I really loved this place. The beach, restaurants with ocean views and trinket shopping… what more can you ask for? It’s also clean with ample beach showers to wash off the sand before heading back to your car. If you’re a lover of cold and sweet treats, there’s a bunch of gelato and ice cream here too. Just a really cool place worth a visit!!!

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Fort Lauderdale, FL
Located at 0(read Zero) Commercial Boulevard, being right at the ocean front where Commercial starts at the Atlantic Ocean and having just been completely renovated, it is the heart of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and where all the activity takes place. It’s a drop dead gorgeous little park/square named after the town’s first mayor, a developer who actually developed the town and donate the lands that comprise the square. If you are in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea you don’t have to go out of your way to see it or be a part of the activities that take place in it or nearby since you really can’t miss it. Just between the square and the ocean is Aruba Beach, which in my opinion is one of if not the best beach in Broward County. The square has a pavilion arrangement with mock old wooden boat seating facing the beach, the ocean and Anglin Pier. It’s surrounded by cafes serving up some of the best of food and drinks. There are also tables, chairs, and umbrella set ups along with plenty of rather artistically done bicycle parking areas. Yes, it is very, very touristy, but that is what it is meant to be and a lot of what in fact does attract them. During weekends and sometimes even week nights during the«on season» it offers various musical and other entertainment.
