ABSOLUTELYDELICIOUS. Stopped after ordering wedding invitations from Carol at 313 Ligonier around the corner.(Go there, she’s terrific.) An amazing Italian dinner and good service. Will drive from Pittsburgh to dine there again. It’s worth it.

Our favorite pizza. Great family establishment with friendly service. Prices are reasonable and the rest of the menu is great as well. Take out is fast as well. Closed on Sundays.

Spoiler Alert: This could have easily been a 4 star rating, but VISIBLYROTTENTOMATOES on my mound of lettuce… I mean«tossed salad» killed my appetite.(See my picture). My active imagination made me super queasy just wondering if those same rotten tomatoes were used in the homemade sauce I partially inhaled before seeing the salad. The staff seemed so nonchalant when my coworker called in to inquire about the rotten tomatoes(all over my side salad and mixed in with her meal salad) that I threw away the rest of my platter and visited the establishment to show them the rotten tomatoes and get an explanation as to how this happened. I met with a manager, Vincent, who was unaware of any incidents called in. He asked around and no one else seemed to know about what was at least a HUGH deal to me. I showed him my «salad». He offered to make me another one, but the thought made me nauseas so I just told him I’d rather him take that energy training staff to make sure this didn’t happen to anyone else. That’s unfortunate considering the menu is filled with so many dishes that sound delicious and are likely tasty, but this was a one and done experience for me. The Back Story: Made from scratch family recipes, 4.5 Unilocal stars and an office full of women raving about every Gino’s dish they ever ate had me super excited and ready to enjoy 1 of only 5 local Latrobe meals I would get to try while visiting the city on business. Things started off well enough… prices were reasonable; the delivery was timely; and my food was aromatic. I ordered Gino’s Pasta Sampler(stuffed shell, lasagna, gnocchi, ravioli, spaghetti & meatball). The food smelled so good that I jumped right into my main course and ate about half my plate before deciding to go back to my tossed salad and bread. I opened the salad and almost immediately felt queasy. I tried to give them the benefit by thinking maybe the restaurant served organic black tomatoes, but once I learned they were in fact rotten… I lost my appetite as I stared at the rest of my plate that was drenched in their homemade spaghetti sauce. We called the restaurant looking for some type of reassurance or remedy, but staff was apathetic and my benefit of doubt went out the window with my $$$. I enjoyed what I did get to eat, but I had to stop once I became paranoid rotten tomatoes may have been used in the sauce. I’m understanding that things happen, but poor customer service on top of serving visibly rotten tomatoes on a mound of lettuce pretending to be a tossed salad makes me angry and $ 13 poorer but still hungry and now cranky that I’m still hungry and can’t Unilocal another spot until I finish this novel of a review.

Wow!!! Great service, delicious food, and wonderful prices!!! Sarah our waitress was just fantastic! We had an order of lasagna, meatloaf, and 2 personal pizzas, salads and one wedding soup. Not a single complaint everyone enjoyed everything they had and shared what we had and everyone agreed the others were good, too! The wedding soup was so good!!! My dad had their chili and was so pleased. My lasagna was phenomenal. You can’t find food like this in the big national chains. This was a great find after a return flight out of Latrobe heading back to my parents home. They will definitely be back soon and look forward to it. Thanks!!!

I can’t say a bad word about Gino’s the food is amazing and the quality is 100percent! From the fresh bread to mama’s meatloaf Gino’s is excellent… I have my parents hooked on the restaurant they drive all the way from somerset to eat here and they love it too! My favorite has been the pierogi pizza with sauerkraut… it is on a nice sweet bread crust and the pierogi mixture is excellent! Their pasta and sauce has so much flavor and its fresh! Also, their subs are awesome and they come on their fresh baked bread which is to die for!!! I have run out of stars to give this place wonderful job guys love this place!!!

Found this when our future daughter-in-law suggested we give it a try after a full day at Keystone Park This is a simple review — 1) Outstanding Service 2) Excellent Food 3) Perfect Menu We have now been a few times with parties ranging from 4 to 8 and service has been outstanding each visit. Waitresses do a fantastic job of making sure you have exactly what you need without being overly bothersome. The entire staff goes out of its way to be friendly and helpful and we can’t think of a single negative from all our visits combined. If you’re looking for a great family style Italian restaurant in this area, we would send you here first.

Pizza is my favorite food in the entire world, and Latrobe is kind of a Mecca for Italian food and Pizza places. There might be more Pizza places in Latrobe, Pennsylvania than actual residents. With that being said, Gino’s Pizza of Latrobe is the one restaurant I would give more than 5 stars to if I could. Not only do they have the best pizza in Latrobe, but they have the best pizza anywhere I have ever tasted. I have traveled nationwide, and world wide, and I’ve tried pizza everywhere I go. I cannot stress this enough, Gino’s Pizza of Latrobe has the best pizza anywhere I have ever eaten. Beyond the pizza, their pasta is fantastic, their homemade sauce is to die for. Not to mention, the prices are laughably cheap! 5 Stars. 6 Stars. 7 Stars.

Gino’s is a great spot for lunch. Their Italian Hogie is a real winner. And why not add a cup of Italian Wedding Soup to complete the meal? Highly recommended.

Excellent food and service. Have never been disappointed either eating in the dining area or with take-out. Their pizza is our family’s absolute favorite and one we can all agree on. The italian specialties and subs are hearty and delicious. Can’t speak for the wings, of course I would not get wings at an Italian eatery… too many other great selections here.

My family and I have been on vacation at Keystone Park visiting family for the past week. Since we’ve been in town we’ve ate here three times. The food is excellent! The bread is so fresh I couldn’t stop eating it until it had vanished from my plate. Also I give them a heads up. I had a crying baby 2 of those 3 visits and they never gave me an odd look as I tried to soothe her.(I ended up excusing myself outside to put her in a carrier to quiet her) and in addition to that when I needed to nurse my daughter no weird stares either. Very family friendly. It’s a shame we’re heading back home today or we’d for sure be back. And who knows, maybe we will!

Great dining experience for a pizza joint. Driving up to the place it looked a little sketchy but plenty of free parking — so our party of 7 went on in. We were seated promptly at a big table that had been reclaimed from a bowling alley — pretty neat actually. Lots of conversation about that. The kids got the cheese pizza and the adults ordered the sampler pizza. I ordered the special of the day — stuffed shells. Salad and bread came right out. The bread was freash and chewy — excellent. The main dishes followed shortly thereafter and were hot and steamy. The pizza was excellent. I tried the«perogi» pizza(one of the sampler pizza quarters) and it was wonderful(my new favorite — I had never seen this before on a pizza) ! The kids ate all of their large cheese pizza and wanted more. The adult’s combo pizza consisted of ¼ white pizza, ¼ cheese pizza, ¼ pirogi pizza, and ¼ taco pizza. Everyone had a different favorite. This led to a friendly discussion about different kinds of pizza — peanut butter and jelly was the servers favorite!(and of course with JIF) However they do not have PB&J pizza at Gino’s as of this writing. My stuffed shells were served piping hot and were great. I was the one stuffed after the meal and very satisfied — absolutely would go back again. The place had a good family atmosphere and the staff worked hard and were attentive. Shout out to all the people at Gino’s that made it a great experience.

Hooray for Gino’s(of Latrobe — I don’t know about the one on 30). Gino’s has some of my husband and my favorite pizza. The sauce is sweet and there is a perfect balance of crust and cheese. Occasionally it comes out a bit well done, but think of it as part of the charm. Favorite toppings? Meatball and extra cheese(because what good is balance if I can’t throw it off a bit). I’m not even a big«meat» pizza person and I’m not wild about meatballs… but this is something special. Excellent seasoning and just the right texture. The salads and wings are pretty solid, too. My dining companions have had the pasta with positive results, I just can’t go there and NOT order pizza. They generally have great daily specials!
