First, I want to say that I immediately fell in love with my bob weave($ 250 Duchess package, which includes the install of(14,14in) virgin Malaysian). When Sasha finished my hair and turn me around in the chair, I was very happy with the finished product(this was on a Thursday) . On Wednesday night(a week later) my head started to itch like crazy, but I thought to myself«this is the life of wearing weaves». However, on Thursday night, my head was itching again and at this point it was an unbearable pain that went along with the itching. I was really worried and wondering what the problem could have been(definitely not the common weave itching). So, Friday, morning I looked up possible causes for the itching and the pain I was feeling. I found that braid hair can sometimes cause allergies if it is not clean. So, I went to Weave A Diva that morning to consult with the stylist with hope that someone can give me insight and maybe solve the problem that I was having(severe itching and pain to touch). I was told initially«well weaves itch»(really at this point I new customer service wasn’t their strong suit). Then I was advised to see a dermatologist because she had never heard of this before. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and considered it, but I couldn’t help to think of the many braids and weaves I’ve had in the past(I’ve never had this issue). I was curious as to what kind of product they put in my head. So, I asked what kind of braid hair they used, she told me kanekalon hair(yea, I figured that) I had to ask to see the package. She then suggested I try washing my hair because again she’s never heard of what I was talking about and maybe it could be the net, hair or I’m allergic and /or try to spray my scalp or wash my hair. So, I asked her to look at my scalp she did and told me she didn’t see anything through the net. I couldn’t help but think(your the cosmetologist ask me to look at my scalp and/or offer to take it down to figure out the irritants, Right?). There was nothing more offered. I went ahead and asked if they would wash it for free, considering it could be the products they used causing the irritant(she said it) The answers was no. Then the manager offered to wash my hair for free, but charge me $ 25 to style my hair again. I agreed as I couldn’t wait to get some relief. The manager washed my hair and was attentive to what I was feeling though out that process. However, I had my hair styled by another stylist which was very unexpected and honestly my hair didn’t look as good as it did initially or even when I came in that day. Any how, the itching ceased for a couple of hours. I was literally afraid to touch, sleep or wear anything On my head. I had a trip to California already planned, so I went on the trip and had to bare with the irritation. As soon as I got back. I had my aunt take out my weave. You won’t believe the matted mess of whisker that was found along the weft of the hair that was underneath the beauty of such a great hair style. I knew immediately that this was not virgin Malaysian hair. I was relieved and my scalp no longer itched nor did I have pain(see pics for details). The weft of the weave had long spiky, matted and course hairs that stuck out like cactus prongs from the track causing an irritation to my scalp. To make a long story short(lol) I went to Weave A Diva, to inform them of the non quality hair that was put in my head(I’m sure they new) and to ask for a reimbursement as this was an at least 6 week investment that didn’t last over a 1 week due to the irritation it caused. I was told«you supposed to comb out that part of the weft»(wow that’s a new one) and«we don’t do refunds». Not surprised($ 250 lost, oh well) but, Ladies and Gentle Men PLEASEBEWARE… HORRIBLEPRODUCTSANDLACKOFCUSTOMERAPPRECIATIONANDSERVICE!!! I’m going to start going back to California for my weave installs. I won’t be swindled there… Lol!

Came here because my friend referred me to Fay. So I called and made my appointment: nice and easy transaction. Since I’m a first time customer, I was asked to fill out general information about myself as well as what hair style and package I desired. They listed the rules of the shop such as: no men or children allowed unless serviced and how they are not responsible for persons with tender heads. After signing, I got braided up pretty quick by the braider named Tierra(I think that’s her name). She didn’t braid too tight and whether you have thick hair or not, they do add hair while braiding. Not sure why The shop is painted purple and average looking. Nothing modern and upgraded, but it’s not a hole in the wall either. The beauticians have their licences posted near their station. So Fay is licenced. I’m always looking for licensure in places! I had to wait a while(like at least 45 mins) for Fay because she was still with her client before me. I wasn’t in a rush so i wasn’t too inconvenienced. I got the $ 60 package(Countess) and since I brought in used hair, it was an extra $ 25. This, I was already aware of so my total was as expected: $ 85. Fay did my hair pretty quick. She has a wonderful personality and I enjoyed her company. I was at the shop for a good 3 hours. As for the actually sew in, It’s definitely $ 65 quality. There are a few lumps around the edges, but nobody gon be touching my head, so I really don’t care. I’ve had way better sew ins, but I’ve also paid much more and those were for two very special events. Since I’m not going anywhere special enough to pay crazy prices, the price here was prefect for exactly what I needed.

OMG. Tia SLAAAAAAAAAAAAYED my hair for years honey ! Consider me a lifetime customer. I’m so happy with my hair, does constant hair flips … Flip flip flip. I am a first time weave getter and I am so pleased. I brought in three bundles of hair and she managed to get it ALL in & my hair doesn’t look bulky. My only recommendation is for the stylist to introduce themselves. The first girl who’s chair I sat in didn’t introduce herself and I didn’t know I would be switching stylist until it happened. Other than that love the place, love the atmosphere. Go Divas !

Professional stylists… perfectionists! All of the stylist practice the same method. The weaves come with a nice curled style. They wash and maintain your style… keeping it fresh. They even offer removal services and offer a great quality of virgin hair! This is a full service salon. Great prices… honest and clean business! Weave a divas rocks and I have found a permanent home to slay my hair!

My first time going out to a beauty shop. The owner was very helpful with picking out weave packages. I was greeted upon arriving and the whole environment was cool. I made my appointment 2÷20÷16 for 2pm and there was another person getting her hair done. It was no big deal having to wait less than 30 minutes. The stylist Tia that braided my hair was very cool and I am very tender headed and it did not hurt. I just made sure I combed my hair, before I went… So there wasn’t any naps. The stylist Sasha took her time doing my hair and she slayed it. My hair was completed within less than 2 hours. I love my hair and I’m going back in 3 weeks. I would recommend this location to anyone.

Just got my first full head weave and it took less than 2 hours and was perfect! Slayed. I don’t get why people are saying they were hurt. I am a tenderheaded person. I don’t even like blow drying my hair and have had my hair braided since I was young. I’ve had my hair braided by 2 of the 3 stylists and never had any issue. They are quick and it doesn feel like they are grabbing your scalp. Anyone who thinks they braid tight maybe shouldn’t get their hair braided at all. Oh, and let me just say that I am NOT baldheaded I have hair and weaves are helping it grow more. Just my thoughts.

The hottest of messes. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here. Let me start by saying I am a hair stylist(that hates to do her own hair), so I know how a good salon should operate and this salon is no bueno. When I walked in no one greeted me or even acknowledged my presence for about 20 mins. I came about 15 minutes before my scheduled time and and my stylist had a girl in her chair that she was blow drying; I sat and waited for the duration of a full installment! Im pretty patient so I didn’t trip. Once I got into the chair my stylist started to comb my long, thick, 4c natural hair with a RATTAILCOMB!!! I tried to hint to her that this hurt and I didnt want her to do it and she kept going after expressing to me that what she was doing was mandatory. Girl bye! Then,(this is the kicker) I washed my hair the night before and expressed to her that it was clean and if she wanted to blow dry it we could just wet it and go from there. This heffa said«I aint got time for all of that,»!!! Bish wha?! I PAID for a full wash and you cant even wet my hair for me?! Then she proceeds to blow dry my ALREADYDRYHAIR with a blow dryer. By this time I was pissed tf off but I had to have my hair done that day, so I had no choice but to stay. So after braiding my hair into the big, chunky, dookie braids she proceeded to sew my hair on. Before going in I called to make sure my stylist knew how to work with silk closures. They assured me that she did but while she was sewing it on she said«you should’ve gotten a lace closure.» SMH! I could tell by all the rearranging and tugging that she had no idea what she was doing. When I was done I looked like I had a hat made of hair sewn onto my head. I hated it so much I went to another salon to get it fixed 5 days later and even my new stylist couldn’t believe that someone did my hair like that. I was so disgusted by the whole experience. These chicks have bad attitudes, they were dogging customers after they left/while they were in the bathroom and judging by all the non existent edges on majority of the stylists(and the customers) and the care, or lack there of that was shown to my natural hair, I would say these ladies are either out to get people with long hair, or they just want to make as much money as possible with no regards for the needs of the consumer.

The only reason I’m not giving this place 5 starts is because I haven’t had my weave in long enough(5 days) to see how long the sew in lasts. With that being said, they do call and send an email reminder the day before your appt which I love. The salon is spacious inside and the girls are awesome. Easy to talk to and started my hair right on time. They provide 100% virgin Malaysian hair and you can tell them a day before your appt if you want it dyed or not. You can also bring in your hair if you want. I paid $ 250 for 2 bundles, cut, style and full sew in all together. Sasha was my girl! She also makes wigs too. From braid to finish it took about 2.5 hours which was faster than I expected. I went from 4 inches of hair to 16 in a day :-) If it lasts long, I will definitely be coming back.

Do not go here! These ladies are rude and unprofessional, they do not know anything about taking care of natural hair. their weaves are mediocre and they charge you 25 $ for every little thing on top of the fact that they tell you that your hair will only be sixty dollars and you’ll walk out paying 175.00. Just stay away, you’re better going off to somebody’s kitchen salon !

It took 2.5 hours(I really don’t know why it took that long). Anyway, I went in for what they’re known for«$ 60 sew-in» and left paying $ 85! They charge«an additional fee to be disclosed by the stylist @ the time of service» for simple things like not cutting the weft or REUSING your hair. I have NEVER heard of a shop/stylist charging for reusing hair. Or continuously sewing, that’s ridiculous!!! If it’s going on my head then I should be the only one deciding that and NOT paying an additional fee. The actual work was good for $ 60(NOT $ 85) but it didn’t lay as flatly as possible and using the pomade to slick my hair down is not the look I like but before I could say anything it was slapped on my edges. I will NEVER return and I would never recommend anyone. If you’re okay with getting your hair chopped up, not reusing your hair or not having a really flat sew-in then don’t go here! Otherwise go for it just know you’re paying more than $ 60AFTER you’ve invested an hour of time getting your hair braided. I also hated the fact that they add hair although my hair is super thick… But like I said, lessons learned. NEVERAGAIN!

Today was my first time there, I was very discouraged about weaves from a previous experience. Chauffe did my hair and I absolutely love it!!! The prices are very reasonable. While I was there the ladies was talking about charity work they have done and plan on doing in the future, they are good hairstylist and good women!!! You must go to Weave a Divas, definitely a must!!!

I had my first of what I am sure will be MANY appointments with Weave A Divas on Sunday, Nov. 24,2013 ! These ladies are so kind, so friendly, and very professional. The place was easy to find, it’s a warm environment and I look so good, I am posing all day at work! Ha ha ha! Thank you again ladies and may you have a great holiday weekend! Thank you so so much! Fay, you the one. I was so relaxed i almost fell asleep! My hair is not pulling and i feel so natural with what i got done. If you want to get your hair done really nicely for an affordable price. Come here! Please bring 2 packs of human hair and come with your hair washed and already blow dried. They braid your hair down and add the hair for you. There are several package price offerings. Don’t forget to tip these ladies. They do a great job. I feel just like the name of the package I got: the QUEEN! Thank you again ladies. I cannot wait to come again and get all dolled up. This place has several services besides weaves. They do everything. Read the web site carefully and never be afraid to ask questions. Before I ever went i was on their face book page and asked lots of questions. They were politely and professionally answered. Book your appointment a week in advance. Show up a few minutes early to fill out a few papers and if there is a wait, bring something to do. These girls work fast and i was out of there in 2 hours.

I told her not to do that it would make the hair shed more and she said«we do it all the time an if you want me to go back to back it’s an extra $ 25» she was so rude unprofessional and unpleasant and the kicker is that the owner sat there and let her talk to me like that!! tracks lifted after a week and I immediately had it taken out and went to a salon that really knew what they were doing and worked for and deserved their money and customer. They were just so ghetto and you are a fool if you give these ratchet broads your money or let them in your heads!!! Their work isn’t even that detailed and it never looks fully finished. Follow your first mind and go to the higher priced salons. They are not worth it!
