Wet Seal

Let me just start by saying that the only reason I gave this store 2 stars instead of 1 is because it was one of my favorite stores during my teen years. But since I worked there for 6+ months thing just got worse and worse, starting with the managers. Number 1, Maria was my first manager and Kareena was right under her. Kareena was the reason that I got the job in the first place so I was grateful to her until one day. I was behind the cash register and she rubbed her hand against my back area and I gave her a look. I was also a minor at the time so after that I never felt safe around her againand she made me VERY uncomfortable. After that day, she became more snappy and argumentative with me and I’ll never know if it was because she tried to make a move on me or not. Number 2, they were racist towards customers and would laugh and talk bad about people throughout the day. Luckily all of the managers got let go or transferred. Girls make sure you stay alert for everything.

I’m clearly not the target demographic for this store anymore but they have plenty of items and staffing levels were good. They have lots of stock and good sales, so I see the appeal.
Service could be better. We stood in what we thought was the line to checkout, it wasn’t until some time did the cashier let us know we were in the wrong line. Would have been nice if she told us a little sooner so we didn’t waste our time since she saw us, but I digress… good for what it is.

Came in looking for one pair of short jeans and walked out with 5! There was a sale! Broke the bank but love my jeans… all bright colors.
