Giving two stars because the lady at the counter was a total sour puss. We got no welcome, no smile. We asked about pizzas and she was bitchy about that like how dare we ask about a slice… after lunch. When she brought our food to the table, she literally plopped it down and walked away. No «enjoy» no thank you… terrible service. You just served a chef and an event planner. Guess who I WILLNOT recommend? The hot dog was good and had a nice little snap and the roll was good. It could’ve used more green relish, in my opinion. I’d like to try a pie, but might not return because of the service. Everyone else got a hello, a thank you, a «what part of Chicago are you from?» We stood at the counter, looking at the menu and my associate was saying he’d like a dog but no fries, repeatedly. She never offered up the info that he could do that so I asked and she simply said, «3 and a quarter.» Not, «sure, we can do that.» Not a nice thing about how she treated us. Not one. Terrible service.

The 2 stars are for the Italian beef sandwich. Now to be fair I am comparing this to Portillo’s in Chicago. So compared to there Italian beef, Windy city had very little flavor to the beef and I also had it wet which also brought very little flavor to the Sandwich. We also got the loaded Chicago style pizza to take with us which I give 4 stars, Would have been 5 but there was sliced carrots in it. They didn’t cook soft so there was a crunchy piece of carrot in every other bite. Had to be a mistake, who puts carrots in a pizza pie. I would go back for the pizza without carrots, but not the beef sandwhich.

I’m convinced that an Italian beef with spicy giardinera double-dipped will run . Few things are more delicious, more drippy, gooey, herby, spicy, crunchy. All endorphin receptors firing. Napkins needed for the grass as it creeps down your arms to your elbows. Look, I’m not a professional beef sandwich aficionado but I’d like to think I could be and never gain weight but sadly, I didn’t get that get out of food jail free card… me? I think of one and I gain 5 to 10. But eating one, yegods, this one is good and from what I understand these sandwiches don’t often come with happy people. My people tell me that the norm is a cash only, cranky grimy stand up joint is the norm. This place? Go see for yourself. Oh. Eat. Way more fun than seeing. Other addictive(so I’m told) foods like deep dish pizza, etc are on menu too.

Be sure to check out their deals available at Groupon. Paid $ 19 for one 14″ deep dish pizza with 2 toppings(pepperoni & sausage) 2 side salads and 2 cannoli. Chicago style pizza was on point. It’s high edge and deep surface crust for the large amounts of cheese, chunky tomato sauce and toppings will blow you away to «Windy City» with every bite. You choose the salad dressing for the garden salad and their cannoli’s are divine. The dining area is decorated with Chicago memorabilia.

Ho hum The food is ok, the service was good, but over $ 10 a head for 2 hot dogs, greasy fries and a drink? Me thinks not!

Overall expected a lot more. Got a thin crust with extra toppings and the pizza was soggy and not something to write home about. We ordered the wings and the same thing. Sprite was good though

Great atmosphere, great deep dish, and fun place for Bears games on Sundays. They have a giant projector that makes watching easy for everyone. Ownership is very involved in the business and puts in an obvious effort to make the experience worth while.

I ordered a 16″ pepperoni deep dish Chicago pizza and there’s no cheese what so ever. Only sauce. When I ordered the lady ask if I only wanted pepperoni no other topping and I told her yes. I figure that my pizza should have cheese even if I didn’t ask for it. The pizza isn’t that good either. I was hoping that this joint would be good but I guess I tired. I will just have to wait to go to Chicago for Chicago style pizza one of these days. I stick to pieology next time in Downtown Summerlin.

I had a craving for a Chicago Dog. I remember when this location opened, and had quickly bookmarked this for a later date. Well, I am glad that I did. Living in Illinois for nearly 20 years, I came to love the hot dogs there. I am weird, and get mine without onions or the neon green relish. I just can’t do it. We decided on our order, and then we just stood there waiting for a moment. And continued to wait while the lady behind the register finished up stapling and organizing her previous tickets. When she finally said something, she was animated and friendly. My husband chose the Italian Beef with the spiciest peppers and ‘wet’; and I of course chose my ‘Chicago dog, ‘not’ Chicago dog and fries. They came out fairly quickly. The sandwich and the hot dog were both wrapped in paper, and the fries had their own little bag, which was twisted closed. The fries were thin, and fairly tasty but were not piping hot. My hot dog tasted like I remember them to be, and the Beef was good. Next time, he said that he would choose to have it dipped rather than just wet. This way it will be nice and messy! Yum. As I was getting ready to leave I noticed that they sell large bags of Jay’s Potato Chips. Are you serious?! I could not get over there fast enough to buy a bag. The price on the bag is exactly what I paid. That right there made my whole day. I have not had those for 17 years, and they were just as I remembered them to be.

Great hot dogs, pizza is ok I’m used to new york style pizza because that’s where I’m from so it was very different for me. But pretty good, They are a bit pricy but there aren’t to many places like this around. It has a certain back east feel to the place. Definitely have to try atleast once.

Pricey but just ok. Person behind the counter was very nice. Fries were served in a brown bag, cute! Deep dish pizza was ok, nothing spectacular. Huge tv though so if you want to catch a game, probably get there early enough to get a seat.

Cute place and great food. My boyfriend had come here a couple months before and said that the pizza was really great and the prices were awesome. We stopped by one evening and even though the place was insanely packed(two Chicago games were playing inside), our order came out fast and accurate and the food was really really good. The prices really were reasonable and the servers were still super friendly even though they were so busy. I haven’t tried the pizza yet but I have a feeling I’ll be back to check it out soon!!!

This is by far the best place in Vegas to have authentic Chicago dogs! And to top it off? Everything else is delicious too!!! They have hot wings, fries, pizza(both thin crust and deep dish) and sell beer by the buckets!!! Can someone please say perfection??? The place is always super clean, the brightly painted walls are covered in Chicago sports teams jerseys, photos, etc. & has tv’s everywhere for all to enjoy! Gets pretty crowded w/Bears fans during the games & theyve got drink/app specials & raffles goin on at this time too! Staff is always very friendly and accurate, service is speedy & smiles all around. Its not in the best location, as its tucked in an inside corner of a strip mall kind of hidden from main roads, so look hard for this place, bc its Definately worth checkin out!

Yay! I’m a fan. I’m also a former Chicagoan who appreciates Chgo style food. We enjoyed Italian beef sandwiches last night, ordered wet! Lots of unique Windy City themed wall décor, great souvenir memorabilia, friendly service staff, clean restaurant including the washrooms. They offer condiments for sale that are specifically used for the proper making of a hot dog… such as that delicious neon green relish :) You can even order Vienna Beef hot dogs by the case! And they sell Jays potato chips! They offer thin crust & deep dish pizzas, Italian beefs, Italian sausages, Vienna hot dogs, Maxwell St. Polish, burgers, wings, fingers, fries, chili cheese fries, gyros, corned beef reubens, desserts, beer & wine, more! Tuesdays, they offer .50 cent wings! They are small, crunchy, naked and pretty good! Sauces are limited to what I am told as Frank’s Red Hot Sauce as the Hot, then they dilute it w/butter for the Medium, dilute it a bit more for the Mild, and they also offer BBQ. Push a pin on the Cook County map indicating where you’re from. They are open for dine in or carry out, starting lunch everyday at 11am and closing at 9pm, except Fri/Sat nights they stay open til 10pm. They even offer delivery up to a 5 mile radius! Plenty of seating inside among all the flat screen TVs, but if the weather was cooler, we’d opt to enjoy dining at the nice outdoor patio with a statue fountain in the courtyard outside the front doors. Located in the Silverado Ranch Plaza – southwest corner of Silverado Ranch & Eastern, aka the Target Shopping Center. Try it, you’ll be back; we’ll be back!

Diane and I tried Windy City Beefs N Pizza for the first time and found its Italian Beef Sandwich and Chicago Dog to be as good as what is served at its sister property, Windy City Beefs-N-Dogs. But her Canadian Bacon & Extra Cheese Pizza was burnt, very thin, inexplicably cut into small squares, and fairly pedestrian. Money for the pizza was refunded after Diane turned down an offer for a new pizza, but a Corn Dog replacement was accepted. No problem here, except the cashier refused to take any additional money for the Corn Dog. A #4 Windy City’s Best of Both Worlds featuring a Vienna Beef Chicago Dog and a 3-inch Beef Sandwich yielded just the right amount of food to assuage my hunger. The dog’s relish was emerald green with zippy Sport Peppers, while the lean beef was tucked inside a soft bun with sweet Green Peppers and melting white cheese just dripping in juices. Service, too, was excellent.

I’ve come to love the hot dog that’s smothered with their hot dog chili, so much so that the staff working here is telling the line cooks in the back my order as soon as I walk in the door! That’s Nina for you! I don’t come here too often, but the employees here greet not only me by first name, but all their regular customers that come in. Very cool and bumped up a star for it. Anyways like their hot dogs, the chili w/no beans are Vienna Beef brand. Authentic Chicago. I like that the chili sauce is not too spicy and not too thick or runny either. The #3 also comes with fries in a separate paper bag. They also have pizza at this location. I still have yet to try. One of these days I’ll try that corned beef rueben sandwich too! Most menu items are under $ 10 for hot dogs and sandwiches. Pretty reasonable. They also still print out a monthly calendar with the daily specials, Or check out the chalkboard in front of register for specials of the day.

I’ve had this place bookmarked for a while now and when my hubby and my mom wanted lunch one day I knew they’d dig this place. First of be prepared to wait or call it in first. Since I checked their menu out via Unilocal prior I knew exactly what we wanted to order. I ordered the # 4 which is the Vienna Chicago Dog and a 3inch Beef Sandwich which I had them dip in the au jus. Joel ordered the #10 which was a full sized Beef Sandwich dipped with sweet peppers and cheese. I brought mine home to share with my mom and Joel took his back to work. By the time I got home I had a phone call from Joel saying how epically awesome the sandwich was! The taste was truly like Chicago! The hot dog yum! The snap of the meat and the sport peppers added the perfect spice. The meat on the sandwich was thin and tender. Mmmmm we’ve been talking about it ever since. Other then the long wait you can’t go wrong with Windy City. I can’t wait to go back to try the pizza and another sandwich. Great flavor and huge portions are assured you in every bite!
