Southside Bar

My husband and I were walking through the Wynn and Encore looking for a bar to watch some March Madness games. We stumbled upon Southside Bar at Encore and cozied up to the bar when we saw that of the four TVs behind the bar, three were showing basketball games! Score! As is the case with the rest of Encore, red is the dominant color at the bar due to three large super glittery red rose petals that adorn the wall over the TVs. Not my taste and anywhere else it may be a bit tacky, but, hey, it’s Vegas!
The two bartenders that served us while we were there were very friendly and attentive, even though the bar was completely full due to March Madness and golf. We only drank beer, but our Fat Tire and Bud Light drafts were $ 6 each which we thought was super reasonable considering a plain soda will run you $ 4.50. Just Even though there is video poker available to play at the bar, your drinks are not comped… that didn’t matter to us because we were there to just watch sports and have a few drinks while relaxing.
If you are walking through Encore or staying at the hotel, this is a cute bar to grab a drink or two.
