BURGERFI

Great experience for a 1^st time customer! The onion rings were amazing! We had 5 people and a burger each, a basket of French fries plus onion rings was less than $ 50! I am not a big fan of chain restaurants but this place was good with a bunch of hungry teens.

Good double burger today. Tasty for fast food. Fries looked great but did not get them. Maybe net time.

My boyfriend and I went there for the first time, and were nervous at first because all the recent burger joints we’d gone to had left us feeling bloated and nauseous. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the burgers weren’t greasy at all and had extremely fresh ingredients on them! They tasted amazing and weren’t that expensive either. We ordered banana milkshakes to go with them and they had whip cream and sprinkles on top which just added to how good it was overall.
The atmosphere is really good and everything is so clean there that it shines. I love the nice oldies tunes they were playing there while we ate; it was a nice change from what most places tend to play.
The staff were friendly and there really wasn’t a wait to get our food, which is a great plus for people with children ect. It’s also a block or so from the beach so it’s not too far to walk to get a nice meal after a day at the beach! I highly recommend this place.

The dining room was dirty and no one was cleaning. Employees were standing around behind the counter. The burgers were bland with no spices. This is a place I would never come back to.

Great Burgers!!! But the bathrooms need maintenance and attention. Dirty and doors don’t lock. With the amount staff you’d think someone could clean them.

Part of it’s the burger. Part of it is the location down on the beach with all the tourists. Great place on a beautiful beach day. They cook the burgers to order. Staff is decent. Although I did have a funny exchange on one occasion
Me: What’s the Luger sauce?
Server: Its a steak house
Me: Yes. I know. What’s the sauce?
Server: Its a steak house
Me: Alrighty then I’m just gonna go with a steak house. (Never mind what’s in it or a description. It is fairly self-​explanatory but I was hoping for something)
Will have to give the veggie burger a try!

Still one of the best burgers around! This location is consistently clean and the staff is friendly. Try the Parmesan fries, you won’t be disappointed.
One of my favorite things is the Coke Freestyle machine, create you own soda masterpiece.

I had the BurgerFi burger, which was great, and my friend had a VegeFi burger, which he really enjoyed. The natural cut fries were to die for. We also got the Oh My Chocolate, and oh my is right. This is a must try dessert. The bathroom just looked disgusting to me and there wasn’t a lot of trash in there. Even though it is fast food it could have looked nicer. Overall, I will definitely be going to BurgerFi again and recommend it to others.

Had the brisket burger wrapped in lettuce with mushrooms and Swiss. Awesome burger well worth the 25 bucks for two. Will return

Las burgers de Fi son «orgánicas» o sea de vacas que comieron sólo pasto. Son magras y de buen sabor, el pan es dulzón y amarillo onda brioche, esta muy bien. El megahit son los aros de cebolla, que son demenciales de ricos. El secreto es el rebozado, que lo debe hacer Dios. Este local en particular debe ser el más lindo de la cadena, una onda muy playera, en el mini centro de Laudardale By The Sea.

First timer and the burgers are a joke. The burger pics on the menu board are very very deceiving. When you get the real thing… you will ask yourself, «Where is the F’n Beef!!! I ordered the Burgerfi Burger… and you would think they would beef it up since it takes after the name of the joint, but NO…3 bites and the Burgerfi Burger is history. I included a pic for your laughter. Don’t waste your time or money.

Burger fri is a typical burger joint, a little expensive and not enough food for me. But im a big dude 6’0 250lb.

I haven’t been to a Burger Fi in coon’s age (I was just told by another Unilocaler that I had to work this ancient phrase into a review), and this was my first time in this location. It was a handy place to cool off and fuel up after sweating through the crafts festival.
As usual, the restaurant was very clean. There wasn’t any line, so the staff was quick and efficient in taking our orders. I went for a build it yourself double burger with caramelized onions and a combination of sauces. I was sharing both French fries and onion rings with a couple of other members of our party.
It was only about 5 min. until our buzzer went off and we went to grab our tray. First, I went for a fry. The fries here are very good, by far better than most chains. Skin on, they are cut about ³⁄₈ in. and perfectly sizzled and seasoned. The onion rings were huge and crispy, but were oddly short of onion flavor.
Next, I tried a bite of my burger. The first bite was nice and hot, as expected from a freshly fried patty and the meat was very juicy. The meat was thicker than it had been at other locations. Had I known that, I would have ordered a single instead of a double. It needed salt, which I added, but I couldn’t really taste any of the add-​ons. I figured it was just because they sometimes don’t get spread to the edges of the sandwich. So, I went for another bite. This bite was HOT, I need bigger font here! It was so HOT that I burned the roof of my mouth, at least it wasn’t too much of a burn and left only a small skin flap (no, I’m not kidding), hanging from the roof palate. After drinking some ice water and opening the sandwich to expose the steaming beef to some cool air, I tried again. Still there was little to be found in the way of onions and sauces over the rest of the patty.
Overall, the food was middle of the line. If I ever go back, I will order extra sauces on the side and let my burger come to something less than molten lava temperature before I take a bite.

I should have known when i entered the place i had my FIRST job at 17 years old that. I escaped that place only to return 37 years later .only instead of being burger king they replaced the king with FI… yep Burger Fi. My aunt still owns the property located on a1a and commercial blvd. I grew up in this neighborhood.
On to my thoughts on my meal:
Two words come to mind… OVER ANTICIPATION! I always heard about burger fi and wondered what the hype was all about. I opted for a chicago style dog for 4.97 and my friend jessica had the confused burger (i think it was called) and we also got the cry and fry which is onion rings (3) and a basket of fries. I would have to say that was the best thing we had… My hot dog was ok… i liked the green relish and the pickle and tomato and the poppy seed bun and the vienna hot dog but it was nothing to go ga ga over… it was simply ok… Jess ripped off a piece of her burger so I could make a fair review. The first thing I did was smell it and it had NO smell what so ever. It didnt smell like ground beef it didnt smell flame grilled… and the texture… i personally did NOT like how mushy it was. Im used to gristle and chemicals I guess in my ground beef. i didnt even see any blood or juice dripping from it… I am so glad I didnt order that. I really would have been upset as I didnt like the taste of it at all. I had a sweet tea in the bottle which was 2.77 (a little high in my opinion) and the fountain soda was the same price…5 items and 23 and change later and i was over full maybe because of the fried food.
Would I go back… probably not… I have no desire to eat one of their burgers… the place was VERY VERY clean but that didnt make up for what I thought was going to be so great and it really was just mediocre…
Glad I was treated to lunch and didnt have to pay… for free it was ok… nothing to write home about. to be honest!

So good! I’m a big jack hamburger fan but this place is great as well. They have the customizable soda machine (your kids will love it). Staff was pretty friendly, I do feel the food takes a little longer to wait for but I’m willing to wait since it’s not some yucky microwaved burger.

Yes, it hit the spot! They have the best organic burgers and a best in class veggie burger.
Highlights: Food was delicious, cooked to perfection and ample quantity (they are extremely generous with their fries portions), Location was easy to find with free parking, Friendly staff, Clean and large dinning area.
Can improve: Offer Ranch?
Benchmark: They set the standard for organic burgers. They are a step above fast food in price and their burgers run around 7 to 9 a pop. In-​N-​Out is the best fast food burger joint and Minetta Tavern in New York is the best restaurant burger place in my book.
A regular since 2013 and have dined in Atlanta, Ft Lauderdale and New York locations.

Really cool, trendy, outside seating place. Free wifi, able to sit outside, sit on my iPad, free refills on soda’s while doing so.
Food was great, about 5 minutes, made to order. Had a nice selection of beers that I will get to next time. Nice parking lot if you’re driving in.

Let me start by saying I’m not a burger aficionado, and never seek out places focusing and specializing in burgers. Partner and I were returning from driving a friend back to Boca from Fort Lauderdale who was fearful of getting lost if she drove by herself (That’s a novella on its own) but that’s what you do for good friends.
It was 3:30, she was famished, and demanded a burger before her evening date. Again, we are not really into burgers, but like I said, she demanded one. So we stop at The Burger-​Fi on A1A in Lauderdale By The Sea, having been there before, and figured it wouldn’t be busy at that time. And it wasn’t. It was very quiet.
DEAN took our order, never had anything vaguely resembling a smile on his face, and mumbled whatever questions he asked. He clearly communicated a look that he didn’t want to be there. I’m also assuming he sensed we were relative Burger-​Fi newbies, as we were looking up at the posted menu. (Like is that a bad thing to do?) I get the feeling that these places prefer those who walk in and spit out their order in one run-​on sentence in 22 seconds, are between the ages of 18 – 24, and order a lot of extras cause they were at the beach and have the munchies.
The food is ready quickly. The fries were the best. The burgers, we ordered doubles, no cheese, were OK. Not great. Not bad. Sort of limp, if a burger can be called limp? (Allen S., don’t go there). The lettuce and tomato were fresh and nicely proportioned.
The onion rings were humongous, dripping in grease, and partner and I are not into them under normal circumstances, but I were to eat them, I would have liked them crispy. Our friend didn’t stop complaining about them. Oy vay.
As we were leaving, Den said he had to use the men’s room and I reminded him that the last time we were there it was filthy. Slimy wet floors, no paper towels, and an obnoxious smell of high potency urine. He took napkins from the table dispenser, and upon his return, when I asked «how was it», he responded «stunk from urine».
I get the concept of using grass fed cows, happy cattle roaming anti-​biotic free before being slaughtered, natural ingredients, use of less energy, contemporary hip décor, blahblahblah. I don’t like unhappy staff who exude indifference to customers and deplore dirty bathrooms which reek of piss. I contacted Corporate after the first experience with the bathroom and got no reply. One reason I never bought their stock.
So, three stars for the limp burger and awesome fries and the relative cleanliness of the interior and patio sitting areas.
Oh, you risk a major collision when you attempt to pull your car out of their limited parking spots onto A1A. (No one stops to allow you to do that, not BurgerFi’s fault, just a heads up)

I realized that I was starving and that I didn’t have a ton of time and that it was 3 pm. AND I remembered seeing this burger joint while wandering around.
Order at the counter and customize as you like. I chose the veggie burger (and I was nervous since I’m not a big quinoa person) with extra pickles, of course. I should have ordered extra extra pickles since they were yummy and the burger was delicious. I scarfed it down like it was my last meal. Also they have the fancy soft drink machines that mean I can make a lime coke so I was a happy happy girl.
Loved the outdoor seating and the open garage doors. Perfect spot to grab a quick bite.

Situated one block away from the beaches of sunny and picturesque Lauderdale-​by-​the-​Sea, this trendy, smartly decorated burger joint has excellent burgers, shakes, and other dishes.
It is not uncommon to see tourists from around the world eating here, mingling with the Florida natives. The vibe is casual and cool and the staff is young and friendly. During the summer, beach-​goers traipse in wearing all sorts of little things, with their happy moods and relaxed attitudes. It really livens up the typical burger eating experience. If you are prudish, then stay inland.
I like ordering the BurgerFi burger, just a normal, simple burger with 2 thin patties, plus a chocolate shake. Delicious! When I’m not too hungry, I just grab shake and walk it back towards the beach. When you need an attitude adjustment, this BurgerFi is the place to be!

Burgerfi is by far my favorite burger chain! I am in love with their fresh burgers and fries. I really like that you can create your own burger. I always start with a cheeseburger and add grilled diced onions and garlic aioli– yummy! Their fries are amazing! They are so crispy and delicious. I also really like the specialty fries– their parmesan herb fries are out of this world! Burgerfi is my go-​to after the beach spot.
