I recently hosted a birthday party here for my daughter who was turning 5. My experience here was great. My event hosts, Dionne and Jazz were so helpful and accommodating and the manager was very cordial and professional. The hosts really took care of everything and I’m glad I added that feature to my party package. The duck pin lanes were set up with bumpers and they even brought over a device to help the kids roll the ball straight. My daughter and her friends had a great time and I had a bunch of fun watching the kids bowl! I would recommend this place for parties for both kids and adults, in fact, I’m considering hosting an adult party here in the future.

I have hosted several parties here, and come in for walk-in lane rentals on many occasions. The good: surprisingly good food, typically plenty of parking, clean, unbeatable rental rates, good party packages and deals, easy to reserve in store/online The okay: they get very, very busy on the weekends. If you plan on walking in on Sunday afternoon or Friday or Saturday evening, don’t plan on being able to rent a lane for at least an hour. They go in first-come-first-serve order unless you reserve in advance, so your group of 6 could be stuck behind 4 groups of 2 each taking a single lane to themselves! Obviously that’s a fair policy, just plan ahead if you are coming with a group or have your heart set on bowling. Not five stars simply because this is your standard bowling alley, but a solid four!

The time I had was great. I came with my family and we bought 2 games of bowling. The manager, Deon was very nice. Then we ordered a Large Cheese pizza and soda from the snack bar. Naseer was working and he had wonderful service as well. He came to help us set up our games also. The pizza was very good and came out quickly. He was a wonderful server.

It’s just about what I’d expect from a bowling alley in Laurel, as far as their parking situation and general cleanliness goes. Thankfully, the staff seem friendly enough and the prices are pretty cheap.

Management has changed a few times since I last regularly had parties here. Lots of promotions and more emphasis on Cosmo bowling. Great for late Saturday nights, but annoying for early(5 p.m.) Sunday evenings. Overall it’s what you’d expect from a bowling alley plenty of lanes and a wide selection of bowling balls of all colors and sizes.

It wasn’t a good experience. I came here for my niece bday party and the man taking the orders was very rude to my brother and sister-in-law. We weren’t able to get the proper assistance and the kids(10 and under) had to wait to bowl. Lastly, we didn’t get our full hour of bowling cause the lane broke and no one came to assist us before our time was up. I would not be recommending this place to anyone.

I went bowling last night with my fiancé and his two friends. I can honestly say we had a good time. We went after 10pm so it was time for comic bowling(I think thats what its called). The music was cool… a mix of a little bit of everything. We bowled for two hours(unlimited games) for $ 30 for two people. I thought that was a good price. We ordered a bucket of beers too, which is always a plus. The only downfall was the place was a little dirty and a lot of the customers were«ghetto.» I really didn’t want to go there, but once I saw a dude with hair clips in his hair like he just left the salon, that said it all… smh. BUT like I said I had a good time and I wouldn’t mind going again.

We hosted our son’s 4th Birthday Party here since he likes to bowl and it’s close to home. We’ve been there to bowl before and even attended a Birthday Party before. I was not at all pleased. Someone was suppose to call the week of the party to confirm the number of kids — never did. I called a few days before and provided the number. We had a large party(~30 kids) so I wanted to make sure they had enough heads up. The table that was setup looked like it had 15 chairs. There were only 4 lanes reserved although they told me it’s typically about 6 kids per lane — doesn’t add up when I said 30 kids! I asked when we arrived just before noon to please bring the pizza out at 12:45 or so. The 1st pizza arrived at 1:15 and only 1 pizza at a time came because apparently only 1 oven was working. All in all, I would NOT recommend it for parties. Poor organization and planning on their part.

This place is a decently maintained place out in the boonies of MD. I drive 30 min on monday nights to this place to take advantage of the $ 5 unlimited bowling(+$ 5 for shoe rentals) from 9pm to close. This is probably the cheapest deal I’ve seen. The food and beer is standard bowling alley grub. For food, they have nachos, hotdogs, pizza, fries, etc. and they have Sam Adams and Miller Lite(cost is around $ 10 for a pitcher of beer(not too shabby). On a side note. and I’m sure most of you aren’t stupid enough to do this, but… don’t throw a bowling ball into a lane that has been turned off. Last time, one of the guys i went with did that and ended up hitting the maintenance man who was working on fixing the lane. He shut the lane, came out, and started screaming off the top of his lungs(he had every right lol). If that happens you’re not gonna be bowling that nite.

I was pleasantly surprised last Friday when we decided to get a group together and do some night bowling. I remember this place being pretty run down and full of obnoxious pre-teens, but it was nothing like that. The staff was very friendly! We paid $ 20 per person for 2 hours of bowling with shoes. They kept the pitchers of beer coming and the food was typical, but did the job. The only bad thing about Friday night bowling is they don’t turn the lights off until all of the leagues are finished so it was after 11 when they finally went out. They did give us extra time for free when we asked. Altogether, not a bad deal for a laid back Friday night. Looks likes they’ve replaced the bowling balls and shoes recently. It was clean and the bathroom wasn’t in bad shape either. My finace enjoyed playing songs on the new jukebox. We all had a pretty great time!

If you think about it, bowling alleys are pretty cool. There aren’t too many places you can go to «practice» a sport, have no skill whatsoever, and make a complete fool out of yourself without anyone else caring. No matter how bad you are, there always seems to be someone else there that’s 10 times worse. This is at least how I justified dropping the ball as I swung it back behind me… oops… I just was relieved to not go sliding down the lane Big Lebowski-style. This bowling alley is nothing fancy. Typical lanes, typical food, typical occasional sketchy people. We went during the week before 6 pm — $ 3.25 a person for each game and extra to rent shoes. If you’re into bowling, you might want to buy a pair of shoes to avoid the cost and funk of old shoes. You can also rent a lane for 2 hours at $ 9 a person. Prices change after 6 pm and on weekends.
