the lady gave us the first janky trailor and didn’t even check the tires before we left. 70 miles down the road and the tire is shredded.

Rented a U-​Haul for a 7 mile move. Made one trip and returned truck with full tank of gas within about 4 hours. Thieves charged my debit card $ 76 for gas! This resulted in my bank account being overdrawn and closed!
Went in to talk to the manager who was a total douche bag. He smirked and laughed at me telling me they charge people all the time and nothing ever happens to them.
I suggest photographing the mileage to anyone using one of these unsafe and poorly maintained vehicles. You will need it. Also, the Better Business Bureau and AG are on to their scam so take the time to report them.
