Stayed here July 2014 for one night en route to the Midwest. The campground is small and the sites are fairly close together, but each has its own shelter. A short walk to modern bathroom and hot showers, closer in are a few pit toilets. The campground host was helpful and allowed me to move down a few sites. The campground is not too far off the road and there is housing backed up to some of the sites, including a yappy dog. But I moved a few sites next to a farm setting with lots of animals and wildflowers as my neighbors. There appeared to be some primitive campsites available toward the lake, but I had already reserved online. I did not verify. Quiet hours enforced. I would give it a higher rating except for proximity to road and yappy dog/noise from neighbors outside of the park just across the fence. Next time would pick a site on the lake side.
