Havana Room was a great setting for a Christmas party!
Located in the Tropicana, it’s easy to find on their signage. Tucked in the back corner of the casino is a beautifully decorated room. The lovely table linens lit by the huge chandeliers gave it an elegant feel. Bars are located at each corner with the dance floor in the center.
The bartenders were all very friendly and quick. There wasn’t any issue with lines. The waiters were all quick to clear dirty plates and glasses. Service was really good and much appreciated for this fun event.
The Havana Room is a great venue and did a great job!

Esposa and I attended a dinner & dance for a conference. The name is perfect: it has the feel of a Cuban club (not that I’ve been to Cuba). Bright and colorful. The live band was quite good and played a great mix of music ranging from jazz to 80s dance. We sat outside by the pool and enjoyed some amazing weather. The food was surprisingly good. The American coffee was the best I had anywhere in the Tropicana. Overall, a very good experience.

Do you like lines that move? Do you like prepaying for things and getting your money’s worth? Or getting into the event that you paid for? Then this place is not for you. I have never seen a group of people so defeated. Hundreds of people standing in line for over two hours, who prepaid to get in. It’s a shame, this place is managed in a way that makes one lose faith in humanity. Good luck to you if you decide to go, but as far as I’m concerned this place can return to the suck-hole it came from.
