I used to be regular here for gas, because this station is the closest one to my house, but that was when I didn’t use mid-grade gas at Shell or Chevron(besides the occasional drive-through car-wash and sometimes, air for the tires at seventy-five cents). There are some strange types here, but it’s fine during the day. The inside(mini-mart part) is similar to any 7 – 11 store, offering snacks, drinks, and the usual suspects(ie. colorful characters). This place is not usually very busy, maybe a handful of customers, at one time, so you can get in and get out pretty fast. More recently, we came here for a drive-through car wash(the 5 digit code appears on the receipt) for $ 6.00, a basic one. My car was quite dusty and dirty from not getting washed for weeks(there were many chances of rain since monsoon season started in July), but there wasn’t a build-up of bugs, so it wasn’t in need of a deep cleaning. It isn’t cloth strips here, but it’s the red rubber strips. The only thing that bothers me, is the super short 60-second drying period, at the end. But then again, we don’t have any hand-wash places nearby, except across from UNLV, and I won’t trust those towel-spinning people(attention– getting) operating in nearby parking lots(7 – 11) either, so this isn’t bad for six bucks. I’d come here again, mostly because it’s convenient. Well, my husband finished it off– the wheels and the windows, when we got home, so my car was sparkling clean(for a week, since it rained just enough to get a little spotty).
