Gorfien & Jacobsohn, DDS

Dr. Gorfein was paid $ 2000 in advance for two dental implants. The posts were implanted on January 13, 2014 but fell out a month later during the healing process. The procedure was too painful and I was not going to let him drill into my jawbone again. I asked for a refund minus cost of putting in posts. The doctor agreed to refund $ 1300 on March 10^th (much less than it should be). He did not mail the refund as promised. I spoke with the doctor again on March 17^th and he stated refunds are only given on Fridays. Friday ³⁄₂₁ came and no refund was issued. I spoke to the doctor again on March 26^th and he stated his accountant only does refunds on the 1^st of each month. April 1^st came and again no refund was mailed. Spoke to the doctor again on April 7^th and he stated it was an oversight on his part and my refund will definitely be sent out that Friday the April 11^th. Again no refund check was mailed out. This dentist is completely dishonest, untrustworthy, and overall just a bad dentist. Stay away from him at all costs. Dr Jacobson on the other hand is excellent. He should break ties with this guy. He’s dragging his name down too!!!

Yes had my veneers done there as well and 6 teeth have broken or fell off months after they were installed.
I even paid him extra money to do another try to the lower set nicer and after he had put them on they were not a matching color so they had to be redone a 3^rd time.
This has been a real nightmare! I think I have been to Dr Gorfiens office about 12 times now for just a set of veneers that should have been done the right way the first time.
I have never met a more stressful person in my entire life and takes no time to do quality work. It is all quantity and NO quality!
Stay away as far as you can from this dentist!

Iv been going to Dr. Gorfien for the past 5 years & wouldn’t get work done anywhere else. Staff is friendly & office is punctual with appointment times. And for not having insurance I feel i can afford getting a cleaning every 6 months at this facility. I’m all smiles thanks to this office :)

Dr. Gorfien or Dr. G as he likes to call himself is extremely rude and unprofessional. They do not care about their patients and only care about themselves. There is so many qualified and wonderful dentists here in Miami so please do not waste your time or money on these rude, arrogant, and irrational ones.

Found him through pricedoc and got a coupon from them from deep cleaning at $ 65 per quadrant. Which I must admit is comparatively cheap. Amazingly he was actually on time for the appointment. Didn’t have to wait the usual 30 – 60 mins for the dentist or doctor. But I felt he rushed through the procedure. Normally a deep cleaning of all of your teeth should take about an hour. He was done in about 20 mins! I think its a bit difficult to clean anything well if you are rushing to get things done.
