First Tattoo!
The shop was a bit tucked away when I first came to get a quote on my tat. The locale wasn’t very appealing, but Jesse’s workspace and shop more than makes up for it! It’s small, but it’s also very… home-​y.
I felt immediately welcome when I stepped in. Being my first tattoo, I was a bit nervous, but Jesse was helpful. He asked what I wanted, where, and how big.
After paying $ 40 for him to design something, I waited until it was the time to get inked! The day of, Jesse did not arrive on time, but that’s okay! Shit happens! Turns out his a/​c went out and had to get it fixed. This being Vegas, I understand that and set a later time that day.
Once there, he prepped everything and walked me through what he was doing from time to time. I was very relieved to see how clean and meticulous he had set everything up. Jesse took it nice and slow, telling me the things he was doing.
In summary, this was a great experience. Jesse is a great artist that envisioned my tattoo perfectly. He makes you feel welcome. I hope to come back and add to the piece!

Jesse is an outstanding artist!!! He is very creative in his artistic views. His tattooing is by far the most impressive, creative, professional and reasonable in pricing. I came into his shop with an idea of what exactly I wanted and he nailed it! I have more than a few tattoos and his work is by far the best that I have have gotten. Jesse is extremely light handed, I felt no pain. I think it was so relaxing that I may have fell to sleep for a minute or two lol. I get compliments on his work on a weekly basis. The detailing and shady are eye catching. The shop had a great ambiance and secure feeling to it. I felt comforted by the cleanliness of the shop as well. I have and will continue to refer friends and family to Jesse Zarate’s shop. Zarate’s is the place you want to go to get the one of the best tattoo artist in Vegas. hands down! Let me start by stating I love my tattoo! Jesse is very neat and he takes his time and appreciates his work. I actually found him on Groupon like any other artist he is by appointments and which means he has others valuable customers and that’s very understandable. he made time to let me know when he was available and when he was not. I’m looking forward on going back to get more work done I would recommend him to all my friends.

Jesse is my go to guy in Vegas. I went to see him for a foot tattoo that I’ve been wanting for over a year, everyone else told me it couldn’t be done and those who would do it wanted to charge me a months pay. Jesse worked with me to get the font and size exactly how I wanted it and he must have placed the tattoo 50 times before I was happy with it, he’s very patient and his customer service is some of the best I’ve ever had. I have seven tattoos so trust me when I tell you that Jesse is to be trusted with adding something permanent to your body. I will be a returning customer.

Do not go here I’m military and this guy does not care about time or getting back to you in a timely manner I bought a groupon and he never got back to me with a time or date everyone I call his phone he never picks up sad very unprofessional
