The Chef’s Catering

I am also National Guard and they just catered to us over the past weekend. We had 2 breakfast meals and 2 dinners with this caterer. I was really surprised that for the money they paid for the breakfast, we only got very small 6oz cups for juice. I was shocked that all they made was quiche with a lot of flaky crust and hardly any meat. We are grown men and they gave us tiny portions and had mini cinnamon rolls and mini blueberry muffins from Costco. They ran out of food the first breakfast and couldn’t feed all of the soldiers. We had to send someone out to get food for the people who didn’t get to eat. He also had a small fruit tray and a tray of small bagels. Mainly, it was all bread and we wanted meat and eggs. We were all disappointed especially with the fact that they were paid enough money to supply adequate amounts of food and to supply something substantial. It was too much bread and it was mainly store bought food that we could have gone to Costco and bought for a lot cheaper than having them go and buy it. They must have only been interested in how much money they could get without really putting effort into the meal. The first dinner wasn’t very good and small portions. The 2^nd breakfast, they fed everyone with very small portions of their quiche and again, store bought mini rolls and muffins. Very disappointing. The 2^nd dinner was better when they had fried chicken and meatloaf with mashed potatoes and some vegetables. However, I still have to give them 1 star because as a company that’s been around so long, they should know how much food they will need and that we want protein for working outside all day. Also, the portion size and running out of food is unacceptable. They are an approved vendor for the state but I hope we can take them off and go with a different company that can accommodate our needs much better.

Fell in love with Chef JB as soon as we contacted him for our clients wedding. This review is long overdue but they are an amazing company with staff that are extremely friendly and accommodating. The Chef came and met the bride and groom personally before leaving his staff in charge. The food was great and the presentation was absolutely amazing. I cannot wait to use this company again in the future!

The staff is very friendly! The reason why I give it a one star is because the food sucks. I am in the national guard and they catered to us during our annual training. Honestly our MRE (meal ready to eat) is way better. The cookies they serve is generic store bought. I’ve never had such bad food from a catering company before. Every meal has been under seasoned, the best thing I’ve had from this company is probably the sweet tea and lemonade that was made from the store bought mixers. Although the staff are very friendly and kind, just not the food.

The Chef’s Catering catered our event at The Martin! Amazing finger foods, desserts, and very friendly staff. They were quick to quote me on pricing, were early to the event to set up, their display was fabulous, and again, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire event. I highly recommend them and plan to use them at future events!

They are the best! They catered my holiday party and were perfect! They got there early to set up and were very professional! The food was EXCELLENT! We will DEFINITELY go with them again!!!

I had my grandsons graduation catered with The Chefs Catering. The did a awesome job. Ribs, BBQ Chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers and wonderful salads. Debbie

Chef JB i would just like to thank you for the food that you prepared for my wedding. It was back in April so i am a little overdue for the thank you but I do think all the time about how wonderful your food was. Being from Texas i would like to say i know GOOD bar-​b-​que and I must say yours is the best. Thank you for making my special day even better with your great price and food that is worth a lot more!
