I just moved to Lathrop and found out this is the local internet provider. First they do not have a office in Lathrop. They are based in Bethany, MO. To get internet you have to drive there or do the paperwork over the phone and then in the mail. Which is odd in comparison to other companies that provide services. I mailed my information to the company and it took a week for them to receive it. I had spoken with the employee that deals with Internet setup on Monday and she stated when she received my paperwork she would call and setup a time to get it installed. On Wednesday I call to check on my paperwork status. She stated she has received it that morning. It was 12:30pm and she hadn’t called me. Then she proceed to setup a time for the next day to hook up my internet. I was able to do it and very happy to finally get my internet. I get a call back the same day stating she spoke with her tech and he was already booked for the following day and couldn’t come out. They don’t work Friday due to the holiday. I ask if there is anyway he can come because I really need the Internet to work. She stated no and that they couldn’t come out til Monday the following week. I wouldn’t be able to do that due to I will be back to work. I proceed to state I think it’s crap she scheduled and didn’t know he was booked. She stated don’t you make mistakes sometimes. I said not when it’s a scheduling thing because I use a calendar. She had nothing to say. Needless to say I was able to find a different provider that was not this company. I am so happy to not have to deal with this company that has no customers service skills. So if your looking for internet in Lathrop I am sorry you have to speak with Mallory the lovely lady at this company. Don’t expect her to be helpful. Or go with Hughesnet like I did.
