I had fun while taking a stroll down this promenade after getting off the High Roller. It’s the new shopping and dining district between the Flamingo Hotel and Linq Hotel. It used to be a raggedy alleyway between the Flamingo Hotel and O’Sheas Casino. How times have changed. This place is so nice now. The promenade is full of stores and eateries. The stores that caught my eye were Kitson, Ruby Blue, and Havaianas. The eateries that I noticed were Yard House, Ghirardelli, and Sprinkles. I couldn’t help myself. I had to try the ice cream and cupcakes at Sprinkles. They also have the Brooklyn Bowl which is a bowling alley. Right outside of Sprinkles is this fountain that I was attracted to. The water would dance high and low with coordinating lights. It was kind of like the Fountains at Bellagio but on a much smaller scale. There’s really no comparison but you get my drift.

The Linq Promenade is located, you got it, right behind the Linq hotel & casino. What a great addition it is! It’s a great hangout, there’s plenty of shopping. Quite a few restaurants(check out Flour & Barley), also the some dessert places for that sweet tooth. Besides gaining access to the Linq hotel… keep walking and you can enter O’Shea’s, and other bars or you can even enter the Flamingo Casino. There’s also Brooklyn Bowl. The Linq Promenade is pretty much a walkway that lands up bringing you to the«high roller» but what’s wrong with a couple of stores & entertainment on the way there. Enjoy yourselves!

For the longest time, this part of The Strip was uneventful and who walked on that side anyways other than to get from one end to the another?! Well, be bored no more! The LINQ Promenade totally reminds me of Downtown Santa Monica or The Grove in Los Angeles because it’s so open and pretty! We walked down here when all the Christmas decorations were up and it was the evening so the lights lit up the entire street. Lots of shopping and food options down here. Walk all the way down and you’ll find yourself at the High Roller(aka the giant ferris wheel WOW!) Definitely worth a stroll and a trip down the Promenade.

I’ve been to the promenade a few times and the latest visit was for a Royal Crawl(digital poker run!) event for prizes! I went with family in town for Thanksgiving. The Promenade is a great outdoor space with a nice variety of restaurants, bars and shops. It was nicely decorated for the holidays too! Parking hasn’t been difficult all the times I’ve parked here, and it sure beats parking in a garage. One of the perks of the royal crawl was a ride on the High Roller! Yippee. Also, 4 drinks at bars located within the LINQ! Among our stops were Brooklyn Bowl, TAG bar and Kitson. Kitson is a great stop to check out their kitsch and maybe pick up a few gifts. Though we didn’t win the poker run, we enjoyed the High Roller ride and the drinks!

The LINQ promenade is a large outdoor plaza with bars, restaurants and stores located around Flamingo and LINQ, or what used to be old Imperial Palace. It also houses the High Roller, similar to a giant Ferris wheel and is the World’s Largest Observation deck with some odd 550-feet high! London Eye is about 100-feet shorter. We’ve only come here during the day-time and it seemed to be a pretty happening place with lots of places to sit. Its close to Halloween now and they have lots of statues and puppets of some very scary monsters. The murals are also cool — giving the place a hip vibe. There were a few street performers, but nowhere near the amount in downtown Fremont St or near the main Strip. Highly recommend coming here for a nice stroll to take a break from gambling or after having a big meal.
