etc) Located right next to Michael’s Steakhouse and at the bottom of the escalators to the bowling alley.
