Elliot Construction

We were referred to Elliot Construction by the Cabinet Center.
Jerry came out a few times due to the construction stages of our kitchen.
I am hard to please and I thought his work was great.

We had the team of Steve Elliott Construction and the Cabinet Center redo our kitchen and are thrilled with the results. Steve and his crew were the utmost professionals and their attention to detail resulted in a beautiful kitchen. Joe at the Cabinet Center was great, he provided very helpful design ideas that resulted in our kitchen being much more functional than it started. When we hit a little snag in the design, the Cabinet Center management was out here in a flash to see with their own eyes what the problem was and to develop a workaround.
Both Steve and Joe were highly professional, honest, and delivered what they promised — I couldn’t be happier with the results. I just wish I had another project for them.

It is with a sad heart that I have to write a bad review. But I feel that it is my responsibility to let the public know my experience with this Steve Elliott Construction.
In fact, there were so many suspicious activities with our project that a real estate lawyer tells us that we have a very serious case for litigation. Something that we are possibly pursuing.
There were so many activities that were suspicious and possibly illegal according to a lawyer in dealing with this company. One wall of of kitchen was completely framed out by about 2 inches unnecessarily impacting the whole kitchen layout. He covered it up by removing the trims on the cabinets next to walls so now those cabinets do not function the way Dura Supreme cabinets were designed to. Additionally, I lost valuable square footage in my kitchen.
What was his gain for doing so? Additional work = additional fees. He did this where ever he could with our project. I figure the upcharge for things unnecessary was about ¹⁄₃ of our total project cost. But worst after finally finishing after one year from starting, we are left with things to pick up after because work was not done correctly in the first place.
Steve Elliott Construction’s skills are sub-​par. He did not use licensed subs for anything, not even for electrical. The tiling work on the floor does not line up and looks like a do it yourself job. The only thing this company has is that their cabinet installer is good. So if you only need a cabinet installer, they worked closely with The Cabinet Center who might set you up with them. But if you need anything else done in your remodel, I caution you to check out his work and ask for references even though in your meetings with them, they may have sold you.

We just remodeled our kitchen here in Pleasanton. We used Elliott Construction and could not be happier with the process and the results. Steve provided a clear contract and clear communication throughout the project. His team of skilled craftsmen handled all the work flawlessly. Steve was also very helpful with ideas for design details like lighting, backsplash tile, and other items. He really cares about doing a quality job.
His work was highly professional, high quality, honest, on-​time and reasonably priced!
I would highly recommend Elliott Construction to anyone planning a kitchen remodel.
