The Mac King Comedy Magic Show

Mac is the boss! He is funny and the show is great. The kids and adults will love it. Go on Unilocal and get half off then get some low priced drinks from the bar and enjoy.

I love magic, but I hate magicians who do the same ol’ schtick. Mac King is not of that ilk. There is a reason his contract keeps getting renewed. My Wife and I loved him on Penn & Teller «Fool Us». and when we went to Las Vegas, we saw that he was performing… In OUR HOTEL!!! …Suh-​WEET! We thought he was hilarious on Fool Us, and he was even better in person. So cool to get our pics with him after the show! He will meet with everyone. He’s a groovy dude.

Seriously loved the show! He was entertaining and had some really cool tricks! He interacted with the audience in a way that we all felt like part of the show! I will see his show again!!!

Mac is a great guy with a reasonable show. Fun for kids and mildly entertaining. When he’s «on,» he can be excellent. But his humor isn’t for everyone.

This is a totally awesome show. Mac King is very funny and entertaining. It’s great for the family and you can get souvenirs signed. And when I say «souvenirs», I mean great deals on Mac King magic sets, puzzles, and T-​shirts. Great for kids and adults. $ 200 for a family of 4 might seem pricey… Until you’ve seen the show. He’s great at surprising you when you least expect it and he can lure you into the fact that he can’t do a certain trick. Until he pulls it off. Like I said, he’s very funny and quirky, but that doesn’t mean he can’t pull off some amazing tricks. Thank you for reading this long wall of text.

A great show (esp for kids) in the afternoon at Harrah’s. This show is much cheaper, at $ 25 – 35, than most of the other magic shows on the Strip. Really enjoyed his humor, Fig Newtons, and esp his guinea pig! He hangs around afterwards, so be sure to check in on Unilocal for a free photograph!

OMG — Mac King is WONDERFUL!!! an amazing magician (get front row seats and you will still be totally baffled!) and hilarious comedian — and relatively family safe! (some silly slight sexual references, but they are pretty innocuous for the young, who won’t udnerstand)
IMO, Mac is one of the must see acts in Vegas! (and you can get discount tickets if you look at Harrahs) — great show — great talent!

Wonderful comedy show for the whole family. He adds a little adult humor in his act, but the kids loved it. We laughed a lot and have some great memories of the show!

Mac King is hilarious! The show was funny and amazing at the same time. I couldnt figure out how he did any of his tricks. Especially the finale. This show is definitely worth seeing! There are usually people waiting outside of Harrah’s and handing out free tickets for the show! All you have to do is buy a drink, which is around $ 14. That’s the cheapest way to see the show. Regular priced tickets without drinks are a lot more expensive.

Perfect show for your family and friends. I definitely would recommend it to anyone who likes magic. If I could, I’d bring my bf because it was that entertaining. Mac king has funny jokes up his sleeve too, which makes the show even more intriguing.
Also do NOT record or take picture with your cellphone or camera during the show because Mac King actually pointed that individual out when Mac saw him recording his son (son was a volunteer). You cab take a picture with Mac king after the show, he’s a very cool guy.

A reasonably priced honest performance. Good show for kids during the day. Mac King is a nice and humble performer with great tricks.

I did not expect to like this show. I’ve been getting free vouchers for this for years and never tried it because it looked like a lame show. But this week, we had our son with us and I needed some cheap entertainment for him. Went to the Total Rewards counter, showed my card, and asked for a voucher. Yey!
So the real price of the show is about 40-​something dollars for standard seating. DON’T ever get that because you can get it cheap in different ways. 1.) the Half Off tickets booths will almost always have tickets at about $ 25. 2.) Online Vegas sites 3.) Unilocal deal for about $ 25 per person 4.) free voucher from Total Rewards membership
So back to my story… I showed my voucher to the box office. They explained the one drink minimum. So the total I paid was about 15 bucks each. When we got to the usher, he led us to a different line than those who got the standard seating tickets. So it turns out, those who did not use a voucher get to be seated up front. We get the seats with tables. That sounds nice but my son and I had to twist to the side to watch the show. Two strangers were also seated next to us. I would have liked it much better if we were sitting on the standard seats because you are closer to the action and Mac gets volunteers from that area. The drinks were mostly alcoholic. But since my son is 12, the bartender gave us the Daiquiris without alcohol=p Basically, smoothies.
As a lot of the reviewers warned, Mac does have a lot of jokes with sexual innuendos. But you can tell that the kids don’t really understand it anyway since only adults laugh when those jokes come up. There are jokes for everyone. The audience was a good mix, ranging from really old to really young. My son, who is very hard to keep entertained because of his electronic gadget addiction and low attention span, actually enjoyed the show. He was amazed by the tricks and laughed at whatever jokes he can understand. The magic was amazing enough that even I was impressed. But just as others said, this is not the glitzy, high production value show many people have come to expect in Vegas. You get what you pay for. But it is great value for good ol’ family fun.
The only thing I hated: FORCED PICTURE TAKING!!! Why force us to get our photos taken? You’re just wasting a bunch of photo paper. If you would charge half the price you’re charging for the photo ($ 25 cost for your photo with a photoshopped Mac and a hard cover), maybe you’ll get more buyers.

I may go back JUST to see that one illusion again. INCREDIBLE!!!
Mk doesnt take 1000 yrs with each trick like some magicians. LOTS of illusions and just the right amount of comedic banter.
A must see for ALL ages.

Went with stepson. We had some time to kill and got seats through tix 4 tonight for only $ 24 each for afternoon show. Had a great time. Mac King did some amazing up close magic along with keeping the audience engaged with his humor. He picks several people from the audience to bring on stage to help with his performance.
If you have some time in the afternoon, check him out, you won’t be disappointed.
He will also hang out after the show for autographs and picture taking. Really nice guy.

I am not one for a corny magic show (I have had my fair share going with my husband). So when he said, «Let’s go and see The Mac King Show»… I was less than excited to spend my afternoon in a theatre watching slapstick comedy.
BUT HOLD ON A MINUTE… this comedy magic show was like the Pixar of magic shows (a whole helping of ADULT humor peppered throughout this 90 minute casserole of magic)! A real «afternoon delight» (wink!) that our whole family could sink it’s teeth into. I don’t want to give away the show, but I was smiling and laughing the whole time. I loved the guinea pig!!!
I was throughly impressed with Mac King’s ability to take his audience on such a magical and fun adventure…(when I clearly wasn’t going to have any part of it.)
I’m a true Mac King fan now! I wish that I would have bought the picture at the end of the performance of our family… Mac King would have signed it :-(

LOVED his show! Such an amazing and funny person. A perfect mix of magic and comedy. His magic tricks are CRAZY! Every show is different because the volunteers he picks are different but no doubt Mac King makes all his improvs and shows funny! GO WATCH HIM NOW!
We went to Harrahs total rewards counter and asked if they had any deals for the Mac King show and they gave us FREE tickets with the purchase of a drink per person (about $ 12 each). Get there a little earlier for good seats and the bar/​drinks line can get long and you might miss parts of the show. so go early! But GO NOW!

Funny and magical :)
We are staying at the Harrah’s hotel here in Las Vegas. We wanted to see a magic show and of course Penn and Teller and all that great stuff was sold out but we wanted to give this guy a try even though we never heard of him.
We bought our tickets at the hotel lobby and we decided to upgrade to VIP seating. This isn’t the show’s fault but we had lots of difficulty settling once in the theatre because of communication from the lobby receptionist who we bought the tickets from… Our ticket promotion came with free buffet meals as well and she also told us we would get free drinks… Went in line and we were denied saying we didn’t have the proper tickets… Talked to an usher and they just gave us a partial refund, took our buffets away, but still gave us comp drinks. So apparently VIP means booths. tables with chairs but I think I would have rather gone out in the floor and sat closer in the rows. Seating is first come first serve so we thought VIP meant we would get to sit closer but no. further away because of the tables/​chair placement and also because we had a two year old.
Then we were told we could not sit out on the floor because we had a two year old with us. Even though we have the most well behaved two year old with us we still understand that they didnt want toddlers up there so we had to sit at a booth to the side of the theatre because there were six of us adults and the infant and booths fit four people comfortably they said.
We were also told that the show was one and a half hours long but it was only one hour long. The magic was entertaining and most jokes were funny though at some parts it felt like he was trying too hard. I almost felt sorry for him iince the house was not as full as it could have been. Also there are some jokes that may not be as «family friendly» as it claims to be but I suppose kids wouldn’t understand anyway. For example he does an impression of Elvis and says «Hello everybody, I’m a magician… Today I’m going to magizz… all over you…»
I’m like… ok??? Haha.
Overall it was a nice time, very short show but magic was still impressive. there is also audience participation which always makes each show different and fun! At the end of the show he comes out and you can say hi and take a picture with him.

I went to see this show in May, as i love magic, and, i have to say, i really enjoyed it.
It was funny, really funny (i love this kind of humor, a little bit naïve, childlike, with a lot of innuendos) and even if i’m not totally fluent in english, i was able to understand everything. Some of his jokes, i still don’t know where he found it… but i loved it.
This is definitely a super show with a lot of fun and good tricks, and i can only recommend to go and see it.

Great and funny show. A must see in Vegas. I would see again. I Highly recommend the show. 10 of 10!
