The worst service ever! Took 10 just to get a drink order. Never had menus we had to grab them ourselves. One waitress at peak lunch time. Orders weren’t right. I’m always down to give a second chance to a place.

I have come here twice in the last two weeks while in the area, because I needed a place to work on my laptop. I didn’t realize I would end up loving this place, food and service. The staff is so friendly and attentive and makes great recommendations. The lunch server not only remembered me when I walked in the door, but he also remembered what I ordered and gave me the space I needed when I received an important call. I appreciate attentive staff as well as staff that can sense a guests needs(as mine can be tricky when I have a call). At any rate, the food is always fresh and fast. I have several favorites and I love the AYCE here, more than any other place. I will continue to make this a regular lunch spot!

Sushi Way is my go-to neighborhood AYCE sushi bar. It may not have the best sushi all the time, but it satisfies my cravings and I’m always able to get in without having to wait 1 – 2 hours unlike Goyemon or Kaya. I believe lunch is $ 22 and dinner is $ 27. Like most AYCE sushi restaurants in Vegas, you get a few extra premium items with the dinner price such as the uni, oysters, sweet shrimp, as well as galbi and the screaming orgasm. They always have daily specials, which has always included a type of sashimi with jalapenos. In the past, this has included the super white tuna and yellowtail. The best things to order at Sushi Way include the nigiri and a few of the side dishes. I’ve never had a bad experience with any of the fish. I tend to stay away from the regular or specialty rolls as they usually have a ton of rice and cream cheese. However, if you are tempted to try one, they do offer half rolls. Some of my favorite side dishes include the coconut shrimp tempura(must order every visit), baked green mussels, bacon scallop skewer, and seaweed salad. Of the specialty rolls, I’ve only tried a few variations of the soft shell crab for fun. Their dessert menu includes green tea ice cream, yuzu sorbet, mochi, tempura ice cream, and honey bread. I usually stick to the green tea ice cream or strawberry mochi. The tempura becomes complete mush and the yuzu sorbet is too icey. Don’t forget to check-in on the Unilocal app for a free soda. They do have time limits for meals, but I’ve never experienced them enforcing the rules.

Went here with some friends to try out a new AYCE sushi place since we wanted to shake things up a bit. This location is near the strip and is located in a small plaza, so be sure to make the turn at the light because I thought I could just turn directly in, but there is no other entrance. For lunch they only give you 60 minutes to order your food so make sure you have your whole party with you to maximize the time. I ordered a couple of rolls, but I wasn’t really impressed with any of them since I’ve had much better. The only item I would highly recommend getting is the sushi nachos which is basically a bunch of raw fish stacked on top of a tortilla chip(think of it as a seafood tostada). The rice to fish ratio is alright, but they could cut down on the rice a bit. Also, you can only get one dessert item per person. They are really stingy! The service was both good and bad. The male waiter is very nice and attentive while the Korean lady really needs to brush up on her customer service. I called her over to just order a seaweed salad and the cucumber salad since I wanted something refreshing with my sushi rolls. The first thing she says is «oh, but you already ordered a lot.» First of all, my orders were all half rolls and I was only ordering two light appetizers. Secondly, doesn’t she realize that I was doing the AYCE menu? I’d be more understanding if I ordered a bunch of stuff, but I was being rather conservative for the first round. Luckily she took my order, but I’ve never had that kind of experience before. It just sucks that she is the one to take the orders, while the guy can only clean up or give more water. If the service was better on the lady’s end I would have considered giving a higher rating. Overall, I would not recommend this place. The food is alright, but I would recommend going to Sushi Twister or Sakana. Trust me on this one lol.

Stopped by for lunch on a Friday afternoon with some friends. I wasn’t coming in to try their AYCE that day but once we were seated there was no lunch menu to be found. Make sure to specifically ask for it. The rest of my friends tried the AYCE. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento($ 9). It comes with: chicken teriyaki, 4 California rolls, 2 gyozas, 4 pieces of vegetable tempura, a very small portion of potato salad, salad and miso soup. Although it was a good amount of food, nothing stood out to me. One big thing that bothered us was the service. The busser was very friendly however our waitress… not so much. After my friend placed his first round of orders in, he called her back because he forgot to order some side dishes. She commented that«you already ordered a lot.» I understand that most places want to make sure you only order what you can eat but this was the wrong way of going about it. You can also only order 1 dessert item :( I’m going to have to come back here and try the AYCE menu. Especially the coconut shrimp and sushi nachos, the two stand out items my friends mentioned.

Ahhhhhmazing! This restaurant’s rave reviews are absolutely on point! Would definitely recommend this as THE Las Vegas sushi destination to put on your list. The vibe is hip and trendy, with Eminem rap music bumping through the speakers and high-speed skating on the TV screens. Food was ready extremely fast, and everything was amazing. I’ve never had deep-fried sushi before, and my Johnny roll was awesome! I would’ve eaten two! We also got two other sushi rolls and the vegetable tempura. Tons of options on the menu, and lots of them were very different from what I’m used to back home in New England. Lots of great new things to try! Sushi Way does have an «all you can eat» option, but the a la carte menu is what we went with, and I was happy with my decision.

Amazing food, great service. I really don’t know how they do it for $ 26 all u could eat. Had all the star items, most the nigiri sushi and I must say, I’m impressed, especially for the price, it’s kinda insane if u ask me. I was expecting old low quality crap sushi but far from that! 100 times better than any Japanese buffet! Will most definitely return!!!

Great tucked away gem, off the strip. All you can eat sushi and other items off the menu. The guy behind the bar rolling the sushi was so fast at getting the rolls out. He made sure we left full. The quality of sushi was good too. So many rolls to pick from, primo service and delicious to boot. I will make this a regular spot when in Vegas. Don’t let the fact that it’s in a strip mall detour you. Worth a visit for great sushi!

It’s a nice inexpensive place. They have«all you can eat» option, which is a great idea for people who like to try everything! It’s a nice sized place with enough room between tables. The service is great, they really look happy to see you. I felt really good as soon as I walked in, great vibe! And they’re fast, so be careful not to order too many things at once because you’ll have your table full! They are really good explaining the menu and suggesting so if you’re unsure or confused, jus ask them! The food looks and tastes good, I was super excited after reading the reviews here and I sure was not disappointed. The reason why this place is not a 5 star for me is the fact that they ran out of gyoza, which happens to be my favorite item in any Japanese menu; and the fact that their bathroom looks dark and a little messy.

Not sure where to go with this since the pics of my food look dope and the service was spot on… but… …something seemed up with the wateriness of some of the sushi, almost like there was a condensation problem going on in the fridge and some water collected in the tray. A lot of the pieces seemed just wet, even my girlfriend noticed and mentioned so it wasn’t just in my head or something. The salmon wasn’t totally fresh and neither was the red snapper… and they were out of halibut… bummer. Also, they seared a lot of the pieces even though I’m not into searing it(hence why people go for sushi… uncooked fish, right!?)…maybe they were trying to cover up something. Anyway with all that above, why 4 stars instead of 3(or less). The service was great, it wasn’t busy and we had a ton of «no rice» arrangements thrown at us left and right made up on the spot that seemed limitless(see pics)…and oh yeah… Tempura. Coconut. Shrimp. This place came recommended from a couple AYCE sushi fans and I can see it has potential. Perhaps I’ll give them another shot to earn that 5…(if Sakana has an hour wait).

A great place to have an All-You-Can-Eat sushi dinner! Very friendly and fast service, fresh and great tasting sushi selections, nice ambience, … The list goes on. I love sushi and consider myself an above average sushi expert, and this place delivers! Very fresh fish, good rice preparation, good balance of fish portion vs rice. Sushi pieces are a bit on the small size, but for an AYCE, this works to It is not a big place and can get crowded quickly, and so go a little early in the evening if possible. Coconut shrimp and raw oysters safe wonderful side dishes, too. Galbi is also a great addition, though it is a sushi restaurant. Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious food! Quick and friendly service in a nice and clean environment. I will definitely be coming back. I loved the sushi solution roll as well as the volcano roll. They were the stand out rolls among the other already fantastic dishes.

This was phenomenal! We were worried about«all you can eat» sushi, but this was just unbelievably good. You can order almost anything off the menu including appetizers and deserts. The sushi nachos were one of my favorite dishes, great flavor, loaded with fresh tuna and a tangy sauce. The fried coconut shrimp were also to die for, you almost don’t even need the sauce to go with it. Very light and just a hint of sweetness. The rolls were um… Amazing so good and so filling, we were committed to not over eating but this place made that a challenge. The only thing we didn’t like was the mochi ice cream, the texture was just not the way it should be. If your in the mood for sushi swing on by.

In Vegas and wanted sushi but didn’t want to pay outrages prices so we found this place a little ways off the strip. We walked in and it was lonely but tried it any ways. We got seated and looked over the menu. Our waiter was very cool and very knowledgable about the food they served. We decided to go for the all you can eat and that was a great choice. Sushi was fresh and tasty. We had tuna, halibut, salmon and rolls. I can’t remember the rolls we had nor did I take pictures of them but they were very good. The waiter would also do recommendations of what to try and everything was very good. My wife also ordered noodles in this place and she enjoyed them while I tore up the all you can eat sushi. You really can’t go wrong. When in Vegas I will definitely be going back to sushi way and hitting up the all you can eat!

My friend and I ended up here after being greatly poorly at nearby Sakana… They are open until 2am for AYCE. It was empty when we arrived but it was 11:30pm on a Tuesday during the pre holiday season when UNLV and most of vegas was slow Pros: very clean, nice server, open late. Cons: Portion: while the Gyzoa was very fresh we couldn’t fathom why am order for two people would only have 2 pieces(1 for each). The gal I was super small and cut oddly menu: it would be better if it had pictures… reading through the list as it was organized wasn’t the easiest. Subjective taste: the sushi was not to my taste… I don’t like cream cheese rolls and they had many… I wasn’t a fan for the garlic ponzu sauce and their spicy tuna just wasn’t to my taste. So… Why a 3 star. They were clean, good service and while the food wasn’t to my sushi taste my friend liked hers and I have to round up on the subjective side

Another fantastic experience at this fine sushi establishment. This time I had more of the nigiri selections and they were fantastic. My favorites were the garlic tuna and seared salmon. Truly melt in your mouth delicious. Other winners were the kamikaze dynamite, jalapeño poppers, wakame, and poke salad. I could easily eat this every day. Plus, the AYCE lunch is $ 21.95, a terrific value. Can’t wait for my next yummy visit. Until then Sushi Way.

With multiple sushi joints popping up in Vegas, how does one stay ahead of the pack? Well, there’s a no brainer here! Quality and Service are on top of my list of what I look for. I didn’t stumble onto Sushi Way. It was under«hot and new» so I gave it a shot! I always prefer to be seated at the bar, so I can interact with the chef. It’s also very entertaining to watch them prepare my meal. And wow! I was very impressed by the temperature of the sushi and the fish to rice ratio was excellent. I was even more impressed that the chef kept making items that were off menu! I was game for anything! I love that this place doesn’t use a lot of cream cheese in their sushi as fillers! If I want to eat cream cheese, I have lots in my fridge! LOL Having an option for sushi half rolls is another reason I consider when dining in and I’m glad this place offers that! Some places only do half rolls on your last order. Then there’s the awesome staff at Sushi Way. Where they treat you in an AWESOME way!

Unilocal300CHALLENGE2015: #300GOALACHIEVED! Saturday Solo Sushi-Round #3 This past Saturday 12/12th, I arrived here after 2 unsuccessful attempts to eat at other AYCE sushi restaurants, that I walked out of due to a combination of bad service, questionable sanitary practices and no fresh oysters and AYCE limits on salmon roe. So here I am @ Sushi Way on Paradise Rd., 2 blocks N. of Flamingo, for my 3rd attempt of the evening to feast on AYCE sushi. I’m pleased to write the quote«Three Times A Charm» as Sushi Way is a fantastic AYCE sushi restaurant. Modern interior w/plenty of pretty Christmas décor, House Music & Top Hits playing as background music from Pandora, friendly service from start to finish by the host and all employees. This enjoyable 90 minute AYCE delicious sushi dinner was competitively priced @ $ 26.95. TIPFORTHELADIES: They offer ½ rolls so you can try a variety and not fill up so quickly. I sat in a comfortable chair at the L shaped granite counter sushi bar and began w/a cold raspberry iced tea, fresh oysters and at least a half a dozen salmon roe with a stuffed Santa Claus as my dining partner. The sushi chef was welcoming, filled w/smiles and had plenty of enthusiasm. His talents offered several hand crafted culinary works of art in a timely manner. He clearly loves his job here at Sushi Way! He prepared several delicious rolls i’ve never tried and some of my favorites that also tasted excellent. The Halibut was cut thick w/excellent rice consistency. Jalapeño slices adorned the Yellowtail belly sashimi. The Spider Roll was very good w/warm shrimp tempura. The Alaskan and Hawaiian rolls were flavorful favorites. Baked green mussels topped w/a hot cheese sauce. Poke tuna salad was excellent! Garlic yellowtail was spicy good. The Sexy Lazy Special was a delight consisting of coconut shrimp tempura & cream cheese, topped w/salmon, avocado & coconut flakes, w/a spicy mayo sauce. Yum! The Rock & Roll Special was also a delight consisting of tuna, salmon, yellowtail, white fish and crab wrapped in cucumber, topped w/«orgasm sauce.» LOL For dessert, I turned down the several offerings for 2 sea creatures. The Octopus had a perfect crunch and seawater taste. Eel had a smooth texture w/warm sweet sauce that ended my Saturday Solo Sushi. Yay! I’m a fan. See 14 photos below… Unilocal300CHALLENGE2015: #300GOALACHIEVED!

This experience went 100 – 0 real quick. When we got there the place wasn’t crazy busy. We got seated right away and the servers were genuinely super nice and on top of things! The rolls were decent, we tried the following: Rolls– Tiger Shrimp Lover Freaky Friday Baked Salmon Spider Hot and Juicy Lisa Hand Roll Appetizers– Cucumber Crab Salad Seaweed Salad Screaming Orgasm Sweet and Spicy Potstickers Tempura Calamari Dessert– Strawberry Mochi duh Like I said the rolls were decent but I’m sad to say we will not be returning due to the horrendous wait time to receive rolls. There was a time we waited 28 minutes for a roll. I get they only had two sushi chefs but there were times when we saw rolls waiting for ten plus minutes to be picked up and taken to tables. It’s unfair to blame the chefs when they’re doing their job.

A wonderful addition to the AYCE sushi scene in Vegas! It’s very conveniently located not far from the strip and not far from the convention center. The 3 of us came for lunch one afternoon to satisfy our sushi cravings! My friend was raving about this place, so I had to come and try it. Prices $ 21.95 for lunch and $ 26.95 for dinner. Lunch does not include sweet shrimp, uni and some of the other expensive items. Minus 1 star. We started with a bunch of sushi items on the sushi list. The fish was incredibly fresh, and each one had a long piece of fish on top of a piece of rice. The fish wasn’t thick but definitely larger than many of the other AYCE places. The super white tuna just melts in your mouth, so good! The scallop sushi was made with real scallops, the smaller ones and definitely very fresh also. We followed the sushi with a bunch of rolls, and each one was made well and tasted great! Service was decent, I did have to ask for refilled a few times. Free soda with Unilocal check-in which is awesome. Dessert options were good. The sweet toast with ice cream was yummy. Bathrooms were clean, parking was easy. Definitley recommend!
