Storrie Lake State Park

Stayed here July 2014 for one night en route to the Midwest. The campground is small and the sites are fairly close together, but each has its own shelter. A short walk to modern bathroom and hot showers, closer in are a few pit toilets.
The campground host was helpful and allowed me to move down a few sites. The campground is not too far off the road and there is housing backed up to some of the sites, including a yappy dog. But I moved a few sites next to a farm setting with lots of animals and wildflowers as my neighbors.
There appeared to be some primitive campsites available toward the lake, but I had already reserved online. I did not verify. Quiet hours enforced.
I would give it a higher rating except for proximity to road and yappy dog/​noise from neighbors outside of the park just across the fence. Next time would pick a site on the lake side.
