First experience going to a comedy club, and we went there to see Charles Fleischer ’cause the boyfriend thought it’d be a fun thing to do for our anniversary. Hahahaha… Got us front row seats(literally). Honestly don’t know if seating is supposed to be tight around the stage with tiny tables, but the venue isn’t large to begin with. Felt claustrophobic between other patrons and the stage. The boyfriend asked the usher/ticket person if we could just move back for me, and she was nice enough to let us move. Before we switched seats, the drink server got our order, and she managed to find us when we switched. Liked that she even checked on us during the show. The comedian was funnier and cooler than I thought. Just wish that the venue’s staff could’ve somehow deterred the other patrons from using their phones or having their own loud conversations, which was distracting from the show.

I haven’t been to too many improv comedy shows except for ones in LA. The interior was clean, spacious, and all seats appear to have a great view. Lucky us we got front row side seats. Yeahhhhhhhhh!!! I came here to watch Dat Phan since a friend wanted to see the winner of last comic standing from a gazillions years ago while in town. Tickets are not cheap…$ 39/pp before tax and other charges. Rather than the featured comedian, the host was suuuuuuuper hilarious and some other guest comic was absolutely amazing. It was a short hour that went by quickly and it was a blast. Drinks are somewhat pricey but def cheaper than clubs.

The comics on the night we visited were hysterical! At some points my wife and I laughed so hard we were in tears! The quality of the show obviously will vary depending on who is performing, which changes weekly. The venue is pretty small, which makes for a fun, intimate setting. Table seating as you would expect from a comedy club. The drinks are over priced in my view. $ 25 plus tip for two well drinks. They also seemed put out that I was paying with a credit card. Great show, and the ticket prices for a comedy show are some of the lowest on the strip. I would recommend it.

Do yourself a favor and skip this. Paid 80 bucks for two– we are not prudes, but this was terrible. Pee jokes and placenta jokes and just stupid borrowed material, nothing original and not at all on the fly– or «improv» as advertised. if you are going to be offensive at least be funny about it. The one girl comedian I have to say was actually pretty good but we walked out and hey guess it’s vegas and that’s showbiz but if your want to be entertained you may have better luck watching Seinfeld reruns cuz this wanna be wop should be mopping the floors instead of doing standup.

Extremely disappointed. Called the phone # listed on Unilocal.Messaging service says«Nightly 8&10:30 shows» We get there & oops shows are 10pm & not 10:30. We were there 10:10pm. No sorry, no offer of complimentary tickets or anything. Oh yes the Box Office guy wouldn’t believe the voice message /greeting would said 10:30 so he made me call the number & hear it for himself. Once he heard it — roll of eyes & nothing at all. ABSOLUTEFAIL

The tickets were a present from my friend that accompanied me to the Improv. The comedians were good and the drinks were good and a good price for Vegas. This was my first time at a Comedy club and this is something I would do again.

Not sure if we got rip off by a Half Off ticket booth in Planet Hollywood, but $ 180 for 4 is steep for what we witnessed. I guess I was expecting top talent for Vegas. I been here about 6 years ago with super funny comedians with Gary Valentine headlining. That’s what I expect for this entertainment capital of the world. But this time was pretty poor. Sure I laughed more than my share, but you can tell the level was bottom rung. I been on two carnival cruises recently and they were Vegas quality. The place hasn’t been updated in probably 20 years. I don’t mind as much but let’s get real talent or lower your prices. I always have my local improv if I want to take my chances. Thank you for reading

Great smaller venue for a comedy show. You can’t really rate the venue based on whether the comics were funny or not. The MC was fairly funny, the first comic was fairly funny, but we went to see Henry Phillips. The total show was only about 1 hour and that was a little disappointing. This club seems to be used for at least 4 shows a night, and that’s probably the reason for short shows. I’m giving 4 stars because the VIP seating was extra and only slightly closer(there’s not a bad seat in the house). Also, VIP ticket holders are suppose to get a free t-shirt and they forgot to give it to us. I was very happy though to speak with the main comic(Henry) after the show, get a picture, and he signed a CD that I bought. Also, go to Tix4Tonight for a discount the day of the show. Our $ 50VIP tickets were only $ 35. The non-VIP tickets are normally $ 30(minus and discount).

You can get a ticket book at Harrah’s front desks by asking and get a 2 for 1 here. Nice small theater, sit as close as you dare. Difficult to escape being part of the act here, so lighten up. You can see who the headliners are online and listen to a little clip of their shtick on youtube usually; we only avoid the insulter types like Rickles or Andrew Dice Clay types. Moderator, warm up and headliner were all very funny. Drinks were cheap, now THAT’s funny. Way better than average standup, moderator was in his 20’s, warmup in his 50’s, and headliner in her 30’s, ALL current and funny. Do it.

I wish I could give this show 4.5 stars because that would be more fair. The comedians were great they get 5⁄5. They were older but their jokes weren’t;they keep up with current events so I got every joke and reference. I give 4⁄5 stars because their drink prices were ridiculous even for Vegas, but more importantly they kept referencing how empty the room was, granted it was a Wednesday night but it doesn’t give you much hope for the show when they keep reminding you that no one is there. Maybe that’s why the drinks were so pricey. Overall a hilarious show I would highly recommend it if you’re into stand-up.

We go to Vegas every summer for about 23 years now. We hit this show up every time. The comedians provide a needed laugh when you are losing your shirt(but having fun doing it). Booths 7,8, 9 are awesome. Drinks run about $ 12 but are strong. Enjoy

You are at the mercy of who is the comedian at the time you go. Sometimes you can be lucky and get a really good comedian. Other times, the comedian can be not so good. So, it can range from 1 to 5 stars depending on who you see. The atmosphere is fine and comfortable. The Improv is a good place to hang out with friends and enjoy a show. Overall, the Improv is a good value for Vegas. The price is reasonable.

Small place. Cramped seating. Be sure to check your tix when buying or you’ll be sitting behind the person you came with. Seats 1 and 2 are NOT side by side. must be some new math where 1 follows 4. Also, don’t expect a smiling face to greet seat you. Maria made us feel like a couple heads of cattle. Wouldn’t acknowledge that we made a mistake with the tickets and at least try to help. Just walked away. Drinks were $ 12 a piece, but I guess that’s Vegas. Show was good at least.

I liked this theater, we came to see the very funny comedy magician here. It was very spacious, we had a lot of room to spread out. I got a pins colada and it was pretty good actually, but not great. I had two anyway lol, so it must’ve at least been ok. I like that it’s centrally located on the strip, Harrah’s is very close by most things, so it’s pretty easy to get to. We did get a bit turned around though, you have to go up a specific set of escalators in the casino to get to this second floor casino(the ones closest to the strip, not the ones that go up to Toby’s that are closer to the front desk). I also didn’t like that there’s nowhere for a line to form, we were just all crowded around the front door. Anyway, its an ok theater, no frills, not decorated, just a true comedic stage. PS People working the bar window, you talk sooo loud that we can hear you during the show, and I mean loud and clear! Tone it down and respect the performer, k :-P

Bob Zany, Zan(Alexandria) Auferheide funny! Always a good show at the Improv. Zan was so funny, kidding with the Las Vegas audience, those poor Oklahomans! Bob Zany, I’ve seen on Comedy Central, but his stand up routine is so much funnier live!

The Improv is a great show at a great price. I’ve been to the show twice so far(they have different comedians every week), and have left happy both times. The venue is comfortable and intimate, they book a lot of great talent, and the drinks are nice and strong.

We came because we were at a convention and didn’t have an event that night. We bought the VIP tickets for an additional $ 20 because we wanted to have a great night out. When we were seated the hostess was quite rude, and told us we had purchased tickets one in front of each other, rather than side by side. Really? Why would we do that, we just bought two tickets to sit together. After a bit of an argument they let us sit behind the table we were supposedly VIP’s at. By the time the show started the theater was only 50% full, and the table we were supposed to be at was empty. The show was fine, the warm up act a bit slow but the host and headline act were great. After leaving we found out that the VIP tickets were also supposed to get a souvenir T shirt — not a mention of it by anyone at the show. The VIPS tickets were useless, same seats as general seating, no T shirt and $ 20 more. I’d suggest you find another venue unless you are pretty desperate, there are a lot of great shows in vegas.

Came here on a Vegas trip with my co-workers. Our Director recommended the Mac King show, and we weren’t so sure about a comedy magic show at first. BUT, we actually had a really great time! Mac worked with the audience volunteers really well, and the improvisations were the best. This experience was so much more entertaining that I thought it was going to be. I’d definitely recommend for families! Although, be aware that there is a lot of adult content… not TOO graphic, but not for the conservative taste :)

Comedians are what keep me semi-sane, so I will try to set aside my love of comedy and the great company I had that night and focus on the club itself. Size-wise, this is a good club. Smaller than average and not a bad seat anywhere(not always the case at some places). Overall, a good experience, but for the ticket price, I really felt an hour and 15 minutes was a little weak. I understand there is a second show at 10:30, but this show needed to be longer to feel worth it. It is the strip though, and I know most tourists have the attention span of a gnat, so go figure.
