I’m updating my review due to a «compliment» written by the owner Latrice and she basically said it was not her it was her daughter and that I needed to get my facts straights. She said she has fair prices when not once did I say they were unfair, I just mentioned a statement she said to me. She insulted me after she read my review. Reading my first review will let you know that there is no way I would get them mixed up. Her daughter was the one who tried to help me understand how I wanted my hair and gave me ideas. I’m not wrong in my review the owner was rude and she made cry. She took jabs at me my entire stay there. And just now she sent me a «compliment» not owning up to her mistakes but pushing blame, regardless if it was her daughter she is the owner. And the last ten minutes there she truly insulted me by calling me a little girl and telling me she wanted me to hurry and leave more than once. And I find her establishment even more appalling by the fact she sent me a message and told me to get my facts straight. I deleted the message due to the personal insult to me and it also brought back the memory of crying because she was truly rude the whole entire time. I truly had the worst experience. I even complimented her about how she has standards by making sure my hair was done right. I could have did without the rude comments and snappy remarks. I wish I knew the name of the woman who was really friendly, her chair is closest to the door when you walk in, and from her comments I think she mainly does tracks or hair of that nature. She was truly the only one who was friendly. The owners daughter was too, but the one closest to the door really talked to me. I stated that I would never go back and I meant it, I weighed the pros and the cons giving her props when props was due but also telling the truth. It was a 3 star because of the standard I felt she had and the product outcome. My review is now a one. I WILLNEVEREVERGOBACK, MYEXPERIENCETHEREWASHORRIBLEANDHERSENDINGME A RUDECOMMENTONLYCEMENTSMYFIRMBELIEFTHATANOINTEDTOUCHISNOTWHERETOGO. I hope that if people read this and still go you will get great service. Maybe by writing this they’ll try to prove me wrong and I hope so. No one deserves how I felt going there and the comment she made after she sees my review only extinguishes the little bit of fire I had for her establishment. I always put smile at the end of my post, I truly just don’t have one for this one.

I went to Anointed Touch in seek of a natural hair stylist who I could become a regular with. I have a hair goal and I am in search of someone in the area to help me reach it. Pros: — the friendly black neighborhood hair salon vibe — the owner is friendly and from what I can tell geniunely cares about her clients — the products they used made my hair feel awesome — the stylist did a great job on the style — the owner comp’ed half of my style and I only paid 50% Cons(and there are MANY): — I was in this salon for a total of 5 hours and 30 mins, waaaay beyond acceptable(especially as a brand new client with an appointment) — I didn’t even see the ‘chair’ until I’d been there for 90 minutes — My stylist didn’t show up until 2 hours past my appointment time while there was another client waiting. She didn’t seem to be aware that I was even waiting for her.(I made the appointment online and confirmed with the owner who called over the phone. I don’t know if the message wasn’t relayed to her or if she just didn’t care.) — The 2nd stylist(owner’s daughter) in the salon has a lot of personal issues — all of which you will be subject to hearing while in the salon. — The 2nd stylist attempted to do «me a favor» and start my hair while the 3rd stylist(still oblivious to my appointment) was doing someone else’s hair… she then got interrupted with bad news(someone side swiped her car) and left the salon to take care of it. Meanwhile I’m stuck with half of a style for an hour. — When she does make her way back into the salon, she announces aloud and in front of me(the new client) that she was leaving for the day and didn’t feel like doing any more hair. C’mon now! I know I wasn’t your original client but to not start something you finish is just bad shakra. Mind you… she didn’t leave the salon right away… she stayed around and finished touching up her own hair for a half hour before gingerly making her way out. The sad part about all of this was the products and style turned out great and I would have paid 100% for what I got.
