Superior Moulding of Nevada

So glad I didn’t give up the search for moldings that made me say that is the one. The big box stores have some options but just not enough for me to say yeah that’s what I want through out the whole house! Not only did they have a great variety of different moldings they also had them in different matterials. Also had wood flooring, variety of indoor and outdoor doors, I think I remember spindles, and a large variety of handles and knobs. Super friendly staff, knowledgeable and happy to assist but also leaves you alone; just the right amount of attention! We’ve been slacking on the project, but we’ll be back to get started on the trim!

Came here to find some new moulding for the house and they have TONS of choices. After picking out what we wanted they were able to give us samples to make sure it was what we wanted. They carry a large selection in stock but if it’s not they can get it within a couple of days. Friendly service and knowledgeable. We will be coming back to pickup all the moulding for the house.

I bought some hardware like hinges and doorknobs, a bunch of base board, 10 custom ordered doors and the casing that goes with it. Superior Moulding had it delivered right to my shop. I am a contractor and this sure makes it easy for me. I paid over the phone and had my stuff in a couple days. I am not in Las Vegas, but they were able to ship the products to me very quickly. I already knew what I wanted, so the shopping part was easy. The guys there were easy to work with and friendly. The prices were better than my local stores. I recommend this place.

We found out about Superior Moulding through a friend who had gone to Superior after going to a bunch of other moulding places in town. We went as we were looking for baseboards for our house. We had already looked at Lowe’s & Home Depot, but they have a limited selection and they are more expensive. We spent about $.12/​foot less than the most comparable baseboard at Home Depot and Lowe’s…when you are buying a few hundred feet, this makes a huge difference. Also, Superior keeps the same styles in stock for years, so we know we will be able to get more of the same style when we are doing the other rooms in our house. The staff at SM is very knowledgeable and very helpful. From the salesperson to the person who prepares your selection, very friendly and helpful. What is nice is that they will cut the baseboards to fit your vehicle… they come in 16 feet pieces, and we don’t have a truck, so we had them cut them in half, which was nice, and they didn’t have any problem doing that.
We had ordered corner pieces for our baseboards, which had to be ordered. Once we started putting up the baseboards, we decided we didn’t want the corner pieces. The staff at Superior made the refund process easy as cake. They didn’t have any problem giving us back the money for the unused corner pieces.
My only «problem» with Superior are their hours. Their hours are great for contractors (6am — 5pm M-​F, 8am — 1pm Saturday) but kind of stink for those of us who work the 8 – 5 M-​F. Other than that, we are very pleased and will definitely be shopping their again.
Other than moulding, Superior also sells flooring. We didn’t compare those prices, so I can’t say whether or not they are competitive.
