Sunrun

Things started decent with these people but it started to take a downturn after I had the install done. Unfortunately the corrupt puc also changed my terms after I signed a lease. However due to this Sunrun has basically vacated the state. Unit has been connected for over a week now and it’s not generating power. Due to the tech that cannot get things done. F this company.

The rep came to the house and spent 10 minutes telling me about the program and we scheduled a call for two days later to get more information and pricing. The rep gave me a card with the time of the call and I even received a text reminder. One week later and still no call…

We have an older house that is built in the 60’s. From the very beginning we were told that it was not going to be a problem. The first rep we had was awesome. She was very attentive and informative. All appointments were scheduled to our convenience. We were told that if anything needed to be upgraded that we would not be coming out of pocket for anything. This conversation took place and our first appointment was in July. The first appointment required an inspection before work could be done. The inspection was done and the Sun Run guy said we were oaky and work could proceed. This is where everything falls apart. Our rep scheduled the installation of the panels. Panels installed then we lose all contact with sun run for 2.5 months. After countless calls and no positive response we finally get a call from sun run, a electrical contractor has to come out to replace the circuit box. The contractor looks at our box finds a hazard and says it will cost you $ 1000 dollars. I call sun run and a guy out of California says we have morally done our duty by letting you know if you want the work you have to pay $ 1000. I just told him that we were told no money out of our pocket. He responded you will save money on power bill. I mentioned to him the poor service and he said nothing all he said was you want the work it’s $ 1000 dollars. I said cancel the job then. His response was I can’t get anyone out there until end of January beginning of February. He also said if you want to cancel you’ll be hearing from my legal team.

This would have been one star if it wasn’t for Karen D., the supervisor who saved me from canceling my contract on SunRun twice. She was able to fix horrific communication between departments (they tried to install AFTER they had already installed – multiple times, constant phone calls about repairs that were already done or not even needed), able to solve when those sent to make repairs after we failed inspection were not told we failed inspection so had no idea why they were there, and was able to get answers about mystery «repairs» that actually weren’t needed at all. Sunrun needs to hire more reps like her – she saved our contract with them.

I want to thank everyone in the Las Vegas office helping me with the Solar installation.

I just received my confirmation that I am fully installed and awaiting NV energy’s connection.
I could not be happier with the entire process. From the moment that the sales rep (Crayton Ferrell) came to my door, to the wonderful service that my project manager (Nina Perry) has provided me. I have to tell you that she truly made the experience! She has been super responsive and ensured that everything went through super smoothly.
As for Crayton, well what can I say other than he was super honest, and hid nothing during the sales process. He was very open and even made some suggestions as to what i should look into while shopping the competition. No sales pressure whatsoever and made me feel like he truly cared.
In short, because of he and Nina, I have referred my friends and family; there are many more to come. Thank you Crayton for helping me understand solar, and you Nina for helping me get it all done.

I was fortunate to deal with Mike Waldrip and Karen DelaRocco for my Sunrun installation. The project was quickly specced and designed — then got to wait for my ever vigilant HOA to finish their lattes and get around to approving installation — once approved after about 5 weeks the actual instalation took about 4 days — and the installers were meticulous about making sure everything was done right. Then had to wait for NV energy to agree to turn the system on — apparently NV energy has one employee who does this and they have a lot of leave time — took seven weeks for NV energy to allow me to go live — but Mike and Karen had warned me about NV energy’s backlog — good job NV energy! Hold out until the bitter end. Once live my system exceeds expectations — couldn’t be happier with the performance. Had a couple of glitches involving not being able to see online performance but once a bad meter was replaced everything works flawlessly. Thanks Sunrun and thanks to Mike and Karen!

I had a Sun Run rep come to our house., Not impress at all. They didn’t provide us all the infos we need. the guy feels agitated. He was also very cautious of certain infos he can provide us. This is not a way to sell to the customers. The whole experience was awkward. I also had Solar City and the experience was better. They provide all the infos we need with no pressure to sell for us to make the right choice.

Had a Sunrun agent come to my house today, i am sorry that I am not impress at all. I know today is Friday and is long weekend however when you come in totally unprepare which make you and company look bad. You are a salesman which you are suppose to sell you product and company but my agent do nothing at all. Come in my house without his computer to show me the cost and what is the panel look like. When I ask what is the cost and everything then I need to get my computer in the car (Really… Come On). In addition, the agent want to go home and not want to sale me your product or company. After today, I know what company I want to install the panel on my roof but not Sunrun.

I cant say enough about this company, but I will try.
First let me start with our sales guy, Mike W. He was extremely friendly and so knowledgeable about this company and what the benefits were to me for going solar. He gave me the numbers on a spreadsheet comparing Sunrun and NV Energy and what I will save over time.
He communicated EVERY step of the process and if I had any questions he never hesitated to answer them. I asked very bold questions and he laid his answers out plain as the sky is blue.
Next is Lisa D. our customer care rep. If I ever had the chance to meet her, I would hug her just out of gratitude alone. She called whenever we were on the next step and was such a sweet lady. She surprised us one day with an early install schedule as we were not due until mid June. I got a call on March 30^th and install started on April 2^nd. She handled EVERYTHING on the office end of things quickly and efficiently.
Lastly the installation crew. They were so polite and I cant stress enough how clean they left my property. They took their lunch break in my front yard which i didnt mind one bit. I didnt hear any a peep out of them and when I did go outside to check the progress, I never heard «construction worker» language. When the installation was finished, they cleaned every bit of trash and product and it was like they were never there.
