Dr Khavkin was very thorough and patient to explain everything. The office staff adequate. Here we are waiting for the surgery over 3 hours with no message from the doctor’s office or the staff at Spring Valley. Things happen but communication with your patient should not fall through the cracks. At least order some dextrose, this is going on 12 hours without food/​drink. This is the very definition of a cluster. Oh and I am soooo sick of «sorry»! Sorry shouldn’t be a description of service. BTW how could you have called me yesterday about the time when allegedly this was an unplanned delay.

I was diagnosed with a brain tumor Dec 30, 2015; surgery to remove it was on Feb. 12, 2016(Friday) & I went home on Monday.. His staff made the entire process easy and smooth from getting tests and working with the hospital. Dr. Khavkin is a brilliant and meticulous surgeon. He patiently answered all our questions and is very kind. If you want the best outcome possible, for brain & spinal surgery, you must see him. Credentials are impeccable & other physicians I had knew if & spoke highly of him.

Dr. Khavkin has literally saved my life twice now. I have had him perform emergency surgeries on my neck and lower back. Both with tremendous success.
I spent years trying pain control doctors who just prescribe drugs. I tried yoga, pt, looked at noninvasive and laser type fixes. (All seemed bogus and I have talked to two others that said the laser treatment failed them)
I had both surgeries done at Southern Hills Hospital. (A great place if you have to be in the hospital)
His Physicians Assistant, Gavin, is just incredible. He came to check on me daily before and after surgery. He answered all my questions using terminology that was simple to understand. He is always positive and smiling and very helpful throughout the entire process. (He knows his way around the insurance companies!)
Albert is the Anesthesiologist who knocks ya out before surgery. Another incredible part of this team.
I NOW LIVE PAIN FREE!!! For the first time in over 20 years.

The best Neurosurgeon in the west. The staff is the wonderful and if you need back surgery, he is the best!

I swore I would never ever have back surgery but finally the pain was so bad I couldn’t take it any longer, I was terrified but knew something had to be done. I had consultations with 4 different doctors trying to find the right one, unfortunately after extensive research on each doctor I was ready to give up. I then heard about Dr. Yevgeniy Khavkin at Khavkin Clinic, I researched him made the appointment and knew I had found the right doctor. His bedside manner is exceptional, he truly cared about me I wasn’t just a number but his family. His staff, especially Francis treated me the same way, caring and courteous. Even though I was scared the day of surgery I was comforted by Dr. Khavkin and Francis. The surgery was a success! After 2 months I no longer limp and feel like a new person at 56 years old. I won’t be completely healed for a year but I’ll continue my recovery and follow ups. I can’t thank Dr. Khavin and staff enough for everything they have done for me they have changed my life.
I’m so pleased with my back surgery I’ve scheduled my neck to be done as well.
