First watch has become a regular breakfast spot for me. My first time going to a First Watch was in Cleveland, Ohio, and I absolutely loved it. I have been missing the food, so i was elated when one was put in the Town Center. I am a sucker for the Day Glow. There is something about that mixture of juices that I can’t get enough of. I haven’t found anything I don’t like yet, but usually gravitate towards the«Works» omelet and a side pancake. I will be going here as long as they are open!

After all of the rave about First Watch I wanted to see for myself if this place was that good. I have to say it met my expectations and then some! My sister and I came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning at around 10. We had to wait 5 to 10 minutes before being seated, which was okay because it showed how busy and popular this restaurant was. In addition, we were given the opportunity to make ourselves some complimentary coffee as we wait and the coffee actually tasted good. After we were seated, we asked our waiter of what was good and he gave us his top 4 favorites. We went with his top 2 favorites the Chickichanga and the Parma Hash. We also ordered two juices; the Day Glow and the Kale Tonic. The Kale Tonic was much better than expected and in my opinion was better than the Day Glow. The Kale Tonic was good; it wasn’t too bitter and it wasn’t too sweet. The Day Glow was not that pleasing to the taste buds but you can definitely tell that it was very healthy and good for you. Both the Chickichanga as well as the Parma Hash was very delicious and satisfying. They both came with sides of fruit and potatoes. I would recommend getting these two meals, especially if it is your first time at First Watch. I will for sure be back here again!

This place never disappoints. TIP: There is usually a wait if you arrive after 10am. There’s an app that lets you jump ahead of the line. Use it if you’re in a hurry. Food comes out fairly quick and the waiters have all been very attentive. Prices are fair. Best part of this place is the freshness and taste of the food so this place is an obvious gem. I’ve been here s few times and I’ve always left satisfied. I’m trying a lunch option today… the reuben and tomato soup. The only reason First Watch got a 4 of 5 is because they never took the time to clean off the long communal tables. We had to clean off our own little section. Get that a little better and it’ll be an easy 5⁄5.

So happy FirstWatch finally came to my area, I had been to locations in Baltimore and Virginia and this one is even better. Love everything about this place besides the wait times, but it’s still worth it.

Went back a few weeks later and the service was IMPECCABLE! I went there to do work and the waiter came over every so often to check on me without being annoying or overbearing. The food was delicious. Much much much better experience. I’m convinced that my prior experience cell was just a one off. I think my servers name was Anthony and he was phenomenal!

I think we’re all kinda sucked into the atmosphere of this place and when you compare the esthetics to that of Denny’s and IHOP, well; there’s no comparison. This is a lovely restaurant. The expanse of windows, makes it bright and welcoming, hardwood floors throughout, lots of open space, subdued lighting, chalkboards, hanging cutting boards, an interesting menu and a hot cop of joe, waiting for you — upon entering this restaurant. Beyond the décor, I found very little pleasing with my breakfast, an egg white omelet with the scantest amount of turkey(microscopic cubes), onions, tomatoes(teeny tiny dices) & feta(totally absent). The spinach that was supposed to be folded with the other ingredients, in my omelet — lay one leaf on top, as a decorative measure; I suppose. The side that arrived with my omelet was a sliced, mealy tomato and an English muffin with a ramekin of ketchup? Sure looks like ketchup to me. So, I asked the server for jam and said that it’s on your table. Pointing at my ketchup, our waiter informed us that this was jam and not ketchup. He said people think it’s ketchup all the time. Now, this is a no brainer — if customers think the jam is ketchup, then shouldn’t the waiters inform their customers of this or better yet, place your jam in a white ramekin. Forgetting about my previous review, I ordered the fried potatoes — bagged frozen then fried — not worth the carbs.

Tried this place for the first time today and it was eh. The food was just okay but nothing memorable. However, service was really great. Our waiting was very enthusiastic and accommodating. Tip for the restaurant: please wash your cups better! There were stains all over all of my cups. I could hear the table next to us complaining as well.

His personality was like sunshine and he was so helpful checking on us often and making sure we were happy. He was a little busy but that still didn’t make our experience bad he was like a pro going from customer to customer. I had been meaning to visit this place for a while and I finally got a chance to. I’m always looking for great breakfast/brunch restaurants. While the food was what I expected the service wasn’t the best. I went on a Saturday morning and waited on my table for more than 45 minutes because I never got the text saying my table was ready. Our waitress not once checked back on us after our food came but we definitely saw her go to her other tables. I never got my water that I had asked for in the beginning until I asked another server to bring it to me and the glass bottle was dirty. Lastly my food was wrong and couldn’t even have her take it back since we waited so long for it and she nowhere near to get her attention. I was so hungry I just ended up eating what I got. I would recommend this place but whoever takes care of management needs to reiterate to the servers what customer service is.

Cliffnotes: being offered a free chocolate muffin is not a consolation prize for cold food and bad service. Went here this past Sunday(11⁄1) and got there right about 1pm. Waited about 10 minutes and got seated. The table next to us had dirty dishes from a 4-top on it the entire time and never got bused. My boyfriend got an omelette, I got the breakfast«egg in hole» special. We waited over 30 minutes for our food with no one checking in to explain a wait or offering drink refills. I finally turned around and eventually got the attention of someone that wasn’t our waitress and asked for our food to be checked on. Our waitress come over a minute later, apologizes for the wait, and bring us water. Our food comes out a minute later, and mine is stone cold to the point where the hollandaise sauce is starting to congeal. Gross. I send it back, and while I’m waiting for it to be remade in a «rush», our waitress comes over with a chocolate muffin on a plate and says«Do you like chocolate muffins?»(as an apology for my food being cold) I say«No, thank you» and she then offers the muffin to my boyfriend, whose food was fine. It was extremely awkward, neither of us wanted it, and apparently she thought a muffin that was going to be thrown away at the end of the day(they were closing in half an hour by the time) was correct reconciliation for cold food and going missing for half an hour. My food comes out, again, and is cold, again. It seemed like it had been poorly microwaved and then had cold hollandaise poured over it. In addition, the kale/bacon/mushroom side had literal chunks of garlic and salt in it. And was also cold. The bill came, no adjustments were made, I went to pay and the waiter that cashed me out said they were crazy busy today and kept having to run over the Harris Teeter across the parking lot to get more food and supplies. Lovely. He took my food off the bill after my asking, nothing was offered. Side note: we did not eat the muffin.

First Watch is a wonderful addition to a town sorely in need of new breakfast options. I’ve visited about ten times so far at various times of day(7:15AM on a weekday morning, 11AM during the weekend brunch rush, you name it). I have yet to be disappointed. The coffee, brought to your table in a carafe you get to keep, much to my delight, is delicious. Their juices are also fresh-squeezed and a great start to the meal. The entrees are plentiful and varied. If you’re feeling brave, the pancakes are gigantic and delicious. I suggest getting two smaller entrees and splitting one big pancake as a group. The triathlete, an egg white omelette filled with spicy peppers and served with salsa, an english muffin, and a substantial bowl of fruit on the side, is a great option when you are looking for the basics without too much caloric debt going into the day. The market hash is another awesome vegetarian option consisting of roasted veggies mixed with breakfast potatoes served with goat cheese and two eggs on top. The service has always been prompt and friendly, even when there is a 20 – 30 minute wait on busy weekend mornings.

Having visited here several times, I can’t think of a better breakfast/brunch location which has the bonus of healthy options. There’s really something here for everyone. From French Toast to Waffles to everything in between… don’t pass this place up! Currently, serving a delish pumpkin pancake breakfast. One large pancake which is like eating a slice of pumpkin pie, 2 eggs, 2 sausage. All a heavenly slice of Fall.

Second time trying First Watch but first at this location. It was crowded and a little wait but I took that as a good sign. I ordered the Belgian waffle with eggs and turkey sausage. The sausage was a little overcooked but other than that the meal wasn’t too bad. Not the best but decent and for the price I’d recommend for a quick breakfast.

Throughly enjoyed brunch here yesterday with my sister and best friend who was in town for a couple of days. Our waiter was really funny, and kept cracking jokes with us when he realized we were probably the randomest people ever and were not going to be a serious table. Everything was delicious, highly recommend the pumpkin pancakes while they’re here, I wish I’d gotten just those & not one of them + one of the hashes(which was also good, but I’ve had it before and the pancakes were some of the best I’ve had). Great atmosphere too, one of the nicest First Watches I’ve ever been too! Go on a Tuesday morning if you can, the place was only 1⁄3 full when we got there around 11 – 11:30 yesterday.

I want to give t his place more stars because of the concept, location, descent breakfast/brunch menu and décor… but there are issues. My waitress hands me my menu and while talking to her about breakfast drinks(which were good) my menu flew off the table and landed on the floor a few tables away. She just looked at me. I made a joke about dropping things and she just stood there. Realizing quickly that she wasn’t even willing to assist me, I climbed off of my stool and grabbed the menu. While this wasn’t her responsibility… it’s just good customer service to help! Not stare! Next…my beverage comes out. Yay… the Pineapple cooler was good, but HUGEISSUE. She has her entire hand and fingers wrapped around the rim of the whole glass. SOOOOGROSS. That’s waitressing #1. I asked for a straw and she then proceeded to bring a glass for my waiter the exact same way. It’s just nasty. The food was mediocre at best. I HONESTLY could have gone to Denny’s, Silver Diner or iHop for cheaper better food. Everything came out cold, hard, and very underwhelming. Even my scrambled eggs weren’t scrambled. It was a fried egg that had been cut up… huh!!! My waitress never checked on me after she dropped the food off. Instead 15 minutes later, she dropped off my check and said«whenever you’re ready.» Thanks for asking. As I’m typing this, I’m listening to two other customers comment on how their food isn’t cold and the lack of flavor. First Watch has an excellent concept, but food and customer service need to go up SEVERALNOTCHES. Don’t waste your time… or money.

This is my second time here. It’s a winner. First plus? The free coffee if you have to wait for your table. For those of us that tend to arrive at a place hangry, this is like water in the desert. You can sip while you wait, and suddenly waiting ain’t so bad! Today, great service, but my breakfast was the real winner. The thing I like about First Watch is the portion sizes. They are NORMAL. Like HEALTHY in a real way. One does not have to feel like they overate or feel like you need a nap because you had so many carbs. It’s not IHOP, or a diner. I feel good after eating here. Today, it was wheat toast, with chopped avocado on top sitting on a small drizzle of evoo that was very tasty. The other end of the plate, two perfectly poached eggs. The combination of all of that was simply PERFECT. Add that to the full coffee pot and the refreshing pineapple, orange, cucumber, like fresh juice thing? Yum and Joy. If you want to feel good after you eat, and like fresh and seasonal, this place is for you. If you want to pig out with the same old pancakes, pork products, hash browns etc… Hit the old standbys in the neighborhood.

Let me just start off by saying that I will definitely be back. I stopped in for breakfast on 04⁄13 before completing a few errands for the day. When I arrived we were immediately seated. The menu isn’t very vast but I wanted to try everything but I narrowed it down and got the trifecta. My trifecta consisted of a fluffy delicious waffle, egg whites with cheese and turkey sausage(drooling as I type this review). My dad got almost the same except he got blueberry pancakes & no cheese in his egg whites… he liked his breakfast but felt like the texture of the pancakes were not cooked to his liking… he felt they were not done in some spots. I’ll be back to try something on the lunch menu and the juice bar… thanks Rae for having so many yummy check-ins that I had to bookmark & try

The restaurant is fresh & new along with the smiles on their employees’ faces! With the best French Toast made with raisin bread under the sun and excellent omelets, I see great promise in this place!
