Frame ‘n Art by the Sea

I picked up my frame and it looks fabulous. That said, when I picked up frame it had a small scratch and they just wanted me to know.
Because I purchased it as discount because it was in stock left over well I was lead to believe I couldn’t claim anything in it.
But closer inspection shows the corner junctions are uneven and the black backing isn’t adhered to adequately so just coming home it has a tear on the edge already :/​
I will call them and have them fix it. And then update my review in what solution they propose.

From Boston, MA and came to Fort Lauderdale for spring break. Had such a great time at Paint ‘n Sip! The instructor was very thorough with each step which allowed for an awesome looking picture! The picture I painted is going to make for a great gift! Even better– after the canvas was painted you can get it framed right in Frame ‘n Art! The owners are so nice and really helpful! Can’t wait to come back!

Any art I’ve bought before was already framed, so I’ve never really had to go through this process before. Seems like no one wants to give any pricing without wasting your time to go to the store and look at the pieces.
So after some searching and fruitless phone calls I went to this place because it was close and well reviewed.
I used a Unilocal discount that they couldn’t really figure out how to put into the system so they just gave me the value. Hopefully that isn’t something that shortchanges Unilocal but not a big deal. The 3 pieces I bought in they charged me 84 each for. They were pretty small and that seemed a little pricey but I really didn’t want to go to yet another place as I wanted the pieces within a week.
They were very friendly. But two out of the three pieces I am very disappointed in. One very clearly has two greasy fingerprints on the inside of the glass. At least I’m hoping it’s on the glass not on the print. The other there is a few noticeable pieces of black dust or dirt on the white framing mat. These things are sealed and not even sure what happens if I open.
All in all, I’ll look for another spot next time. I have zero interest in going back to places to make sure they do the work they should have done properly the first time.

I had the opportunity to visit this awesome shop. Just love the street scape and all the shop has to offer. I was able to have some very special, sentimental artwork framed by the friendly and talented staff. Mike and Teresa helped me pick the best matte and frame for each of my special pieces. They even went over and above and mailed the pieces to my home so I wouldn’t have to worry about them on an airplane. They arrived safe and sound. I’m so pleased with the work. I already have more pieces planned for them! I highly recommend Frame ‘n Art but the Sea!

I have been for several framings. they are helpful, quick and i have loved each piece they have done for me!

I didn’t like this place or the owner. I had an inexpensive poster I wanted in an expensive frame with museum glass. I wasn’t dressed poorly, pretty standard for south Florida, but the owner treated me like I couldn’t afford anything in his store. I already knew what I wanted, and just wanted a price. He tried endlessly to talk me into something I didn’t want. He is a poor listener. Poor trait for a small business owner.

This guy was amazing! Honest, quick and professional. He did three of my pictures last week and I couldn’t be happier.
They’re doing a lot of construction outside his place which has to be horrible for his business! Glad I stopped in!

Just had a great interaction with Mike at Frame ‘n Art. I recently purchased a large canvas that was shipped across the country and needed to be stretched. I consulted with Mike and discovered immediately that he had the expertise and talent to take care of my piece per my detailed specifications. He delivered the finished project ahead of schedule and for a very fair price. He was easy to work with and really took time with me to make sure that it would turn out perfectly. His gallery is beautiful — I’ll definitely return for any framing needs!
