Finish Line

Located on the second floor of Laurel Mall, which I noted in my 3 Bros review, competes with Beltway Plaza Mall for title of worst/​crappiest mall in the region. Heck, if this were an anti-​beauty contest, both of these could be the next Miss Maryland, America, USA, AND Universe.
Merchandise — If you need athletic shoes on the cheap, this is the place to go! Their clearance shoes are great! And I particularly adore their selection of baby shoes. I ended my life as a sneakerhead once I got into college and decided that food was more important than matching outfits, but after having my first daughter, I had a bit of a crisis and bought her 8 pairs of shoes in one visit here… and my total was $ 142 (I used a $ 10 off coupon). For example, I got a pair of Nike Shox Remix (size 2c) for $ 19.99 (retail: $ 39.99). Why they were on clearance, I haven’t a clue! So if you want your little fella or lady to be the freshest baby on the block, without sacrificing their daily meals or college education, this is the place to go!
Location — Based purely on merchandise, this would be a 5 star review, but it’s really hard to overlook the location. For one, the store is located on the 2^nd floor. Several years back, portions of the 2^nd floor of Laurel Mall’s garage collapsed, so I ALWAYS park outside of the garage and wouldn’t dare park on the 2^nd floor. So you would think, «So what if you can’t park on the 2^nd floor, that’s not that big of a deal… right?» WRONG! The only stairs are at the far ends of the Mall so to get to Finish Line, which is right above you when you enter the Mall, you have to walk through the mall on either side to get there. Apparently, they are looking to renovate this place so maybe this will be a 5-​star review. In the mean time, no 5^th star for you!
