Steaks and sides were great! The view is also pretty unique with the changing fountain colors and statues.

Absolutely stunning meal. Had dinner with my gf and some friends on a weekend in Vegas. We arrived on a Saturday evening with no reservations and were seated in about ten minutes. Ad usual I was dressed in jeans, T-shirt, and hoodie… no problem. Started out with a SW Manhattan cocktail. The drink was flavorful and smooth. Had another to confirm. For apps I ordered the king crab legs with sage butter(seasonal,) my friend ordered the tartare. The legs were out of this world. Firm flesh and huge size. The sage butter and lemon made for the vest crab experience I’ve ever had. Entrée was the Wagyu, gf got the bone in rib eye, medium. Steaks we’re perfect and flavorful. I will be back.

Excellent food and superb customer service! A memorable dining experience on the Strip. Thanks to our server Fernando for his service and expertise of the food menu items. Recommend the risotto and gnocchi dishes.

Ah-mazing! Went here with my family for Christmas Eve’s dinner after getting off the plane. Astounding service and food. I ordered their seafood appetizer which was extremely fresh. And ordered a filet wish was really good too! Their lobster was really good too. Definitely coming back here when I visit Vegas again!

My fave steakhouse. Dine here each and every time i’m in vegas. from the bread basket, to the creamed spinach/mac n cheese/corn/mushrooms, to the steak, everything is a HIT! one star taken off for the less than appealing snooty demeanor that the(asian) hostess can sometimes give off. i think they forget that they’re serving us! anywho, thankfully they don’t mar the experience too much. be sure to sit on the outdoor heated patio for the whimsical and adorable water shows!

For some reason when Botero was still at the Encore, we never paid a visit to SW Steakhouse. Now that Botero is gone, we figured we might as well try SW Steakhouse and I am really glad we made that decision! The service and atmosphere are obviously top-notch. Come on, it’s inside the Wynn. What else can you expect? The food was amazing — we had the Seafood Spectacular which was a seafood platter with oysters, king crab legs, etc. However, the daily special was a snow crab claws which were SIMPLYAMAZING. The meat was so tender and sweet. I loved it! For the main course, the boyfriend and I shared the tomohawk steak. The meet was so juicy and soft — but way too much food for even two people. For the sides, we got seared foie gras, brussel sprouts and the truffle creamed corn. The biggest disappointment was the creamed corn because instead of having whole corn, it was grounded corn. I think if there were actually pieces of corn, it would have been a lot better. For dessert, we had the crème brûlée and also their signature funnel cakes. Both delicious! I would definitely come back!

Love the food, and my server, Albert, is great! This time, had the boneless Ribeye steak. So perfect! Great restaurant, one of my favorites in the US!

Their dogs go «wan wan». Cats, «nyan nyan». So what do cows sound like in Japan? Moo. Same sound, yes, but wow, do they taste different. Enter SW Steakhouse, offering the largest selection of true Japanese wagyu brands in Vegas. All A5, BMS8 – 10.(BMS12 tops the scale). Translated, nearly the best quality. Each brand has its own unique flavor. All show a unique sweetness not found in American beef. All very rich but the fat in unique; it leaves no cloying oily finish on the palate. Tip: Order the steak blue(seared and raw in the middle) to rare. Best way to savor the fat within. Tip: Unless sharing, stick with the 4oz portion of Japanese wagyu. Very rich. Props to you if you can finish more. Tip: Go with a group and order all the Japanese Wagyu brands and compare them side by side. Fun and eye opening. Kobe — Offered in various cuts. The rib cap is the most tender and flavorful. Velvety mouth feel as the fat melts on the tongue at body temperature. Pronounced sweetness lacking all mineral flavor usually associated with beef. Ohmi — NY strip. Viscous fat melting below body temperature. Velvety mouth feel. Sweet with a distinct but pleasant animal fat aroma(think uncured bacon). Again, no mineral flavors. A personal favorite. Kagoshima — NY strip. Closest to American Kobe. Incredibly tender and less sweetness than the other brands. Has a beef flavor with some minerality. Prefer an all American steakhouse experience? SW offers a good selection of more traditional USDA prime, wet and dry aged beef and American Wagyu. Only tried the dry aged New York. Cooked to temp with even sear. Well trimmed with a gentle umame finish from the aging. Sides? For Japanese beef, none. For American beef, the black truffle cream corn is outstanding. Umame punch of the truffles plays well on that of the dry aged steak. Sautéed wild mushrooms; aggressively seasoned with a generous amount of chanterelles simple good eats. Seafood? Uhh, this is a Steakhouse although the restaurant does offer seafood, poultry, lamb and vegetarian(yes, I know how silly that sounds) options. Desserts? Way to full to sample. Service is very polished and professional yet steakhouse friendly. Excellent wine list with some vintage depth. Typical resort pricing. An overindulgence for sure but hey, it’s Vegas baby!

In the 9 days spent on this trip we went to SW Steakhouse twice and on both occasions the food and service was exceptional!!! I spent $ 350 for 2 and $ 550 for a party of 3 and my only regret was that I can not possibly find food like this in South America where I spend most of my time. All the classic dishes done to perfection! Just outstanding and next or equal to the Cirque du soleil Love production SW was the highlight of the trip.

The most perfect experience all the way around. 5 stars for food, ambiance, décor and service. Plus a bonus for the beautiful show that starts at 7pm right outside of the restaurant on the lagoon with a huge mesmerizing waterfall that you can see through the windows while dining or you can come out on the patio and enjoy it with accompanying music. Recommendations as far as the food: Kale salad light and citrusy– delicious Pasta with lobster and mushrooms — excellent Black Sea bass light and full of flavor served with bok choy and tiny mushrooms My husband had the steak and loved it. All their steaks are premium USDA meat and you can’t go wrong here. We also tried the cream corn with black truffles as a side dish — terrific! Decided to go with martinis instead of the wine. The drinks were good, strong enough and with good flavor. Skipped the desert but there were some good options to consider for the next time. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff makes every effort to make your experience unforgettable just like all of the restaurants of the Wynn and Encore Hotel. Will definitely come back, again and again !

Dined on the evening of November 27, 2015 — Our of all my dining experiences in Vegas, this one is the best! We dined in their general dining room for dinner and had such a wonderful server, Richard! He was fabulous! Without him, I don’t think the dining experience would have been as perfect! Ordered: 9 oz. Filet Mignon Pan Roasted Sea Scallops — English pea risotto, pea views, black truffle sauce Side of: Chanterelle mushrooms and haricots verts — crisp shallots, lemon herb butter A glass of the Cabernet Sauvignon, Foley Johnson, Napa Valley(perfect!!) Let’s just say Richard was very right when he said the glass of wine would pair well with the side and the overall meal! Just perfect! :) I hope SW Steakhouse realizes how wonderful Richard(1214005) is for their staff! I truly wouldn’t have enjoyed such a fabulous meal without him!!! THANKYOURICHARD!!! You made this restaurant my favorite!!! ^_^

This place has a special place in my heart. We went for our 4 year wedding anniversary and sat lakeside. Super romantic. To begin with we had some of the bread they brought to the table and the pretzel bread was just to die for!!! We also had a caesar salad which was great. I am a Seafood FANATIC so of course I had to have the Seafood Spectacular. It was perfect. I dont like oysters so I switched those for more shrimp. And it was soooo much I couldnt finish it. It can easily be for two people. The service was also very good and all the staff kept complimenting my husband and I on how we were dressed. We loved it so much that the next time we were in vegas we went again. This time I had the lobster and I must say its one of the bests ive tried in the states! Cant wait to be back Love all the restaurants at the Wynn!.

Wow. Just wow. Prepare to be blown away. Vegas is a pricey city and the food is absolutely ridiculously expensive but this place is well worth it. The super cool lake/pond with edgy music and awesome special effects alone is worth it. We started with the chopped salad and the octopus. The salad had some amazing flavor, avocado, and crispy Potatoes… I.e. Fancy but amazing potato crisps. The octopus was very tender and rich and served over a bed of spicy chickpeas. We told the restaurant about my gluten allergy and they brought me gluten free rolls which were incredible– something I’m not used to when it comes to bread. Meal: chicken– was amazing– with broccolini, potatoes, and carrots over some delicious jus, I was just in awe of how perfectly it was cooked– with crispy skin. The New York strip was excellent as well. The sides: sautéed vegetables included squash, zucchini, carrots, and snow peas, all cooked to perfection-and a nice healthy portion– yum! The fries: cheesy and good. Not the best I’ve ever had but a large portion size. To be honest, I was too full to eat more than one. Do yourself a favor and request this one ahead of time: the molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Warm, gooey center which melts in your mouth. Typically served with chocolate ice cream but request vanilla! Gluten free and so amazing. So so amazing! Just wow. I am so full and so happy. Much better than almost all of the any of the other meals I’ve had in Vegas. And I’ll definitely be back!

SW is probably my favorite steakhouse in Las Vegas. Everything is beautiful about it(atmosphere/service) and the food is on point. I wish I could elaborate a lot more on what I ordered but it was just a barrage of goodness. I believe I ordered this: Chile Rubbed Double Rib Eye(for two) While this was amazing, I sort of wish I got something more purist like a simple porterhouse or any bone-in cut without fancy spices. Whatever you end up ordering, it’ll probably be amazing. If you’re serious about having a great dining experience here, be sure to make a reservation and dress correct. One time I tried to do a walk-in and I was wearing shorts and they weren’t having it. You could probably do a walk-in and wait for a table but make sure you’re dressed appropriately. If you’re trying to get some that night, get a reservation at a table that directly views the artificial waterfall outside. SW is the truth.

I’ve been here twice this year and enjoyed it both times! Great ambiance overlooking the lake of dreams where it starts at 7pm and play every often the bizarre dreams of Mr. Wynn. Highly recommend reservation ahead of time and be sure to request a table by the lake. Service was very attentive and the menu is quite extensive. SW did a great job in every category of the menu. Menu may be on pricier end but it’s all quality. Expect to allocate about 2 hours for dinner. Appetizers: Complimentary house bread — must try the bacon bread with house butter, but friendly reminder not to eat so much! Hudson Valley Foie gras appetizer with apple compote — one of the best foie gras! It was tender and the sweetness of the apple compote balance the flavor of foie gras. It was lightly seared and very flavorful. We chose the appetizer instead of the compliment with the steak because the appetizer comes with the compote. Tuna tartare with sesame wafer — On par with fresh fish serve in a highly rated Japanese restaurant. Actually, this may be more fresh and better then most Japanese restaurant! I skipped the sesame wafer for the tuna tartare alone was fresh and delicious. Domestic wagyu from Snake river farms NY strip 10oz $ 80 — Charred and the steak was done medium rare to perfection. The flavor and balance of the fat in the steak was mouth-watering. For a NY strip, it was quite fatty like a ribeye and I enjoyed every bite of it. Complimented with enoki mushroom. Wagyu A5 from Kagoshima prefecture 4oz $ 140 compliment with chopped greens(chinese brocoli?) — We ordered both domestic and Japanese Wagyu to compare it side by side. The 4 oz portion was a generous amount of meat and I almost couldn’t finish. It was lightly seared to medium rare. As compared to domestic, A5 wagyu has more meaty taste, less seasoning, and less flaming char flavor. It was also not as salty as the domestic one. Both wagyu was very enjoyable and was different in taste. sauteed spinach — crispy and tasty carrots — sweet and fresh funnel cake with strawberry and 3 dipping sauce(anglaise, salty caramel, and chocolate) — it was good, but a bite too much carb to my liking. I only ate one funnel cake and it was very filling. You have the option to order half order with 3 funnel cakes($ 10), instead of 6($ 20).

Best dining experience and most phenomenal steak in Vegas, hands down! There is something so great about a waiter greeting you by name and I love how attentive they are. Patio seating is a must as the show is entertaining throughout dinner. Reservations aren’t easy to come by as this place is packed every night of the week. I won’t go into great detail about the food because after all it’s a steakhouse and I’m sure you are a fan of steak if you are searching for a steakhouse. I will share with you that you should smother your steak in the butter they provide you because just when you thought it couldn’t get better, it does! You can’t go wrong with any of the side dishes(I especially love the Brussel sprouts). The wine list is fantastic with plenty to choose from including by the glass. I haven’t tried any of the desserts but I watch in envy while everyone else enjoys them. Service is phenomenal! It’s very easy to spend $ 400 on 2 people here.

The Wagyu is the way to go. I’m slowly converting to this beef variant, and the NY cut is good since it’s marbleized so it’s tender and tasty, more so than a standard Rib Eye or Fillet Mignon. Here, there’s an $ 80 priced 10 oz steak which is perfect. I’ve had Wagyu at Wolfgang Puck’s «Cut» as well as «Flemming’s» and this is on par to perfection. If you’ve never had Wagyu, it’s worth trying. I’ve had traditional Kobe Beef which is more oily rich and a bit too decadent for my palete at times in comparison ‘tho really good, much more expensive, so for taste and value, I’d always go with the Wagyu over Kobe. The service was friendly and fast. I also had the King Crab Soup which was zesty and tasty ‘tho not a lot of crab in it, it was delicious.

Good bye to the ratchet Vegas days of drinking all day and night and MAYBE having a cup of noodle the entire weekend and HELLOSWSTEAKHOUSE! Restaurant located in the Wynn so that alone should scream top-notch. Upscale and upbeat. I arrived slightly buzzed and a little after our reservation, but they were able to seat us right away. We were indoors, but our table faced the lake/waterfall. Every half hour or so they put on a little show… It was cute. and somewhat entertaining(not really). + 20 oz. bone-in rib eye — Again, slightly buzzed so I let my boyfriend order me a 20oz. bone-in rib eye. Otherwise I would’ve stopped him because omg that’s just way too much food. I think he was plotting though because he had plenty of my steak left over lol. Anyway, I barely finished a quarter of it, but my oh my. JUICY, FLAVORFUL, MELT-IN-YOUR-MOUTH, HEAVENLY, etc. etc. etc. + sides — mushroom, cream corn … staple steak sides that were really good. BUT if you have to choose at least one… get the jalapeño/onion/pepper dish. SOOOO amazing(if you like spicy food). My boyfriend and I loved it so much we went home that weekend and cooked steak just to eat it with our sorry version of that side. SOGOOD. + foie gras — I’ve had way better. I would’ve been happier without it. Great experience, but still not my favorite steakhouse ever.

I could give SW a five star rating based on the chile rubbed double ribeye alone. We dined here on a Saturday night with friends visiting from out of town. It was a risk bringing friends to a restaurant I hadn’t tried, but my co-workers insisted this was a safe bet. They weren’t wrong. We started with drinks and a lovely variety of breads. For dinner my husband and I shared the chile rubbed double rib-eye that lived up to all of the hype. There was plenty of steak and flavor for the two of us. It was perfectly tender on the inside of the slices with the perfect amount of crisp on the outside. We ordered a potato dish that had lavender mixed in and a chive topping. It was a unique twist on the usual potato. My pecan blonde brownie was very tasty and had just the right amount of bourbon flavor. The ambiance and vibe of the restaurant would make this great for a date or a group gathering.

Fleischliebhaber hin !

This is one of my favorite restauranst of all time. It’s got the whole package. AMAZINGFOOD. AMAZINGSERVICEANDAMMMMAAAAZZINGAMBIANCE. The seafood stack is awesome. After that I don’t remember much because I drank enough wine for a small army. Tip: Go in the summer and get a seat on the patio right by the glass. Call ahead, slip the hot hostess a 50, do whatever you have to, but its worth it. You might actually even get some that night too! ahah jk. Every 15 or 20 minutes theres a cool little show that goes on in the waterfall. You’ll see what I mean if you go.
