Beer and pizza?! Hells yeah! What a great combo! Finding this place is a bit tricky, I dont go to the strip very often so I was hella lost but finally arrived and greeted by Nate and his boo. I walked in on everyone already learning and talking about the brews. It was very educational and this was just part one! We loaded into the bus and made our way to GB to where all the magic happens! Upon going we got to see and learn about how they produce the product, how much each contained, and we even got to smell the various ingredients! AWESOME! When we got back there was Metro Pizza waiting for us! My favorite was the chicken pizza! Thank you to Nate, Rich, and everyone who put this event together! Yay!

Ok hats off to Nathan yet again, Alcohol-Education-Pizza(in that order) is the best way to describe this event. We started at Sin City Brewing for a sample of each beer, all were great, hell ZI even liked the IPA(normally not my bag), Next was a tour of the brewery itself, that’s the education portion of the evening, for those of you keeping score. After some more samples and some pictures at the brewery we went back to bar for much need beer, and much needed pizza. Thank you Metro Pizza! Followed by more beer. I recommend everything at Sin City Brewing Co. ads well as Metro Pizza. Looking forward to the next elite event! Live it up you are in Las Vegas for cryin’ out loud!

So I am finally taking the time to review this event I went too. It has been a long time since I’ve taken the time to join an Elite Event. Needless to say there is a new Community Manager and he is AWESOME. I’ve have had the pleasure to meet the first two and they have all been nice but Nathen is the only one that’s taken the time to chat with me one on one and really showed interest in me as a Unilocaler. It’s not to say Mistis and Drew weren’t good, but Nathen is great! I think this event was perfect not only because it’s a beer drinking event, but it allowed me to get to know some of the Elite Unilocalers. As for the event! Sin City Brewry… well I was pleasantly surprise on how much I enjoyed most of their brew… unfortunately I didn’t write down all the drafts they sample but I will say this, each and every one went down smoothly and flavorful! I plan on going back and I am grateful that Nathen introduce us to this venue. Overall my experience was awesome and I look forward to another planned event by our CM!

What a fun and interesting event! We had the opportunity to actually see the entire process on how to make beer. Rick from sin city brewery was awesome! He took the time to answer all of our weird questions and give us all of the information behind the scenes! This event was not only fun but very informative! After we saw all the beer equipment we went back to sin city brewery and kept tasting some of the beers they have on tap. I would recommend the hefeweizen! This beer was fresh and crisp with not a very strong after taste which I liked. They also have some IPAs and their seasonal beer which of-course changes on a regular basis. To top it off, we had the opportunity to try some of metro’s huge pizza slices! I had sausage and pepperoni slice as well as the eggplant pizza. Let me tell you that I would never change my meat for vegetable, but in this case I would! The eggplant pizza was soo good, very flavorful! We definitely appreciated metro pizza being part of the event, I will have to visit them soon! Nate, great job pulling this amazing and fun event! Oh wait and did I mentione that we rolled in style! Sin city brewery got us a party bus for the night! It brought me back to 1999! Sooo much fun, gotta get me one of those for my next bday party!

«Although it was small in size, it was mighty in fun.» Ok, so maybe I’m not the best at thinking of cool quotes. But attempting to sum up all the great things about this event into a simple quote would be kinda difficult. Going into all the details of this event I felt would be redundant, so I wanted to just write a quick few sentances about how it made me feel. First and foremost, I want to express how genuinely stoked I am to have a CM like Nate. I mean, this guy is just«cooooolness» personified. I feel like I have to step up my game around him, which is a good thing, right? He has raised the bar, and is willing to meet everyone halfway. If we do the work, than so will he. I like it. So, yeah. Thanks Nate! I’m begining to stregthen my pride in being a Las Vegas Unilocaler. Since this event was kept small, I felt the closeness and intamacy of really getting to know a few new people in the community, while reconfirming and strengthening the pre-established bonds with the ones I know and already love. The beer was fresh and the pizza was tasty, all around creating a relaxed, chill vibe(I mean, come on… It’s pizza and beer). One of the highlights was the party bus with the stripper pole inside! So hilarious, and although none of us got really down and dirty, I have to say Queenie and I shared a moment I won’t soon forget LOL I wanna give a shout-out to Julio. He really gave me some excellent versions of some German beer history lessons and a couple nifty abridged background stories on the beers, as well. Thanks Julio!

With my history at Unilocal events you’d think I was once again camped out at the bar and slamming drinks until I was shit faced. You’d think. No I actually took it very easy to my standards. So if you didn’t make it to YEE: ‘Tis the Season of Craft Beer you missed a fun alcohol filled event on the Strip which happen to have a party bus, we are in Vegas after all. Two groups of Unilocalers took over the Sin City Brewing Company’s Harmon Corner location and was presented with a sampling of their various beers. Lets see if I can remember them all. There were six of them a hefeweizen which is my usual go to type of beer who am I kidding all types are my go to, a stout which they described as similar to Guinness, a light, an amber, a seasonal, and an IPA. Julio, one of SCBC guys, did an excellent job explaining each before distributing them out. After the sampling we took it the street in true Vegas fashion in a sweet party bus with neon lights, tvs, loud music, and a stripper pole by Elite Transportation. Yes Elites got to ride an Elite bus. And then there was the stripper pole, the infamous stripper. It was only a matter of time and strategic placed kegs of beer before our bus got crazy and took it to that pole, so many inappropriate pictures and video was taken. kidding. The bus brought us to and from the beer tour which was down the road at the Gordon Biersch. Rich, who I believe was the owner, was awesome in educating us on what went into making their beer and he was a very chill guy to converse with. We got to drink more beer on the tour. When the tour was over we headed back to SCBC to enjoy some pizzas courtesy of Rebecca from Metro Pizza and finish up the YEE. I gotta admit that I have Metro Pizza at least once a week. Pizza and beer is always a great combination. Thanks Rich, Rebecca, Julio, Nate, Tiffany, Sin City Brewing Company, Metro Pizza, Elite Transportation, Unilocal, and everyone involved in the event. Thanks all for the swag, coupon, and generous pours. And Group Two was the best group of the two just saying. Haha. See you all at the next one.

Another awesome Unilocal Elite Event! Big thanks to Nate & Tiffany, Sin City Owner Rich & staffs, and Metro Pizza team. I really love the different varieties of events held by Las Vegas Community, so far i have attended 3, and the events surprised me every single time. I mean, i can do this forever. haha… never feel bored or repetitive… All the events were well organized, right group size of Unilocalers, delightful refreshments, hearty menus and interesting drinks. Btw, i love the new name tag for elites… YAYyyy… no more hair got pulled out from the stickers… lol We mingled with other Unilocalers in the Sin City Brewery while waiting our ride to the brewery site, tried the beer flight, from the lightest to the strongest smoky favors, Light, Amber, Weisse, Seasonal, Stout and IPA(hope i got them right). Overall my fav are Stout and IPA. Stout tastes like Guinness which is my all time fav, I love their IPA too, which has a refresh aroma after taste, i just cant stop sipping it! Highlight of the day was our PARTYBUS ride to Gordon Biersch, where the brewery locates. The neon lights, the beer, lady gaga, and the pole dancing performing by Nate(haha just kidding). It was absolutely a joy ride! Thanks Sin City Brewery for the upgrade! Rich provided us an informative tour on beer brewing, also we got to smell or taste(ur choice!) the ingredients, barley & hops, and tried their seasonal brew. And there’s hot pizza provided by metro pizza awaiting for us in the shop!!! Beer & pizza, I’m a happy camper!

I’m not a huge beer person, in fact, anyone who knows me, knows I am not a beer person at all. However, I had yet to meet the new CM Nate, so I decided to RSVP for this event anyway. I got there a little early and met Lisa. We hung out for a bit and finally met up with Nate, who was very friendly and eager to talk with us about our Unilocal experience. Sin City Brewing had 6 different beers for us to sample. Rich, the owner, explained SO much about the process and ingredients. He was so helpful and friendly. How cool was it to get shuttled over via Elite(how ironic) Transportation to the actual brewery? The answer is very cool. The brewery is located in Gordan Biersch. We got to sample some more beer, and see the actual barley and hops. PS, barley is delicious. When we returned, Metro Pizza hooked us up with some pizzas; eggplant and ricotta, a vegetarian one, a meat one and a chicken one. It was nice to munch on some food after sampling all the beer. Great event, WELL organized(thanks to Tiffany O!). I had a great time. Loved seeing all the Unilocalers. I’ve missed you guys so it was great seeing so many friendly faces!

I’ll admit that I didn’t dig Sin City’s brews. I went straight for the IPA and it just wasn’t very IPA, for lack of a better description. If I had to pick one, I’d go with the stout. Not as bold as the stouts and porters we typically enjoy, but certainly smooth and subtle. For the brewmaster, this seems to be the name of the game. Talking to Rich was fantastic. As group two, we didn’t see him until we got to the brewhouse. I had expected it to be in Henderson. But lo and behold, it turns out that Sin City mashes in at Gordon Biersch on Paradise. After hearing about his history – he’s had a hand in building brew facilities all over the US and Canada – the GB connection totally makes sense. The passion that goes into craft beer is universal and Rich is no exception. His brew style seems to be more traditional and aimed at producing a smooth beverage. It was very interesting to hear him describe exactly what he is going for and how he achieves it. And somehow, it was much more enjoyable to drink a full pint of his Steam Beer(aka California Common for legal reasons) while hearing about the brewing process. Overall, this was a great event. Five stars because really, what more could you ask for? Finally met Nate and Tiffany and I appreciated the opportunity to meet the Sin City crew. If Nate manages to put together a Henderson Booze District event, I’m there! Thanks to Metro Pizza for the tasty looking pies that awaited us upon our return. I say«tasty looking» because I had one small slice before I had to rush off to last minute dinner plans. Also, party bus with a stripper pole.

What a great beer tasting event! We arrived a bit early for group 2 so we got to say our hellos and good byes to group 1. Then promptly checked in via our mobiles and then received our elite badges. I have to say I really dig the new check-in system and the supper friendly Tiffany! First I would like to say a huge thanks to Nate for organizing this great night. This was my first event with the new CM and it did not disappoint! We started out with a very informative tasting courtesy of the amazing Julio. He not only educated us on beer, but made it fun and enjoyable. We sampled an IPA which was surprisingly tasty, a Stout which at a first sip didn’t think I would like, but then the coffee notes changed my mind, the Weiss tasted like cloves to me and was delicious, the Amber which was my second favorite and then the Seasonal Steam Amber which I thought was the best! The evening started with the tasting at Sin City and then we were off to catch our shuttle. But this was no ordinary shuttle this was a party bus with strip pole, neon lights, and great music. Wow, I was not expecting this at all and this was a lot of fun courtesy of The Boss Transportation ! We arrived at Gordon Biersch in style and there we met up with Brew Master Rich who showed us were the magic begins. We filled up our cups with the amazing Seasonal Brew and got to even sample the different barleys which were actually really good and had a similar texture and taste of Grape Nuts Cereal. I enjoy seeing someone love what they do for a living and Rich is no exception. So much beer knowledge and passion for what he does which made for an educational and fun evening! Back on the party bus we had a blast heading back to where it all started. Upon returning we were greeted by delicious Metro Pizza and the smiling Rebecca, Metro Pizza’s Public Relations representative. The pizza was not only delicious but really was properly paired with Sin City’s beer. But everything was paired perfectly tonight, the beer, the food, the personal, and the amazing Unilocalers! HUGE thanks once again to Sin City Brewing for hosting us, The Boss for the amazing party bus transportation, Metro for the generous and delicious Pizza, all the Unilocal and Sin City drink glass and certificates, and Nate for the awesome opportunity and for the sense of importance you certainly display in bringing this Unilocal community to a great standing once again!!! Thank you for being our CM!

Great event! Check in was a breeze due to the smaller sized crowd & the party passes! Plus I now have an official Unilocal lanyard for my name tag! One suggestion there is to put a second name tag on the back side for when the lanyard flips over! ;) A flipped over name badge is a pet peeve of mine! Sharon & I walk inside a find a bar filled with six different beer samples awaiting us! Rich is the owner. He described each beer in detail as we tasted each one! The Light lager was one of my favorite beers with around 125 calories. I’m normally an amber beer drinker but the light was flavorful! After going through all of the beers it was time to go to the brewery which is actually at Gordon Biersch on Paradise & Flamingo. Thanks to Elite transportation for getting us there & back in one piece! This was my first time on a party bus! I can only imagine all of the fun times! At GB Rich went through the beer making process. Including tasting the grains! It’s very interesting sounds like fun! They were actually going to fill 100+ kegs that night! Back at Sin City Brewery we found 4 different Metro Pizzas! The pizza really hit the spot! I loved talking with everyone and learning quite a bit about beer! Swag tonight included a Unilocal & Sin City Pint glasses plus a bottle opener & a few other cool things! Overall a fun spot to hang on the strip!

What a SUPERCOOL Unilocal event! I kinda feel guilty for everyone that got wait listed BUT then I think of all the ones I missed out on…:) So, this event featured Sin City Brewery, Metro Pizza and an awesome party bus! Getting to the event was super easy if you followed Nate’s recommendation of valet parking AND asking the concierge inside the mall for directions. The concierge was actually super nice and gave me map directions! Sin City Brewery is locally owned and operated… owner Rich was the . He really showed his love and passion for his craft. I really can’t believe how much time he took with us. So a BIGTHANKYOU to Rich! We were offered 6 brew samples… they were all good but my fav was the October seasonal brew. Next we jumped a live party bus over to GB, where Sin City brews their beer. Rich met us their to walk us through the brewing process. It really was cool.(Everything was so clean!!!) We were offered another round of beer as we headed back to the Strip. When we got back to Sin City, Metro Pizza had a bunch of their scrumptious pizzas waiting for us to try. My fav was the Metro. These aren’t your typically pepperoni/cheese pizzas. They have crazy blends like chicken, spinach and white sauce! Overall, this might be one of my fav events. Nate and his team kept it a small venue, which made check-in and mingling a breeze! Sin City is a small bar with a 20 person max occupancy. The bartenders were very friendly… I can’t wait to go back!!!

Nate, Tiffany, Rich, and the Sin City Brewery team put on an awesome event. Despite running around in circles inside the Miracle Mile shops, I eventually made it to the event and had an abbreviated tasting flight. Out of the three I tried, I loved the stout, which is my beer of choice. The hefeweizen had an interesting smoky note at the end, which I later found out was cloves. I’m not a big fan of IPA, but the one here was actually quite enjoyable. After perusing the beer samplings, we were treated to a ride on the party bus for a quick ride to the brewery at Gordon Biersch. Rich clearly has a lot of experience in this field and he spent a lot of time explaining the brewing process. We got to taste and smell the individual components: the barley, hops, and share a pint of their seasonal brew. I finally learned what hops actually are, which gives the beer its bitter flavor. Afterwards, we were treated to pizza from Metro Pizza, a perfect complement to the beer. Thanks to the entire crew and also the cool beer swag! I finally have pint glasses from Vegas for cold ones now.

Unilocal365CHALLENGE2014−(261÷365) «The Brews Cruise» It’s finally great to be back in the swing of events lately! The first and last time seeing Nate was incognito at Nerdy Bowling signing up for the Nerdy Dance Battles… This time I got to meet up with Nate, the Las Vegas CM and his other half Tiffany where we checked in a little early(we were part of Group 2) and reunited with fellow Unilocalers I haven’t seen for quite some time as well as a few new Elites I met for the first time. I had the option to start throwing back a few, but I decided to wait for the rest of our group and chatted a little with Rachel, the marketing assistant, and one of the owners of Sin City Brewing(Sorry, forgot your names!) about Unilocal,The Unilocal Elite Community, and livin’ life on the 9th Island. After Group 1 left for their brewery tour, Group 2 started our tasting session where Julio gave us the 411 on each of the 6 different brews we tasted-Light, Amber, Weiss, Seasonal(a steam beer), Stout, and IPA. Being a big Anchor Steam fan, I enjoyed the Sin City Seasonal Brew, and surprisingly, the IPA. Rebecca from Metro arrived with pies for group 1, so we swapped places, hopped on «The Boss» Elite Transportation’s Party Bus, and off to Gordon Biersch we went(Sin City Brews their beers here as well) Once there, we met up with Brewmaster Rich who took the time out to educate and inform us on the operation and formulation of Sin City’s tasty brews, and we also got to enjoy more of the Seasonal Steam Brew as well. Upon our return to the corner of Harmon and Las Vegas Blvd., hot pizzas were waiting for us which was perfect timing to kill this buzz I had going. We all got to taste The Metro, Mulberry, Pantheon, and the Modesto which were all good, but my fave slice was the Metro. Great event overall, and very grateful to have attended and be around such a great Unilocal Community! ALOHA!!! Shaka Meter: \uuu/\uuu/\uuu/\uuu/\uuu/5 MASSIVEMAHALOS: To the team at Sin City Brewing Company, Thank you for your hospitality, sharing knowledge and education on your tasty brews! Elite Transportation Company-«The Boss» volunteered to take us to the brewery and back, tunes blasting, stripper pole and all! How sweet was that? Good Times! Metro Pizza for providing the perfect accompaniment to our tasting! Fellow Unilocalers-Great seeing/meeting each and everyone! always a great time with you all! Nate and Tiffany-Thank you for restoring faith in the Unilocal Las Vegas Community once again! You both ROCK, and I’m looking forward to what the future holds! :)

«For its all for me grog, me jolly jolly grog… its all for me beer and tobacco!» I anticipated this event SO much. First of all, it was the first time for me to meet Nate, our awesome new CM. Second of all…“beer beer beer, tiddly beer beer beer!“ This Irish lass LOVES her beer! Although, as I mentioned to Rich, from Sin City, I’m not as big a beer fan as some of our friends, but I can knock a few back with the best of them. I arrived early and met up with Vanessa right away. We finally met Nate, who I can already tell is just an awesome person. Can I just say how much I’m loving the party pass check in method? Because I love it. I feel its a great way to keep track of who actually shows up, cancels, etc. I liked the two small groups, too… this made chatting and mingling easier and allowed for a more intimate feel. So after we checked in, the staff was still setting up the beer flights. I decided, seeing a beautiful sign outside, to buy myself a $ 5 shot of Patron. Yup. $ 5. The only place I’ve seen Patron cheaper is the Stage Door, so… DEAL! This is also where I started interacting with Rich and his staff, who are just amazing, chatting about other alcohol festivals, etc. After the rest of group 1 arrived, we started on the beer flights! ~Light: A light, refreshing beer. I could drink this in the summer, on a 125 degree day, for sure. ~Amber: Still very light, with a bit more flavor than the light beer. This was really good. ~Weisse: One of my top 2. SO flavorful! There’s a hit of clove flavor that comes from the type of yeast that is used. How cool! Really refreshing. ~Seasonal: Steam lager: crisp and tasty, with a little bit of a bitter taste ~Stout: My other favorite. I like my beers dark and bitter, like my soul. This was amazing. Reminded me of Guinness, but not as heavy(so its not a full loaf of bread in a glass) and not quite as bitter. ~IPA: I’m not a fan of IPA beer. Like… ever. Its too hoppy and bitter for my taste, and while this was still hoppy and bitter… I’d still enjoy a glass. Group 2 arrived as we were finishing up some of the flights, and chatting more with Rich, so we said hello, and then got on the party bus to head over to the brewery! I’ve never been on a party bus. I was excited, and had been drinking, so yes. There is a picture of me pole dancing. I feel no shame. ;) When we got to GB, we were given another pint and walked through the facility… I can’t get over how clean and immaculate everything was! Rich is clearly very passionate about what he does, and it shows, not only in his presentation, but in his product. When we got back to Sin CIty, we were given our Sin City pint glasses(with or without another pint. I had one with. duh!), our Unilocal pint glasses with some cool swag(like a Sin City keychain, and a special offer for Metro Pizza!) Speaking of Metro Pizza! Is there anything that goes better with beer? They had several different styles of pizza, and each style that I tried was delicious. I love Metro Pizza, and haven’t had it in a long time… this has definitely been a good reminder. It was a great night. I’m glad I had a chance to chat and hang with Vanessa, Jay, Tracy, Ardie, Nate, and Tiffany! Also lovely to see the Q’s again, and Ife. :D Thank you SO much to Nate, Rich, and Sin City Brewery for a wonderful event!!!

What a fun event! I am not an alcohol drinker, but I learned a great deal about the process of brewing from the passionate Rich of Sin City Brewery! When I arrived, I checked in with Tiffany. Then I moved onto the bar area where Julio was ready to provide Unilocalers with beer. When it was go time, Julio explained the 6 different beers to us. — Light: this lager was easy to drink, similar to that of bud light, but better. — Amber: More taste than the lager. If I have to chose, this has to be my favorite of the bunch. — Hefeweizen: Smell of banana, tasted a hint of bubblegum. Quite interesting. — Seasonal: Steam lager… that’s all I remember. — Stout: Burnt coffee taste. When we did the tour, Rich showed us the burnt barley. Makes total sense. — IPA: Earl would love this. Too bitter for me. We then hopped on the party bus to Gordon Biersch to go on a tour with Rich. The party bus had monitors with top 40s on, cool neon lights, and a pole. What a cool ride! I truly appreciate how Rich took the time to carefully explain what each type of beer consisted of, the different in the barley and hops. It was super neat to see a panel of switches for the brew. Then we hopped back on the party bus to return to Sin City Brewery. There were boxes of pizza waiting to be devoured by us, compliments of Metro Pizza. I had two slices of the delicious Metro(sausage, peperoni, and mushrooms). We were also given and Sin City Brewery Pint Glass, Unilocal Pint Glass, a voucher for meatball sliders at Metro, and some cool key chains and Unilocal schwag. Nate, thank you for being such a down to earth, attentive, cool CM. Big thanks to Tiffany, Rich, and Metro Pizza team to host such a fun and educational event.
